have used this salon on many occasions for many years. I've never had any issues or problems, but all it takes is one. Gallery Nail Salon 303 North Dean Raymore Mo. 64083 816-322-4444 I had an appointment on Sunday March 10 for a pedicure and a fill. On Saturday March 16 my index finger began hurting and a small knot appeared. (Pictured attached). On Sunday March 17 my finger was swollen and I couldn't bend it. Went back to salon to see if they would look at the mail. I was told to sit down and wait. Which I did. Waited and waited and then I just left. Monday March 18 was seen my medical staff at Belton Medical Center ER. My index finger was infected swollen and they was afraid the infection would/might affect the tendons in my hand. Was given a pain pill, a shot in my hand to numb my finger and then the doctor on call came in and squeezed the puss out of my finger. The infection went/come through my cuticle and spread to the top of my finger. I was released from the ER after 3 1/2 hrs with two antibiotics, which I have to take for 7 days plus do a follow up with the doctor again. I know accidents happen but this was dangerous for me. I could have loss a finger, I'm taking more pills (I'm a heart patient, I have congestive heart failure). This unnecessary stress isn't helpful.

This was my first time coming here, not sure if I will be returning. The staff was nice but my nails did not come out the way I expected and I unfortunately didn't really realize till I got home and looked closely at my nails. The woman who did my nails left white stuff underneath my acrylics. I asked for a French acrylics and the lines were uneven and not cleaned up. Some of it has already chipped after Just 2 days. I am bummed because I paid $80 just for my hands...

I appreciate all the nice people, but I'm so disappointed when I asked for something and they say, yes they can do it but it ends up looking bad. What I ask for and what I get hardly ever match. I have to go back and ask for a re-do. I go for the convenience and kindness, but the quality of work is poor. I even brought a picture. I know when he saw the colors go on my nails he had to know they were nothing like the picture!

HORRIBLE service and quality. I asked for SHORT French tips and the guy basically refused to and gave me " hombre" and it looked horrible. I ended up paying $85 for something that I hated and didn't ask for. I called 3 times to see if I could get them fixed and no one answered. DO NOT get your nails done here. I ended up fixing them myself since they never tried to call back.

My mom and I came into the salon around 10am on a Saturday, expecting a pretty long wait. We were greeted immediately and staff helped us feel comfortable while we looked at color swatches. The place was packed, but we were only waiting for around 15 minutes. We got to sit together to get pedicures, which were so so relaxing (we opted for the pricier package that came with the wax pour)! My toes and gel manicure came out perfectly! I was able to show the nail tech a photo from Instagram, and she did exactly what I wanted. I'm so happy with how my nails came out, and all of the staff was very friendly and accommodating.

I went with my friend on a Sunday afternoon to get our nails done. We got there around 12:30 and we wanted pedicures and to get our nails done. I wanted a fill and she wanted a full set. We sat at the the front for about 15 minutes before they took us back to get us started on the pedicures. When they started the water my friends water was ice cold and they just left it. We sat there waiting for them to start for 2 hours. Both of our feet were cold and pruning at this time so we eventually took our feet out. Whenever they finally started the pedicure the man that I had was very rude and complaining the whole time. My friends girl that she had started before me and I was finished before her. (He didn't do a very good job and was rushing it). Whenever I went over to get my fill I had showed him the picture of what I wanted and picked out the color that I had chose. Whenever I told him he wasn't doing what I asked and had to restart he rolled his eyes and started huffing very rudely. Whenever my friend was getting her nails done. They didn't do the right color that she had asked for and when she told her girl that was doing her nails she argued with her and said it was. Then when shaping her nails she has filed the side of her finger to make her bleed. It has been a week since I have had these nails and both of my thumb nails have peeled off (started off with just chipping) and my pointer finger is now chipping along with my middle finger. The tip of my right thumb has a chip in the actual acrylic nail. My left hand pinky finger has a chip on the top of the actual acrylic nail. (The pinky was like this when I left the store.) The time that I had gone before this was not a great experience either. The lady that had done my nails had filed the side of my finger and also made it bleed. (It was not the same lady that did my friends nails). Overall will never be going back to this place and very upset that I paid $75 with no discount or anything even with waiting the 2 hours or the student discount they usually give.

Went in 2 hours before closing to be safe as I was a walk in but I was seated and tended to immediately even though place was full. I was extremely pleased with level and quality of service. Nails and toes look great and I was in and out in less than an hour. Staff was pleasant and professional and their work was very well done. Extras like beverages and wine served. TVs to watch but environment is tranquil. New chair and the massage in the chair was great. I felt like I had a spa day. Definitely going back again and again. read more

I keep my nails really short for convenience because of my line of work. I went in today and left with REALLY cute nails, but having had a horrible experience. I wanted to try the new powder thing, but was told I couldn't unless I got acrylic which I REALLY didn't want. I decided to just get gel polish instead and Kevin argued with me for a long while about how I should get acrylic because my nails are too short. He finally agreed to just put gel on my natural nails (and he did a great job) but was silent and rushed because he was notably annoyed with me. To top it off he CHARGED ME for a full set of acrylic with gel polish instead of just a manicure with gel polish. Most expensive manicure ever at $40 LOL. Anyways, after all of the trouble I won't be going back. read more

I would give them Zero stars. I don't trust them. Had a gel pedicure done. I had to go back two times to have a mistake that they made fixed. While they were doing my toes the third time they still wouldn't guarantee their product worked. Wasted two hours of my time and zero compensation. Very poor customer service in my opinion. read more

Safe to say I will not be coming back. This was my second experience with them and both times had extremely long waits with spotty, rude, rushed nail services where the techs were constantly getting up and not paying attention. But for this current experience, I came last week and was given the wrong dip color after waiting for 2.5 hours. I told them it didn't look right and I didn't like it and they just kept going and then sent me on my way. Then had a nail crack within 24 hours and finally break off after 4 days. When I came back in for the fix I recalled the number 176 was the color I had originally gotten but just so happened to check on the pre-done nail sets and noticed that the color that was on my nails was 177. I told the new tech the issue and they did not care at all and also got argumentative and rude asking why I didn't tell them during the service, call, or come within 2 days to tell them the color was wrong (keeping in mind I told them the day they were originally done that it didn't look right.) Oh and to get one nail fixed with this wrong color I waited in the tech chair for an hour before the fix was made. read more

Went in for a pedicure and a new set for my wedding (last minute, walked in). My poor planning came with a price. Got the new set on Saturday, by Monday the nails were all peeling off and cracking. Poor quality work...will not be back, will not recommend it. read more

Called an hour before they closed to make sure they would have time to give me a pedicure (trying to be polite and not keep them over there closing) they said to come on in. I drove up there (in less then 10 mins) and the door was locked with customers inside and they all just looked at me. Was rude. Won't be back. read more

Had gotten a mani/pedi gel manicure on Saturday, by Wednesday 4 of my nails have lifted. The nail tech was talking on his phone the entire time. I type on a keyboard all day so this shouldn't happen. This isn't the first time I've been to this salon and have this happen. Most likely will not return here. read more

I can in with two eyebrows, and left with one and a half. At first I was so in shock when she handed me the mirror that I didn't know what to say. And then when I asked her to fix it.... OH WAIT SHE CANT BECAUSE HALF MY EYEBROW IS GONE. Ended up going home and spending almost an hour trying to fill my eyebrows in to look even. read more

Horrible. Screwed my pedicure up twice in one sitting n my pinkie fingernail fill lifted the same day. Left crying on my birthday n went to other nail salon to get it fixed. Called the next day and asked for owner, I got the run around n hung up on multi times. Finally some lady who claimed to be owner sister called me back and I told her the situation n she said go up for refund. I get up there and manger Kelly became hostile and wouldn't refund my money. After agruing about the owners sister telling me to go back up there for refund she still refused to give me full refund and only half. I got tired n agreed so I could leave. I have been getting my nails done since I was 16 and never have seen such poor service....let alone left a nail salon crying on my birthday. I spent 70 dollars for poor work and poor service and then 20 dollars for nail salon down the street to fix and they only refunded me 30 dollars. Thanks for ruining my birthday. read more

All the other workers were nice except for the older lady who did my nails the other day. She did a great job, thats why I gave it two stars. For one, she kept pressuring me into getting gel on top of acrylic, I said I didn't have enough money and she insisted my nails would look horrible without it. She also said the color I picked out was horrible and was I asked for a better color she said "I wouldn't know because I don't know who you are" Okay lady. She also kept hitting my hand saying I was hard to work with because I wouldn't relax my hand. How can I relax my hand when you're putting it in impossible positions to relax in? I was also with a friend and she said she witnessed her pointing back at me and talking with her coworkers while I was washing my hands. One of the other workers came up and looked at my nails, I turned around and smiled. "Nice color" and started talking in her language to the woman who did my nails. read more

Jamie is wonderful to chat with while she cuts your hair, she listens to what you want and she works with what nature gave you in order to enhance your natural attributes. I so appreciated a hairstylist that didn't want to color my hair, and actually affirmed my natural hair color, worked with my hair and its texture and gave me a professional cut that makes me look and feel great. I now know why a number of women that I have met in Belton go to The Village Salon. Oh, and did I mention that the prices for these professional services that would put any salon in KC to shame, are easy on the budget. I know I have found my new salon and look forward to my next return.

5 stars - Daisy is the reason I keep coming back! I've been coming to this salon for a long time because the overall service is great, but the first time I noticed Daisy, it was because of her setup...everything was pink! Pink gloves, pink armrests... it caught my eye right away (especially since pink is my favorite color). I could tell she was new, but something about her energy stood out. I decided to give her a try, and I've been booking with her every three weeks ever since. Let me just say: Daisy nails it every single time. I can bring her any design, no matter how detailed or trendy, and she is always excited to try it. And not only does she try...she exceeds my expectations every time. I've had so many people stop me just to compliment her work...sometimes even grabbing my hands to get a closer look! Beyond her talent, Daisy is just an amazing person to be around. She makes you feel comfortable and cared for, like you're her priority while you're in her chair. She's accommodating with scheduling, even staying late or shifting things around when she can to fit me in. Her work ethic, attention to detail, and kindness make her an absolute gem. I go in once every 3-4 weeks to have my nails filled. My first experience with artificial nails was at another salon and they completely butchered them- they looked 2 weeks old when I was leaving the salon! I went to gallery the next day fully prepared to pay full price to have them redone... they did it for 1/2! I've been going here about 4 months now and I'm always so happy. They "insure" their work for up to 7 days but I've never had to test that theory because mine always look great and I can make them last a full month unless I just get tired of the color and want them done sooner. I work in childcare and use tons of bleach, constantly washing my hands, and moving shelves and toys around and the polish or nails never chip or break. They're cheaper than other places around for better quality work! The workers are all friendly and I've never waited more than 15 minutes, even on a Saturday afternoon with no appointment. This is the only place I'll ever go! read more

Worst set of acrylic nails I've ever got. 5 of them were pulling up from the cuticle end after a week. Felt like they were going to end up ripping off. Didn't have time to get back til 2 weeks. He said they'd fix for free. Then get started and lady tells me $60 after picking a color. Then this guy says we have a 6 day warranty which he could not show me documentation to prove. I was then refused service for insisting they fix free of charge as I paid $70 for new set and tipped "Mike" $20 for this bs and was told when I came in to ask if they would fix for free after having them for only 2 weeks that they would make it right. First and last time I will ever give my business to Gallery Nails. Was cussed at as I exited the building, harassed! Left with polish removed and half the acrylic buzzed off and one hand shortened in length. Never again!!! read more

Would not recommend this place to anyone... they are rude, talk about customers, make jokes (about ethnicity, older people, skin tone, and appearance) and very unprofessional...
