Rare I give a breakfast place 5 stars maybe I haven't done it yet but Galleria so far is my number 1 . My Sunny side up eggs where Cooked perfectly most places get it wrong people who eat eggs like me should know what what I mean , was not greasy or full of that egg slime. My waiter was great very help answer all my questions my coffee was full when needed and my water as well. I ate all my potatoes they were perfectly seasoned most of the time I don't eat my potatoes at any place so there's that. My crêpe was really good it's made with there own Cream cheese. I got no complaints about my experience well deserved 5 stars. read more

A few coworkers and I opted to have brunch at Galleria. I haven't been to Galleria in years so I didn't know what to expect. The last time I came was about 10 years ago with a very mediocre breakfast experience being the last thing I remembered. I've driven past the place for years now and I always wondered if I should give it another chance.... and I finally did! Firstly, the place is very nice and modern. Seating is excellent and they have a big terrace. It's no dump. The service we got was friendly and efficient. When one coworker ordered something (in this case, a specific burger), they were informed it would take longer... and it did. They estimated 5 minutes longer than the rest... and it was. When he served us, he reminded her and made sure it wasn't a big deal. This was appreciated. I went with their Combo 5 and strawberry Italian soda. I'm always a fan of Italian styled sodas but for some reason, this particular brand fell flat to me... it simply didn't taste like much. The Combo 5 plate consists of a full breakfast.... such as eggs, potatoes, banana chocolate crepe, toast, fruits and sausages. There's some variety that can be chosen if someone I mentioned doesn't suit you. The plate was very good with everything meeting and exceeding expectations. It was a very nice breakfast accompanied with solid service. My only gripes beyond the mediocre Italian soda is that the price tag is higher than the average you'll find elsewhere. I think this can play a part since the breakfast competition in Laval was boomed in the last 10 years with new players in the game. If your price is higher than the others.... you better made sure the quality is there. Another issue for me is that parking here is non-existent. Very small parking lot with nothing available nearby on the street. You'll find yourself parking up a block to come here an eat.... that's an issue. read more

"Eat glitter for breakfast and shine all day" or set more realistic meal goals and come to this fantastic spot.. not only is the food amazing but the feel of the restaurant with the friendly staff and spacious ambiance makes this place a great way to start your day. Always a short wait time, the owner even came outside to get us when our table was ready, rather than being money hungry and rushed to flip tables and give it to someone else-which is probably what your below average breakfast place would do considering the inexpensivness of the meals. Great place to go for breakfast! My meal was delicious (casserole galleria) and was the perfect serving size to fill me, but not to the point of discomfort / having to waste food. Prices were very reasonable. The server was very kind (a man, I didn't catch his name) and made an effort to speak to us in English after hearing our bad French accents haha. Considering those days are long gone and the fact that most youngsters and hipsters prefer to venture elsewhere for their nightcap, the transition to a breakfast and lunch bistro is a smart makeover. The location and wide windows in the restaurant make it a nice, relaxing place to enjoy your breakfast and coffee. Menu options are humble, nothing extraordinary, with the exception of their specialty coffees which I particularly like. The servers are polite and attentive who come around the table quite frequently to refill any missing coffee or water. My recommendation: to the brave who dare to try something new and unorthodox (such as myself), it would be advisable to stay away from the cassolette. When one reads the menu, this unfamiliar breakfast dish is presented as a delightful rarity that is a guaranteed to savour any palette. In reality, it is a mixture of various ingredients (chopped green peppers and ham), breakfast potatoes, cheese, and hollandaise sauce. Last time I checked, this is reminiscent of what most people call, The Poutine (breakfast version). For a morning meal, it is very heavy on the stomach; it sits in your digestive tract like a ton of bricks. In addition, they serve it so bloody hot that you need to wait 30 minutes before eating, to say the least. This casserole is so blistering hot that it makes molten lava seem like a lukewarm bath fit for a newborn baby's gentle skin in comparison. Thank goodness for the ice cubes lingering in my glass of water nearby. In conclusion, this breakfast place is a clean, hospitable eatery to enjoy a nice meal with family or friends - just stick to what you know instead of bravely experimenting with the unknown. read more
