NCFC took care of that issue and became my first choice for regular servicing and numerous other repairs over the years. I always considered the charges fair and the service excellent. The most recent service (3/2016) included replacement of timing belt, tensioner, water pump etc. I knew this would likely be expensive so obtained quotes from other local repair shops (Norwalk - Stamford) and the VW dealer in Stamford NCFC quoted $200 more than the cheapest repair shop and $700 less than the dealer. Aside from knowing NCFC would do the job well I was happy to spend a few extra $$ to support a local business that helps pay my property taxes. Thank you Neal and everyone at New Canaan Foreign Car.

There was a fabulous ABT modified Audi, a Murcielago in for what looked like a major, and a few other fine German, English, and Italian marques. The people here are great, too. Friendly, knowledgeable... exactly what you want in a nice shop to take care of your fine motor car. ;) I didn't have an appointment, but rolled in on a random Thursday. Ok, very frustrating, but I rescheduled AND called back to CONFIRM that they knew what vehicle they were replacing. They said yes, all set. Then, on the morning of the second appointment, the tech called me and said, "Okay, so it will be $651." Yes, almost THREE HUNDRED DOLLARS more. I called the office and the guy said, "well, it's an FJ Cruiser and it needs special parts." Well no kidding, you knew that from the beginning! What an absolute joke and waste of my time. I brought in my brand-new Red 2026 Model Y Tesla Juniper for paint protection film, knowing all too well that Teslas have notoriously soft paint. I wanted to protect my investment, especially with the brutal NY winter we've been dealing with this year. From road salt to flying rocks, I didn't want to take any chances, so I opted for at least a full front-end PPF immediately. I worked directly with Kyle and Tony, and they were phenomenal. Communication was top-notch, clear, responsive, and detailed at every step of the process. They walked me through everything, set expectations clearly, and delivered exactly what they promised. The quality of their work is outstanding. The film is flawless, the edges are clean, and the car looks incredible while being fully protected where it matters most. On top of that, their pricing was very competitive, especially considering the level of craftsmanship and care involved. What really stood out was the follow-up visit about a week later to ensure everything cured properly. That extra attention to detail shows how much pride they take in their work. Once the weather improves, I'll absolutely be back to finish protecting the rest of the car. If you're looking to protect your vehicle, especially a Tesla, I can't recommend Xclusive Autoworks and Paint Protection enough. Highly, highly recommended.
