Firstly, I'd like to mention that the intake staff and vet techs were friendly and professional. The veterinarian, not so much and that is an UNDERSTATEMENT. Dr.Grant carried a snarky attitude and unpleasant demeanor from the beginning of our visit. He took an attitude with us regarding our concern that our cat may have had a run in with an insect and rudely stated "that didn't happen, so let's just take that off the table right now". Dr.Grant then suggested diagnostic bloodwork which we agreed to. When we asked for the estimated cost of the visit, Dr.Grant began to speak using profanities in relation to the staff not providing the estimate at intake and proceeded to mumble under his breath as he exited the exam room. Dr.Grant then took our cat to the back of the facility for approximately 15 minutes to carry out his tests. Dr.Grant returned to the room and said our cat's bloodwork looked "normal", we asked where the cat is because he came back empty handed to which he replied "sold". I was not thrilled with his dry sense of humor and requested he bring our cat back to us to which he replied with passive aggressive remarks, specifically, "oh you want the cat back, sure I'll go get the cat back for you" he repeated this multiple times as he walked to the back of the office. We then asked him what he thought the issue with our pet is and he spoke condescendingly to us while explaining what a fever is and did not provide any insight as to the findings of the bloodwork, or any other observations. At this point I expressed concern over his demeanor throughout the duration of the visit, in response he became very short and rude and I responded by saying he was "acting like a jackass", a comment which I recognize was wrong and later attempted to apologize for when confronted by Dr.Grant following him throwing a fit, attempting to shame us for not having more regular visits to the vet with our cat and telling us to "get out and don't come back". When following up with the vet techs in an attempt to receive a clear diagnosis for our sick pet, Dr. Grant decided to go out of his way and confront us once again in the lobby, I again attempted to apologize for my earlier comment and have a professional conversation with the doctor to determine a course of treatment or any appropriate next steps. He remained agitated and once again told us to "get out" following a brief exchange. To say we are disgusted with the behavior and lack of professionalism, compassion, and care exhibited by Dr.Grant would be a gross misrepresentation. This man is incapable of delivering the minimum level of acceptable service one would expect to receive from a veterinarian. I sincerely hope that someone can explain to us what is wrong with our pet because we left without receiving a diagnosis, care, compassion (from the doctor), or treatment. I welcome a discussion with a senior representative of this facility regarding today's experience.

I feel so fortunate to have found Paws First, which gives me the option to have my pets cared for in their own home. The ability to book online makes arranging for pet sitting so easy and convenient. Response time is always very quick, and the rates are reasonable for the peace of mind these people provide. I love getting email updates on how my dogs are doing. Even when they're naughty and get into the trash or have a little accident, everything is in order when I get home and my dogs are happy and loved. **Need to add an update because of one visit in particular. It has taken me a while to be able to write this. Over the Summer, I had the amazing folks from Paws First watching my dogs while I was away for the weekend out of state. My senior dog's health had been in decline for a while, but it didn't seem to be cause for too much concern- just typical old dog stuff. One night, her health took a very sudden and dramatic turn. It was clear that if she were brought in to the the vet that she would not be returning. I didn't want my old girl's last moments to be spent someplace unfamiliar. The staff at Paws First went above and beyond to provide extra care and comfort to her when she needed it most so I could race home to be with her. I am forever grateful for all they did for her.

They actively prey on the love you have for your pet, knowing you will do whatever it takes to help them, and they use that vulnerability to financially destroy you. The price gouging is so severe, so calculated, and so shameless that it feels like outright extortion. This is especially true with their medications. It is absolutely sickening how they hold your pet's health hostage by charging astronomical, unjustifiable markups on life-saving medicine that costs a fraction of the price anywhere else. They know your animal needs it to survive or be out of pain, and they use that exact desperation to line their own pockets. Every single basic necessity is marked up to a disgusting degree while they casually tally up a bill that leaves you gasping. You go to a vet expecting comfort, compassion, and urgent medical care. Instead, leaving this place just leaves you feeling completely hollow, sick to your stomach, and utterly robbed. It is a devastating realization that the people you trusted with your helpless animal couldn't care less about whether they live or die, as long as the invoice is paid. They are a soulless, greedy operation running a racket on terrified pet owners. Please, I am begging anyone reading this, do not take your animals here. Save yourself the heartbreak, the trauma, and the financial ruin. Go to a vet who actually has a heart.

They completely missed trimming the thumb nail, and a month later I noticed my cat constantly biting at her paw. When I checked, I found that the missed nail had grown into her paw pad, causing her pain and discomfort. I called the hospital to explain what happened and scheduled an appointment. When I arrived, the staff immediately tried to shift the blame by saying, "We see that her nails grow quickly." I corrected them right away--none of her other nails were even close to being long. It was very clear this one nail had been missed during the trim. Instead of acknowledging their mistake, they refused to take responsibility and tried to charge me $200 for an antibiotic to treat a problem they caused. I told the doctor this should be fixed at no cost since it was their error, but they refused and sent me home with my cat--still injured and without medication. One of the worst veterinary experiences I've ever had. I've been to many vets and never encountered such poor care, lack of accountability, and disregard for an animal's well-being. I will never return and would not recommend this place to anyone who cares about their pet.
