The service was prompt & courteous. A problem was discovered that scrapped my entire plan to have 4 balding tires on my truck swapped out with 4 tires I had in storage. I felt sorry that I scuttled a service of this size for them. When presented with a total bill of $30, I countered with an offer of $50 which, of course was accepted. Owning a small business myself, I know what it means to be valued by a customer. -BUT- Rather than running $50 total on the credit card machine, I get a $1.75 service charge slapped on it as well. This once again reminded me that no good deed goes unpunished. Future business of mine will be going to any of their other competitors. Upper management should reacquaint the new location's personnel with the finer points of transactional etiquette. read more

What great fortune to have found this business. From start to finish my experience was everything I could want! Alex met me as I entered their shop with friendliness, honesty (I am very good at reading people), flexibility and immediate effective action. I had a flat and they discovered I had a slow leak in a second tire due to a thin nail (I knew something was wrong because I was having to fill the tire with air every few days). They fixed the tire with the slow leak and we just kept the spare tire on that I had put on until they could order and get the new tires I needed...which they were able to get for the next day. But they took care of what needed attention so I could drive my car until I could bring it in two days later to put on the new tires. And they didn't charge me for any of their time. He just did what needed to happen until they had the new tires for my car so I could keep rolling. And the new set of tires he recommended while not the top of the line, which he would have done if I wanted, we're perfect for what I needed: all weather and good in the snow...all for considerably less than I expected to pay. Their shop doesn't have a big fancy waiting room with a pop corn machine so they don't pass on the extra expense to you. Instead they pass on the savings to you as the customer without jeopardizing fantastic customer service and solid service and products! I've had two slow leaks in different tires repaired here in the last couple of months. In the first case, the leak was found to be a result of corrosion on the rim causing the leak. In the most recent case, it was a puncture. In both instances, Gallito, was fast, effective and professional. Their price was very fair in each case. Got a new tire and wanted the tire to be exactly matching other tires since the car is new. Owner ordered the tire and price matched discount tires. Unfortunately he ordered the incorrect speed rating which I didn't notice until I got home after it was installed. He fixed the issue and ordered the correct tire and replaced it for free. We were headed to Fort Collins from Pine, Colorado for an award ceremony at CSU. Tire indicator light was calling our attention. Unlike others we called, Gallito Tires could see us right away for a check-up. Manny took time from his busy day to look things over and even take the tire & wheel off and tank test it with increased tire pressure to look for leaks. I've never seen any tire seller go to lengths like that to find a leak! Ever, and I'm 56 years old! This was service above and beyond and we REALLY APPRECIATED IT! These guys are for real! These guys were the only ones open on a weekday night. They changed out my flat right away very quickly and it didn't cost me an arm and a leg. Then months later. I was told at Fowler I needed a new tire and they told me the nail was in the center and patched me up. They were honest and didn't make me buy two new tires when it wasn't needed. Stopped for low tire indicator in my car. The technician helped immediately by going through several steps (ie inboard computer gauge, tire pressure). Eventually found nail in suspect tire that hadn't punctured completely. All that diagnostic work, along with nail removal and I was on my way in 15 minutes!!! read more

Snowy day on the front range, and when I called Les Schwab at 9:30 AM to see about getting my winter tires switched in, they told me it was going to be a 3-hour wait. I went to El Gallito instead, and they got me in immediately. The switch was fast, and cheaper than Discount Tire by about $20. I will definitely be going to these guys from now on. read more

Excellent experience overall. I first called based on a google search, I was able to speak with someone immediately. I was able to find the tire (Nokian Hakkepiletta 8 studded winter tires)I wanted and the prices he quoted me on the phone were competitive with online prices and because Gallito Tires is a brick and mortar store they are part of a distribution network to get my tires the next day at no additional cost. On top of that, upon arrival they were able to mount and balance the tires in just under an hour. I really couldn't have asked for better service. The guys in the shop were well groomed, answered my questions, and were nice to me and gf. I highly recommend Gallito tires and will be back in May. Upon inspection there are no scratches in my rims after installation and my seat wasn't moved... don't know what else good I can say about them. Yes they take credit, they speak spanish, and they do have a few seats inside for waiting. P.S. within walking distance is the town's only adult gift and Lingerie shop so going with a friend makes an interesting wait ;) read more

Holy crap. First of all, it's frickin' 18 degrees outside and it's snowing. I filled the tire with my traveling compressor three times yesterday and this morning, it was totally flat. I have stuff I HAVE TO get to tonight. So I call up Gallito Tires, "Can you fit me in to have a slow leak fixed." "Sure, no problem. Come on down." Spend 30 minutes getting tire up to driving pressure. Get to GT and there is one guy ahead of me, getting four new tires on. Well, this is going to take a while. AND they have me pull up as close as I can, keep the frickin garage door open, and pull my tires in the frickin snow!!!! Roofing screw was the culprit. In and out in maybe 20 minutes. As long as I'm in the area and making choices about our tires, they will have a customer. Totally great experience. It is a very tiny place, full of character and life. A few months back I got my tires changed there. A day later, while my husband was driving, a hub cap came off. We weren't able to find it. I notified the Gallito Tires three times and gave them ample time to replace the hubcap. It was obviously not screwed on right. They've had months to find a replacement, but didn't care. This is bad customer service and I won't be back. read more
