I also like the fact they they have late night opening in the run up to Christmas. This is by far the least stressful way to buy Transformers toys (or whatever the latest craze is). Instead of fighting the crowds you can wander along nearly empty aisles. And it is so close to a large Argos that you can be sure that one of them will have what you want in stock.

The shop is always well stocked with a variety of childrens toys, including some you are unlikely to find in many supermarkets. Reasonably priced, this would be the ideal place to purchase a child's Christmas present. How the shop survives the rest of the year I do not know, but it always seems to be fairly bustling, so I suggest combining a visit with a trip to Waitrose or something. It's not worth heading in to town for a visit alone, but be sure to bear it in mind.
