Game Headz is one of the most shabby video game retail stores I have ever been into. Before I…read moreentered I didn't expect it to be like GameStop but I didn't expect almost all of the shelves to be empty with only one employee helping a line full of people. I went in to find two games that were unpopular and one game that was semi- popular at the time. I was able to get a hold of the semi-popular game and I was surprised that they had it in stock, simply because the store had a limited number of available games. On top of the disappointment of not being able to find all of the games I came for, the service was terribly slow. There was one employee helping at least eight customers. I was at the front of the line and it took him about 20 minutes to get the game and "prepare" it for purchase. I feel like if you are going to shop at Game Headz you should call ahead, see if they have the game you want, and ask them to prepare it for you ahead of time. -TRQ

I have had her a few times now and the same service, but tonight was the worst, so the store was dead it was 930 didnt get acknowldeged from the employes who were sitting around chatting away, cool ok long day, im good I know my way around the store, but to get to the register and not be acknoldge by the girl who simply wrang me up with out any words,(but she contintues to chat with her co worker) told me my total and said ya need a bag so dry like I was a bother, never a hi welcome to the store never a hey can I help you with anything never did you find everything ok, she even was sitting while she wrang me up, agin not the first time with her or a few other girls that work there. so sad I'll now take all my cash to other gaming stores. and I was a loyal customer I got everything from you guys and sent you people. train your employess better. And to the girl on the register, little girl i have been been playing DnD longer than you have been alive! Treat people with respect, you dont know crap about gaming just becouse you work at a gaming store. Your lucky I was tired I would have told you to roll a 20 sider!

Well stocked, but buyer beware…read more This is one of the few places around that sells new copies of older games. However, I unknowingly bought a PAL version of a game. As you might expect, it was pricey, and no one mentioned it might not be what I wanted. When I realized, well, now it's opened, so would you like $9 back on your $90 purchase? I wouldn't call it a "scam" but I wish their staff was more forthcoming about selling games from another region. If you know to check everything closely before buying, this seems like a nice shop, but if you're less of an expert, you might want to shop somewhere with better buyer protection.

They usually have a decent selection of games, but they also have way too much toy garbage like Funko Pops, when that space could be used for retro games. I mean the store is called Gamestop, not Toystop. If they replaced the toys with retro games they would be making much more money. The prices are good. You can find decent used games going for a fair price.

This store is by far the best Retro Game Store in all of the tri-county area. The owner is super…read moreknowledgeable and very good about checking trade ins to make sure they all work, which is more than I can say about many of his customers who run shotty businesses. He always keeps a good selection on all systems old and newer. He only takes quality stuff and not any junk condition items. He also sells some arcade games and has some you can play depending on what days you come in. Last but not least...he will repair games and systems as well. I can't recommend this store enough. I can't express enough gratitude for these people because 150 items does take a while and they helped me till the end like the champions they are! They even stayed open later to help me! I used to work in retail myself and I know how annoying that can be and they did it with a smile! Seriously, if you are looking for good service and excellent prices for video games this holiday season, then the Livonia Disc Replay location is your first, last, and only stop! :) P.S.
