The price gouging is so severe, so calculated, and so shameless that it feels like outright extortion. ​This is especially true with their medications. It is absolutely sickening how they hold your pet's health hostage by charging astronomical, unjustifiable markups on life-saving medicine that costs a fraction of the price anywhere else. They know your animal needs it to survive or be out of pain, and they use that exact desperation to line their own pockets. Every single basic necessity is marked up to a disgusting degree while they casually tally up a bill that leaves you gasping. ​You go to a vet expecting comfort, compassion, and urgent medical care. Response time is always very quick, and the rates are reasonable for the peace of mind these people provide. I love getting email updates on how my dogs are doing. Even when they're naughty and get into the trash or have a little accident, everything is in order when I get home and my dogs are happy and loved. **Need to add an update because of one visit in particular. It has taken me a while to be able to write this. Over the Summer, I had the amazing folks from Paws First watching my dogs while I was away for the weekend out of state. My senior dog's health had been in decline for a while, but it didn't seem to be cause for too much concern- just typical old dog stuff. One night, her health took a very sudden and dramatic turn. It was clear that if she were brought in to the the vet that she would not be returning. I didn't want my old girl's last moments to be spent someplace unfamiliar. The staff at Paws First went above and beyond to provide extra care and comfort to her when she needed it most so I could race home to be with her. I am forever grateful for all they did for her.

Her vehicle was spacious and clean, her timing for pickup was punctual and she sent me photos and location information all along the way. She also introduced me to some calming music that seemed to help my cats relax on the road. She had extra supplies on hand for the journey as well. I wish I could give her more stars because she went above and beyond any expectations I or my family had. I'm also physically disabled and she helped me handle the cages with no problem or questions asked. She made it all very easy and stress free when I hired her and I highly recommend her company.

Sarah, our groomer was fantastic with my puppy. My puppy didn't like the dryer they use so Sarah hand dried her (how cool is that). Now my puppy smells as good as she looks. We had her for two months and she was still so skittish and shy when we decided to try to bring her to Hounds Town. The staff is amazing and really understands that every dog is different and has their own needs. The first time we brought her, I almost didn't leave her because she looked so sad and scared when I was leaving. The second time I brought her she still looked back at me but it wasn't as bad. By the third time, she was pulling me into the building and did not look back at me at all when I left. Tail wagging and wiggle butts every time now! The staff remembers her name every time and they truly love to see her come in. She has blossomed under their care and is no longer the shy, scared pup she once was. We look forward to the "paw-ties" they throw and the fun photos and "paintings" she gets sent home with. She gets spa treatments (baths and nails)! They responded quickly and reassured me that a biologist inspects each turtle before it's cleared for shipping. They also explained that the turtles are packed appropriately for the climate they're being sent to and shipped overnight to minimize stress. Shipping ended up being delayed by about three weeks, but CBReptile kept me updated with weekly emails, letting me know that their biologist hadn't approved the turtle for shipment yet. I really appreciated the transparency and the fact that they prioritized the turtle's health over speed. I'd much rather wait a bit longer if it means a healthier animal. When he finally arrived on 4/30, he was alert and active right out of the box. He's tiny, about a 1-inch shell, but full of energy, an excellent swimmer, and has a healthy appetite. He seems very happy and is thriving. Their communication was excellent throughout the entire process, and the care they show for the animals is obvious. I wouldn't hesitate to order from them again. Highly recommended.
