I've used many groomers over the years and I can tell by my pup's demeanor if it was a good or bad experience. My dogs always come back from Geri with a happy attitude. I am happy with Pawpurrazzi! it's never a long wait and that is best for the dogs, less stress. Dog grooming is a very difficult job, but Geri makes it a pleasant experience for us. I've been going there for a few years now, always a good job.

Upon arrival they showed our dog love and were able to put him in a pen with a group of other playful pups. I checked up on him mid way through his stay and he was having so much fun he didn't even show signs of separation anxiety which let me know he was being treated well. Response time is always very quick, and the rates are reasonable for the peace of mind these people provide. I love getting email updates on how my dogs are doing. Even when they're naughty and get into the trash or have a little accident, everything is in order when I get home and my dogs are happy and loved. **Need to add an update because of one visit in particular. It has taken me a while to be able to write this. Over the Summer, I had the amazing folks from Paws First watching my dogs while I was away for the weekend out of state. My senior dog's health had been in decline for a while, but it didn't seem to be cause for too much concern- just typical old dog stuff. One night, her health took a very sudden and dramatic turn. It was clear that if she were brought in to the the vet that she would not be returning. I didn't want my old girl's last moments to be spent someplace unfamiliar. The staff at Paws First went above and beyond to provide extra care and comfort to her when she needed it most so I could race home to be with her. I am forever grateful for all they did for her.

This was the first time that the owner of the agency refused to provide a last name/resume/address/credentials/phone number/ANY VERIFIABLE INFORMATION for the sitter up front. She seemed to take it personally that I didn't take her word for it that her referral was flawless. But again, as a mom of three kids who travels regularly - I've learned the value in validating and doing a basic google search of the person I'm hoping to leave three small children with. On Monday, the owner wrote to me, "XX will reach out with a blocked call to introduce herself, if you miss her call, no worries, she will be there for you all on Saturday." I politely asked for a last name and a phone number, such that I could speak to her in advance of her standing in front of me and my kids before I leave to go to a wedding for six hours. The owner replied telling me no, I could not have any of that information because, "XX is very well established in our organization." Then she tried to push me by saying that there's only one other agency in the area and its not insured in NJ and is so large. This was consistent with the level of professionalism we experienced. By Wednesday morning, I still hadn't heard from the sitter or been given anything that I could independently verify. I emailed the owner to tell her this wouldn't work out. Magically, the sitter calls me within minutes of me hitting send and is now willing to make an exception and share her phone number. By this point (four days before the event), we have made other arrangements with someone willing to let me Google them in advance. This agency's sitters may all be amazing. But I've never once been told by an agency (or a competent babysitter, for that matter) that I can't see a copy of a sitter's CPR certificate, identification, or dated background check. In this day and age, we just can't take the chance and go with a "trust me, I run an agency" approach. Particularly when other reviews of this agency here and elsewhere indicate there have been issues of sitters not showing up or not being professional. The owner texted me to tell me that she would still charge us the sitter referral fee because she DID make a placement and it was my choice to cancel her. She and I have a different opinion on what a placement is - mine isn't "here is the first name of a person." She can keep the $20 though - seems like they need it more than we do. UPDATE: 10/25/2019 1) To re-iterate, we did NOT hire a babysitter and this is a review of the agency's policies, not the babysitter herself, since we found a different babysitter before this agency's sitter called us. 2) To be clear, the owner did not literally say "trust me, I run an agency." Instead, she argued that I did not need to see any supporting documents about the sitter (including her last name, a dated background check, or her phone number) because, as she literally texted to me, "I vet the sitter so clients don't have to." In three states and in five sitter agencies, I have always been sent more information and/or supporting documents or we have chosen not to use that baby-sitting agency. 3) The owner asserts that the babysitter called me several times and just did not leave a message. I do not believe this is true. 4) After texting me "as soon as you remove your yelp statement i will be happy to refund our 20.00 fee for scheduling n canceling a sitter," she did go ahead and refund the fee. To be clear, I did not request this refund. 5) The owner has told me multiple times by text message that she is contacting an attorney "in reference to slander and disrupting business on false pretenses."

They offered a tour of the facilities which where very clean and organized. We made a preliminary grooming appointment before the boarding and my dogs were treated like royalty. They did a great job grooming them and keeping them comfortable while they were in their care. Their prices for grooming and boarding where very competitive. We look forward to having our dogs cared for while we are on vacation. Thank you guys for all your hard work.

Truly appreciated the peace of mind to know that they are so dedicated to their business and the pets and pet parents they serve. The grooming services are also very good.

As soon as meeting the owner he said to me - the dog cannot come, there are things growing in that coat. I explained to him that the dog has never had fleas, is on monthly flea prevention and this was the dogs natural coat. I offered to show up the AKC information page about the dog, he said no. He asked no questions, rather made a judgement because I have a rare breed dog he has never seen before. I am used to a level of unprofessionalism in this area, but this was tops. Also, the dog day care is not really day care. They are indoors in a small fenced in area (this is a store front). Do not recommend.

They don't care about you or your animals. Then the receptionist and vet will have no problem telling you to go to the welfare vet if you can't afford it. Now I understand why so many people are abandoning their pets. You'll wait forever to see the vet, and with all the madness you'll NEVER get a full reasonable vet who cares about your pet.
