I have found this store to be a valubale asset for exchanging my games for newer releases. The store is very modern and new. Also i discovered it to be very reasonably priced. CEX is at heart a great idea…read more Its a small crammed store, that is a dealer for hi-tech gadgets. That covers games consoles, and games, to pc's, mobile phones, and just plain gadgets. It only has 3 downfalls. 1) Pricing structure, for 2nd hand hardware. I have no idea who sets their prices but in this store they quite often have 2nd hand hardware for more or the same money as the same item brand new from elsewhere. 2) Its way too cramped, they could have done with a bigger unit, or less stock and a bit more space. Forget wheelchair access or a pushchair. 3) Staffing, this place seams to open late and close early quite often due to staffing issues. Once open the store is often only manned by one or two people, which means ques normally form from people wanting to sell there items, which in turn makes the cramped store packed and unshoppable. However they do buy, sell and part exchange on most stock items which can be a nice way to unload all those old rubbish dvd's or console titles your friends wont buy ;)

Came for prices, left due to shoddy customer service. Part of my order showed up almost a month…read morelate, another part was cancelled without them even informing me. Worst part though was the truly useless customer service when I contacted them to find out where the heck my stuff was. Confrontational, blame shifting and unable to even muster an apology or read my emails properly. I've spent €1,000s here in the past but they won't be getting a penny more from me. I know their discount is tempting but there are other retailers with similar discounts and WAY better attitudes.

Okay, before I even begin to write this review, let me start with... no, they are not actually…read more"toys" they are miniatures. And no, I do not play with the miniatures, but the man I love does. And of course, that has direct repercussions on our household life. It means many hours walking by Games Workshop and Dark Sphere to pick up things for his army. It means many hours helping him paint tanks and aliens. It means bookshelves in our cramped apartment devoted to paints, men with little guns, and armored aliens. It means all of this to me. But of course so much more to my husband. With my husband's discovery of Dark Sphere, it means that he can now complete his army and get 25% off. Not only does that make him happy, that makes me happy too! Because that 25% in savings usually means treating me out to a nicely deserved weekly dinner for being a very tolerant wifey! (You can save 20% when dropping their shop, or 25% by ordering online, OR you can even order online and then pick up in their shop!) P.S. They're currently moving to a less crowded location! I like the game box thing in the corner. On some days they get the link statue out and dress it up, those are good days. You can play Warhammer here which is nice, I do like to ham some wars.
