A short update - if you read my previous review, you'll see another company did our main home's roof in 2018... and now it's clear they made a few mistakes along the way. Having had such a great experience with Salvador and crew on our shed and outbuilding re-roofing project, I called them out to fix the chimney flashing work that the other roofer performed. Wesley (who, if I remember correctly, was the foreman on our outbuilding job) came out about a week after I reached out to properly fix the other company's mistake. After seeing the pictures, I am confident we have the right repair up there. Pricing, as usual, was very reasonable and a good value. And, as a side note - the work they did on the outbuildings has held up for three seasons very well. We had a bit of a tricky situation with the larger outbuilding, which required some clever engineering on their part to get water to drain off a gently sloped porch roof. The custom metal work they did for the gutters has worked very well to get water where it needs to go. They are "our" roofers going forward and assuming they are around whenever we need to re-roof or get a repair (which, hopefully... is a long way's off) - they will be my first contact. read more

I solicited 6 bids for a roof replacement and Gallardo's estimate was very detailed, and included pictures of the problem areas along with detailed explanations of what will be replaced. I have 2 dogs and I was concerned about the cleanup aspect (nails on the ground), but the Gallardo team cleaned up at the end of each day (others will wait until the job is done), but this wasn't an issue at all! I got a daily status mail that included pictures of how the job was going, which I greatly appreciated as I am a detail oriented type of person! Salvador and his team came out to help us with a leaking roof that was coming into the front of our house. He responded quickly to temporary patch it and was super communicative about repair dates. We had water leaking into the house from two areas of the roof during heavy rains. Salvador and his professional crew did a full roof and gutter replacement on our house. The work they did was amazing. In preparing the estimate, Salvador personally got up on the roof and into the attic to inspect the roof, gutters and attic and noted several serious problems with the work done when the house was built, especially with the roof. The other two companies that provided estimates did not come close to the level of detail and attention that Salvador provided. Although Salvador's estimate was not the least expensive, the thoroughness of his review convinced us that his company was the best choice. The crew worked full days every day, including the weekend, for seven days. It's hard to imagine how things could have gone smoother or more quickly. Everything looks great and is working perfectly so far with no more leaks after a couple of downpours. Salvador's commitment to customer service was outstanding. Several years ago, we had a problem with rats getting into the attic, which was caused by the builder's faulty and defective roof construction. Salvador had some ideas about how to fix that problem more permanently, which went above and beyond the typical roof replacement. He also noticed that the builder did not install a "chimney cricket," which diverts water away from the chimney to prevent damage to the chimney and water leaks, so he installed a proper chimney cricket. In addition, the gutter specialists installed a few new downspouts in heavy water areas to reduce the chances of any further roof leaks. We had a leak that seemed to come from an air vent during a very heavy rain in December 2020. Salvador was able to come out a week later and give me a quote. He was worth the wait. He scanned the roof with a drone, went into the crawl space to determine the exact location of the leak, and was able to give me several quotes for varying degrees of work that could be done, not only to solve the immediate problem, but also to extend the life of the roof. I went with an option that had his crew swap out all of the vents that were in various stages of failure and also replace the shingles that were cracked or missing. They did the work on January 26, 2021, and he sent me 'before and after' pictures with the final bill.
