So I purchased a device informed staff I would be using that headphones at the gym to try it out bearing in mind the headphones were at 45% charge 30 minutes after using the headphones the battery died and the plastic on the headphones started to peel right off I would also like to point out that the sound which they spoke of that was supposed to be good quality was not it sounded like half volume and I have mixx Tesco headphones which are so much louder the sound quality is muffled on high volume and you can still hear your surroundings when informing them of this they carried out what they called their test and said everything was fine and was unable to refund me my full money but would provide me a voucher. I do not shop and here very often and have no need for a vouch. I do not appreciate how I was treated by whilst I was there to the point of frustration that I started crying I was informed that if I returned it within two days, I would be able to get a full refund. as a neuro divergent person trying to navigate my way in the world and trying to purchase things on my own without being to have to experience this was very traumatising for me and I will definitely not be shopping in store again the lack of information that was provided was abysmal. They did not fully inform customers about each device prior to purchase because if I was told that the sound was not top quality because I asked before I bought the headphones sound was good and they stated the sound fine. You should be able to hear it fine but that was not the case at all on top of that parts of the headphone was coming apart. I'm just very upset because what I was told by the staff in The when buying it was that apart from all the physical scratches and minor faults that you can see everything else with the headphones should work perfectly fine and I just feel like I was completely lied to or deceived into buying this device.

But game do have something going for them, the staff are knowledgeable and keen to help you find what you're after. The stock is usually well presented on the shelves, except when they've been busy with is understandable, and the top games are always stocked in depth to ensure you can pick up the latest thing as soon as it comes out. It's a nicely spaced shop with plenty of room to manoeuvre around the displays, all very well lit and very clean and tidy. You can do better for price but would be hard pushed to beat the service.

Either way, it may be here for a very good price for all I know, but I couldn't afford to spend two hours looking... As second hand shops go, HD2 does exactly what it says on the can: buys and sells second hand media. There's loads of stuff on offer here, although the mix is somewhat strange. I guess the DVDs and music that ends up in second hand shops isn't always the most popular, but I couldn't find one band I knew on a 5 minute browse! Still, you might find a buried treasure in here, and I do mean buried: everything is piled on top of each other in a rather hodge-podge manner, and the filing system can, at best, be described as 'lazy'. Still, as second hand shops go, the atmosphere is the place does bring to mind the hidden den of some new media afficionnado, unlike the sterile colours of places like Game. However, is atmosphere worth more than being able to find what you want? I find it hard to directly recommend HD2, as it's impossible to find anything, and the chance of them having the one thing you're looking for is pretty remote. If you fancy a browse, the filing system makes it a bit of a nightmare to find anything that might even interest you in the slightest! Still, the kooky charm here is quite pleasant: worth a short visit at least.

The deals on used games here are INSANELY good, especially for older stuff like Xbox 360 or PS3. I picked up so many games for great prices, like Halo Reach for £2.50, and FUEL for £3. While I was limited by the fact that the games I bought had to be US region compatible, as I live in the US and have a US Xbox 360, they still have a lot of great deals on those. If you're in the area and you love gaming you absolutely need to check out CeX! They also accept contactless pay which is really convenient and have a good selection of non-gaming things ranging from cheap dvds/blu-rays all the way to laptops and tablets. I typically come to the UK once or yay year and you can bet I'll be stopping by CeX at least once per trip if not more. It's impossible for me to overstate how awesome this store is for gamers and gaming enthusiasts, definitely recommend it to anyone in the gaming community.

The shop is spacious and while items are not stacked in the most user-friendly way - a knack for reading sideways comes in handy - it means that a lot can be fitted in without making the shop feel cramped.
