I used to go to Aspen Dental on one of their free offers for ex-rays and exams for a cleaning…read more Since then, I switched over to Integrative Dental Solutions in Peawaukee, WI; however they only offer tray whitening. I wanted to go back to Aspen for another whitening, but it seems their hygeinists are finding my teeth have higher numbers for gum recession, so they want to do an advanced cleaning. My dental insurance covers up to 40% of certain procedures, but their advanced cleaning is $1500 and they don't have laser treatment which is intermediary to their "advanced cleaning" and preventative for recession and pockets. I've already had 2 exams with 2 difffernet dental offices (I did not like the hygeinist at one place); and one cleaning this April, and sent that documentation at their request for proof I've had those things before I could purchase their whitening which is done by light instead of messy trays. The man scheduler said this would be adequate rather than having another exam or advanced cleaning for which I'd pay $400 cash. However, I had to change my appt and then find I must have a third exam for the Aspen Dental Dentist to keep his lisense, okay; but then he wants to re-evaluate if I still need their "advanced cleaning" before he can proceed to the whitening I thought I was having THAT DAY. I just had my teeth cleaned and laser gumline (excellent treatment) within the last month! Save your money and go elsewhere. They will not utilize other dental office care if you're days out from their 1 yr policy, although I was told it is 2 yrs a few days ago and now it is 1 yr! Not only did they bill me for a panaramic ex-ray I never had and they will not reimburse my gental insurance for that, they will scam you into getting treatment and procedures you've already had within one month just to make money off of you if you want only their teeth whitening service. Very inappropriate and claim to need advanced services other dental clinics do not, and NOT because they are more thorough than the 2 other dentists I was just seen at! A BIG HASSLE.
