A neat retro game shop! I frequent tons of different retro game shops, so I naturally had to stop in to this location before making the drive back to my city after watching the 2024 eclipse. The store was packed full with used games, movies, and consoles, and a ton of merch and snacks as well. K-pop music and music from the Godzilla Minus One ost was playing overhead and gave the place a super fun and eclectic vibe. I think it would've been even more fun to peruse through on another day, but the two girls running the register were very loudly having a heated conversation and kind of brought the atmosphere down. Despite the impressive stock, the selection of games was decent at best. There was a good mix of games from the last 20 years, but not much from the PS1 era or earlier. There were some lucky finds, yes, but A LOT of the games didn't come with their original cases or were missing the case art. If you're a collector like I am, it really sucked to find games I've been looking for without said cases or art. Still, there was a lot to sift through and I did leave with a few purchases, and if the missing cases and art don't bother you I'm sure you'll leave with even more. The stickers they put on the games were also some of the worst stickers I've tried to remove as well. They put one smack dab on the back of a DS cartridge I purchased and it took a long time to remove the sticker with Goo-Gone because I didn't want to potentially damage the game. All in all, I wouldn't mind stopping back in next time I'm in the area to see everything they have in store. There was just so much to look through that I didn't get a chance to see. They have alot of movies getting stolen each time I go. Movies aren't in the cases. And I just get a shoulder shrug of oh well guess it got taken. They don't pull back anything other than the 4K dvds. So big let down. So much product just walks right out the door. Pull them all back or tape them up like pawn shops do. Go to the Copperas Cove location never had a problem with them. read more

Employees let me stand there at the counter for 15 minutes while one employee set my game down for the other to look for it apparently (which I had no idea this was occurring), the lady I was originally checking out with then took a phone call and said nothing to me. After the 2nd employee finished with another customer she went back to working elsewhere, I asked her if she could look for my game for me, which she responded with "oh we don't have it". No one cared to tell me this while I stood there for 15 minutes waiting? They just let me waste my time in the store for nothing? Thanks. Terrible service. read more

My PS2 quit reading discs..I live in Troy just north of temple the temple store didn't have any ps2s so I called Killeen.. The person answered was either Coby or Cody he said yes they have what I was looking for and said they would hold it for me..I said ok my name is Steve he told me he was putting my name on it and putting it back...I drive over which is about 40 minutes told him I had talked to him about the PS2 he then looked up on the shelf and told me he hadn't had time to put it back and they had sold it then laughed at me when I got mad..... My husband went inside to purchase a game after finally getting a PS4 for our son. From the moment he walked in the manager was very rude. He was helped by a new hire and as she was searching for the game we requested. The manager jumped to his feet to assist two other customers but when she asked for help he ignored her and continue to imply that she start to shut down different things in the store because it was 8:39pm ( they close at 9pm . She asked a second time and was helped by another employee. The manager then started with a very aggressive and nasty attitude towards my husband and employee. The selection here is pretty vast. But the customer service could be improved. You can tell when the employees are stressed out, but they are very knowledgeable on all game related things. The store is pretty clean and organized. I would come back to this store. read more

Went to Game Exchange today to by my Hubby a PS4, they didn't have the game I needed because it was to new. Bought the game at a different store. When I came home and we set up the PS4 and put the game in, it said that it was going to take hours to download. I have very fast internet so I was confused. I was feeling nostalgic so I came in to buy a PS2 with a couple old games to go with it. As soon as I got home I realized the control they gave me with it had a busted triangle key so unfortunately I couldn't car jack anyone in GTA Vice City. I also purchased Tekken tag so lucky for me I bought another controller on the side. I played GTA for a few hours when it kept freezing saying the disc read error. I pulled out the game and noticed there was a nice big ring around it. Pretty sucky that I spent $90 on all this just to have a broken controller and a scratched game I can't play. Gamestop- Bow your head in shame. This place has an amazing selection of all the consoles (you can seriously walk out with a Dreamcast and N64 no problem), a back room of DVD's and rows upon rows of games. The anime selection isn't bad and I found some old titles that I don't bump into too often in this store. If you're a game enthusiast this place is for you. read more

Great selection of used movies/shows and games/systems. Parking is a bit limited but the store is well kept and the staff is helpful. Their return policy isn't the greatest but you're not likely to run into any issues anyway. read more

Now why would I want to drive to another city to exchange an IPOD i bought in Killeen? There is no manager, no regional manager, and he sales people are helpful at all. Great place to go if you're looking for a huge choice of movies!! This place has old new and rare movies! There are thousands to pick from and they're cheap!! As far as games, its the same thing as the movies. If you're planning on selling them a used item don't expect a lot of cash. You will get a lowball offer. read more
