And then a different nail broke off 4/21. They replaced my dip with tip for acrylic. Well, today another nail broke. I am not rough on my nails, I baby them. I never get my nails done but my fiancé surprised me for our 1 year anniversary. And we are going on a trip, which I wanted them to look nice but the quality is terrible! I am disabled and getting around is difficult. I deal with chronic pain. So coming in 3 times not only wastes time, it's very hard for me to do. Now my real nails are ruined! I tried to get a refund but one of the guys that works there was very confrontational and disrespectful. He blamed me but said a lot of people have to come back in to get nails fixed. They did not take accountability for it either. They don't have quality product or workers. Very disappointing. Take your business elsewhere or save your money. read more

Gallery Nails is pretty reliable for a basic and affordable mani/pedi combo. While they are always busy, they usually get you in very quickly. It has started to become a bit dated in there, but they have plenty of seating. Knocking them down a star because I felt like the tech did rush my gel a little bit and would sometimes stop the light with 10 seconds left. While the nails probably only do need to cure for 30 seconds, I prefer to play it safe with gel. read more

have used this salon on many occasions for many years. I've never had any issues or problems, but all it takes is one. Gallery Nail Salon 303 North Dean Raymore  Mo. 64083 816-322-4444 I had an appointment on Sunday March 10 for a pedicure and a fill. On Saturday March 16 my index finger began hurting and a small knot appeared. (Pictured attached).  On Sunday March 17 my finger was swollen and I couldn't bend it.  Went back to salon to see if they would look at the mail.  I was told to sit down and wait.  Which I did.  Waited and waited and then I just left. Monday March 18 was seen my medical staff at Belton Medical Center ER. My index finger was infected swollen and they was afraid the infection would/might affect the tendons in my hand. Was given a pain pill, a shot in my hand to numb my finger and then the doctor on call came in and squeezed the puss out of my finger. The infection went/come through my cuticle and spread to the top of my finger. I was released from the ER after 3 1/2 hrs with two antibiotics, which I have to take for 7 days plus do a follow up with the doctor again. I know accidents happen but this was dangerous for me.  I could have loss a finger, I'm taking more pills (I'm a heart patient, I have congestive heart failure).  This unnecessary stress isn't helpful. read more

The staff was nice but my nails did not come out the way I expected and I unfortunately didn't really realize till I got home and looked closely at my nails. I went in to do my nails, and even from the start I can tell she was leaving lumps on my nails. I tried telling her and she would just knod her head when she started putting color on. It was so bad and I tried telling her and she proceeded to just not her head, I pointed it out and she would just put my hand inside the light. I would not be returning here. read more

I'm not sure what has happened to this shop. I have went there for years and loved it. I left the state for 3 months and when I went back during a visit, EVERYONE was new. From the cutting me 4 different times to jerking, pushing and pulling my hands all over the place, the experience was less than ideal. The gel polish was applied wrong, but at that point I felt lucky to just get out with all my fingers. I'm not sure but I'm thinking this has turned into a training shop. I don't have issues with that, but they need to be up front and cut their prices while training. read more

I have always received wonderful service here. The technician I prefer is Ethan and he is the best I have found in Belton/Raymore! He is very patient, knowledgeable, and friendly. He always makes sure I leave his chair happy; I've never had a set done by him that I didn't LOVE. I've gone here 3 times. The first time was for a birthday it was a very nice party so I went to get my nails done the lady I had had messed up on a simple heart design and had gotten the polish all on my cuticle and skin. I had decided to go a second time because I wanted to have them done a pretty. The Second Lady I had way great the nails stayed in for weeks they felt great and the polish was where it needed to be,I loved them. I went a third time and had the same lady as the first. The nails where terrible they all came off within about 4 days without her me even biting them. My mom and I came into the salon around 10am on a Saturday, expecting a pretty long wait. We were greeted immediately and staff helped us feel comfortable while we looked at color swatches. The place was packed, but we were only waiting for around 15 minutes. We got to sit together to get pedicures, which were so so relaxing (we opted for the pricier package that came with the wax pour)! My toes and gel manicure came out perfectly! I was able to show the nail tech a photo from Instagram, and she did exactly what I wanted. After getting home I noticed my toes and nails were different colors when I picked the same color for both. I am very disappointed in my service. I went with my friend on a Sunday afternoon to get our nails done. We got there around 12:30 and we wanted pedicures and to get our nails done. I wanted a fill and she wanted a full set. We sat at the the front for about 15 minutes before they took us back to get us started on the pedicures. When they started the water my friends water was ice cold and they just left it. We sat there waiting for them to start for 2 hours. Both of our feet were cold and pruning at this time so we eventually took our feet out. Whenever they finally started the pedicure the man that I had was very rude and complaining the whole time. My friends girl that she had started before me and I was finished before her. (He didn't do a very good job and was rushing it). Whenever I went over to get my fill I had showed him the picture of what I wanted and picked out the color that I had chose. Whenever I told him he wasn't doing what I asked and had to restart he rolled his eyes and started huffing very rudely. Whenever my friend was getting her nails done. They didn't do the right color that she had asked for and when she told her girl that was doing her nails she argued with her and said it was. Then when shaping her nails she has filed the side of her finger to make her bleed. It has been a week since I have had these nails and both of my thumb nails have peeled off (started off with just chipping) and my pointer finger is now chipping along with my middle finger. The tip of my right thumb has a chip in the actual acrylic nail. My left hand pinky finger has a chip on the top of the actual acrylic nail. (The pinky was like this when I left the store.) The time that I had gone before this was not a great experience either. The lady that had done my nails had filed the side of my finger and also made it bleed. (It was not the same lady that did my friends nails). Overall will never be going back to this place and very upset that I paid $75 with no discount or anything even with waiting the 2 hours or the student discount they usually give. read more

I'm not crazy about this place. They do an ok job. They are in such a hurry to get you in and out to get to the next person that they miss steps and/or don't do it like you wanted. I got dipping powder on my nails and they are SUPER thick and corners are glued down to my skin. I asked about it and they told me to wash my hands. Went in for a gel pedi / mani. Never got the mani. While filling up the basin for the foot soak, she turned the jets on too soon spraying water all over me. I did get an apology but they didn't even offer a discount for making me look like I had been through a human car wash with no air dry. Appointments mean nothing. 3 weeks ago I had a scheduled appt with a specific tech, because the most awesome tech Elle left the business. As we arrived, the gentleman that greeted us was rude about our arrival time. we "showed up early" (15 min before our appt time) he sat us at dirty tables to wait to be put into the pedicure chairs. Both people who did our pedicures seemed irritated and kept rolling their eyes after we would answer their questions because we only wanted basic pedicure vs deluxe. Neither one of our gel finger nails lasted more than a day. It's been a week and they're horribly chipped like normal nail polish, not like gel should have turned out. Literally do not go here. I have went here on and off forever, but it had been awhile and I will N E V E R go back. First, I made an appointment for my friend and I. I asked THREE TIMES to two people to sit us NEXT to eachother as we only were doing this to catch up and pamper. They then sat us one seat apart and five minutes later sat a women between us so we literally couldn't talk to eachother. The older woman who did my nails was SO SLOPPY. She kept filing the back half of my nails and trying to redo the sloppy polish but failed miserably. They were so thick and uneven. The third redo another woman came and took over. She rushed through to make them look "decent". After one week the gel is chipping off, corners of my nails are broken and lifting, I'm SO unhappy and wish I could get my money back. I am embarrassed I invited my friend here as her nails were also uneven, lumpy, and overall not satisfying. I'm super pregnant and after three redos all I wanted to do was LEAVE! I started going to Gallary Nails after I moved to Belton, in May. I was a satisfied customer. The last 2 visits I was not satisfied. My gel polish started to puff up. I went back and they said it was the Gel Lamp that caused the polish to puff up. I went back, this time, 3 people serviced me. One started cutting my nails down, when she got to the 6th nail, she jumps up to help another customer, a 2nd lady came and started filing my nails. I told her the other lady wasn't finished cutting down my nails, she said "I Know" and kept filing...and then cut my nails down at the end, not saying word (in English) jumps up and helps someone else. A 3rd person polished them and afterwards the Gel polish puffed up and cracked. Needless to say, I'm looking for new nail salon in Belton. read more

I have been going to this salon for almost two years and absolutely love it. Every now and then I get someone new who doesn't do as good of a job, but most often I get a fabulous mani/pedi! If something is not right I ask them to fix it and they do it for free. It took me a while to be okay with the non-English conversation, but once I got over myself and realized that just like anyone else, conversation occurs in the language that is most comfortable and that is most comfortable for them, I was fine and they make me feel very welcome every time I come in and converse with me a lot! Hands down the worst nail salon I've ever been too. A girl friend and I went in to get pedicures done and she got dip as well. It was all fine until I told the woman who was doing my toes that all I wanted was a basic pedicure with REGULAR polish. I don't need all the extra stuff with deluxe, I'm perfectly fine with regular polish and quite honestly, I don't really see a difference in the two. This lady who did my toes was very unprofessional, kept asking me over and over if I want deluxe pedicure, or if I want gel. If you guys are that desperate for money, then erase the basic pedicure off the menu!!! Anyways, I proceeded to tell her AGAIN what I wanted but she didn't respect that. She pushed my feet back in the water so hard, it hurt. She almost cut the top of my toe with the cheese grader looking thing. When I saw another lady who was working there with a pretty nail polish on, I asked her if it came in regular and she said yes! I then told my lady that I wanted it she she was trying to manipulate me by saying "oh no she has gel, do you want gel?" I believe she asked me a total of 7 times if I wanted gel or deluxe. Also, my friend got her nails done, and left there bleeding because the lady screwed up her cuticles so bad. Really needed a pedicure in a pinch so I stopped by. Unfortunately the acetone smell greeted me at the door. I am sensitive to strong chemical smells, but pushed through because I did not have time to drive across town to my normal favorite. Everyone was courteous, the facility looked to be well maintained. My technician was proficient and skilled. She gave a wonderful exfoliating leg and foot massage, followed by a massage with lotion and oil mixed. The polish and finish were immaculate. However the speed bump came at the end when there was no drying station. I had to leave in cold weather with foam flip flops. To avoid ruining my feet I just drove home instead of continuing my errands. Bummer. Cut the fumes, add a drying station and I will consider returning. read more

I've gone there for three years and you can't beat the price. I even took my infant with me every two weeks for five months. One evening my friend and I went in for our fill. Everything was fine and I was waiting (30 minutes past my apt time) in the waiting area. I breastfed my son, covered I might add, so he would continue to stay calm. He's always been calm and collected and stays in his carrier at my appointments except one time when I held him during a pedicure. My friend was having her nails done by the guy in seat 1 and she stayed that as soon as I started breastfeeding, he told her that someone else needed to watch my baby if I came to do my nails. That I wouldn't be allowed to have my nails done if I brought him to the table with me (in his car seat or not). He stopped doing her nails halfway through and called me over to start on mine. He was extremely hostile towards me and asked why I came in so soon if my nails were hardly grown out. He also asked why I didn't have someone watch my baby while I came there. Every time another tech came over he would speak to them sternly in another language and would point at my baby and I. He asked again if someone else could watch my baby so my friend could finish her nails. At this point I felt extremely unwanted and left with my acrylics not even half done. Loved loved loved!!!! Went to relax!! Because I needed to destress had mani/pedi and the woman was so nice and good.. she didn't clip my cuticles to where they bled like other people. Then when I did my feet the other women.. OMG!!! She went beyond her job massaging my toes, and feet!! I was so relaxed in the chair I almost fell asleep. I go there to relax not to be talked to and they understand that. They know the perfect type of customer service because the customer next to me and pedicurist were talking up a storm just laughing and she was giving her customer what she wanted.. read more
