I had a Mani and pedi. Staff is pleasant and polite. The shop is neat and clean and helpful in choosing enamels.

I have been going here for about 2 years now for a filling & nobody compares!! They're amazing!

Very accurate nails but not creative or imaginative I get great ones down in Florida. Ombré being the best. Thank you Mimi!

Galaxy does a great job with my occasional mani/pedi. They even take me as a walk-in.

Fantastic service on a busy Friday before the holidays. I was able to receive a dip manicure and a spa pedicure and felt completely relaxed the entire time! They all care about their clients and it really shows!! read more

perfect pedicure every time. i get acrylic on my big toes & it's wonderful. they take their time!

very nice staff. my friends mom swears by this salon for their pedicures which i need to try next time ! i am so picky about my finger nails - i would say the basic gel manicure i got is 6/10. the shapes of my nails aren't consistent and my pinky nail has a ripple in the polish. but it's staying on very well and doesn't feel weird growing out. read more

I have been using Galaxy Nails for over a decade. The staff are all very friendly, efficient and they do good work. I've recommended others, who have also stayed on after trying Galaxy, because of the service. Nina, the owner, typically applies my gel manicures and she's always thorough even when they're busy, and the results are great. Parking is never an issue, and pricing is comparable to local market. Their new location is convenient, organized/inviting. They have ample seating for pedicures, provide waxing and other services. My favorite go-to combo is a 15 minute (chair) massage while receiving my gel manicure. (I like to multitask...) read more

amazing nail salon! Nina did my fill and really took her time making sure my nails were perfect. They began getting very busy and even with all the people walking in, she didn't rush my fill to get to the next customer. She was so sweet and i'm looking forward to going back to her read more

Never managed to get a service even though I called to make the appointment over a week ago. I explained on the phone that I would be moving into the area, looking for a new salon that did excellent gel-fills and manis and had a good nail design tech. I was reassured they had just what I needed and I even agreed to change my preferred time so I could get their best design artist. Today, I drove over an hour, killed time until their chosen appointment time arrived. walked in early for this appointment and was told they were too busy to do designs. Even though i have a rather complicated design on my fingers now, I showed her that I had saved some very simple patterns (ie, one wavy line!) and all the women ganged up, yelling, "Too hard! Too much work!" I spend a ton of money at a nail salon, but it won't be at this one. read more

I decided to take my mother here for pedicures as a treat for her birthday and chose this place being it was the only place I could find open on a Sunday. We typically go to Elite Nails in Whitehouse Station which is a delight (see my Yelp review for further details if you're curious) but they are closed Sundays. First impressions when you walk in are not too promising. I think the set up is very awkward and everything is in such close quarters that it's impossible to have a personal conversation. The person who was taking care of my mother's feet was a little rough in the beginning and she had to tell the woman to be more gentle. Unfortunately, she didn't seem to understand until finally the person taking care of me explained to her my mom's concern. I really can't stand language barriers when getting services done (although it is much expected in this type of environment), but putting that aside, the overall quality of service was merely mediocre. At one point the person taking care of my feet brought to my attention that my feet were really yellow on one side and that she never saw anything like it. Immediately, I was concerned but when I looked at the side of my foot, I didn't notice any discoloration. It was very strange to say the least. My mother glanced over equally confused. Then you have all the women who are around getting their pedicures done overhearing this whole conversation and it was one of those, "Is this really happening right now?" kind of moments. Not sure if I'd personally step foot in this place again (pardon the pun) but my mom seemed somewhat happy towards the end and at that point, that's all that truly mattered! :) read more

It was very busy and the girls squeezed me in any how. I was concerned because three different technicians worked on my nails to complete the job. To my surprise my nails are amazing. They look so beautiful. Clearly these girls work very well together! Great pricing for gels and they really listen to want you want. Will be back again and again. Thank you ladies read more

Galaxy Nails is normally my preferred salon. The staff is friendly and they mostly do a great job. The 35-minute ride is usually worth it. Unfortunately that was not the case yesterday. There seemed to be some confusion regarding my appointment. Finally I was shown to a seat, got settled, and then asked to move. It seems there was a problem with the water. Moving to my second seat, I noticed there were four or five new massage chairs. I was excited to try one out. I sat down and was unpleasantly surprised to find the chair didn't work. It was jammed in a position where the roller balls were frozen and jutting into the small of my back like two giant thumbs. The chair was also way too close to the basin, so my legs were at a terrible angle. Incredibly uncomfortable! I asked about fixing the chair and the nail tech fiddled around with it a bit to no avail. I was clearly uncomfortable and annoyed, but there wasn't much to be done about it. All the other chairs were occupied. During the course of my pedicure, some of neighboring chairs started to fail. I assumed it was an electrical problem. At this point, there were several unhappy customers and the language barrier between staff and customers didn't help matters. The scrub, polish and massage were fine. My bill came to $35 and I asked for change for a twenty for a tip. The employee returned with two tens. There was no way I was leaving an almost thirty percent tip after that experience. I had to ask for two fives. On the way out, I mentioned how disappointing and uncomfortable I found the experience. A half-hearted apology was all I was offered. I left unsatisfied and annoyed, with a sore back. Oh well... I will give Galaxy another try. This is my first unpleasant experience there, so hopefully it was just an off day. read more

If I could select "no stars" I would. Very unprofessional and way overpriced. I had used their services before they relocated to CHurch Street and they were professional and pricing was comparable to other nail salons. BUT one trip to this new location was so disappointing that I felt compelled to let others know. Their pedicurist appear to be untrained and receiving go while you learn type training. The manicurist said she understood what I wanted (basically the same French as I had). The end result was close, but not as clean as the other manicurist I had used (who moved). And they charged $125!!! Last time there for me. read more

Amazing Manicure & Pedicure! Was able to walk in an be greeted right away. Everyone was so friendly. Amazing option of colors for both gels and regular polish. Environment is neat and clean an very sterile. I got a Spa Pedicure and I just can't wait to go back with my mom and friends! What a treat! read more

This place is absolutely terrible. Took my grandmother here for girls day out, and after they made fun of her feet in a foreign language and laughed at her I got the worst pedicure of my life complete with freezing water and getting cut all over my feet ! Worst service ever I will NEVER be back. read more

I have been going to Galaxy nails for about 3 years and I have been very happy with the service. I usually just walk in and someone always has time for me within a few minutes. Nina is the manager and even though I go about once every 3 weeks or a month, she always knows me when I call and greets me by name. Everyone there is good except there was one person I just didnt click with. When I let the manager know, she remembers and even if I walk in she will take over instead of having that particular person help me. They also have instruments they take from a sterilizer package and when I was there last week besides all of the other things they do (lotion, a massage when done) they have this hand scrub they massage in your hands. I like that they are open Sundays and would not consider going any place else. read more

The girls are soo nice there... best place for a pedicure.. the spa is clean and well kept.. I love getting my heels done here very once in while, they always do a good job read more

Worst salon I've been on , i paid $50 for acrylics only, the short lady didn't prep my nails and didn't cut my cuticles, i showed her what i wanted and here's what i got , i asked for coffin nails and got odly shaped nails , the acrylic layer for the nails was so thin my nails broke after 4 DAYSS , they close at 7:00 pm it was 6:30 and everyone was leaving already and making fell like i obligated to leave . Someone was gonna pay for my nails and they were not at the store the ladies kept asking if i had the money and if they person that was gonna pay was going to be here soon( she was running an errand) , they made me feel like i was going to rob them . I FEEL ROBBED AND THE WAY MY NAILS CAME OUT IS HORRIBLE ( im going to insert photos) DON'T recommend it here. For someone that has experience and knowledge of nails the experience, application and service is horrible here , so disappointed read more

Originally went here because it was open on Sundays. That was 2 years ago and have been going back ever since. I go for mani, pedi, and waxing. Easy to get an appt., usually never a wait time, and have even done drop in on several occasions. Love the massage chairs. There is a slight language barrier but that has never affected the final product. read more

I brought my mom here to get pedicure and they turned out horribly. They rushed the process and they didn't even take off all my moms nail polish. When I was trying my nails, I felt my heel and skin was just hanging. I had to go home and touch them off. Worst salon ever DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE. read more

I just moved to Flemington and have been trying to find a good nail salon. This is not the place. After waiting for almost 30 minutes, I had a terrible mani pedi. She hardly filed my nails or pushed/cut my cuticles. When she did file my nails I had to ask her to fix 4 of them because they were uneven and chipped. I felt like the whole experience was rushed even though there was no one waiting. Needless to say, I won't be returning. read more

I have been going to Elite for years. Since the move to their new modern facility I feel they may have lost some clients that may not know here they moved to. The women there are lovely. Especially Maria and the other girls. They are sweet and lovely. I always just do a walk in as my schedule s too busy to plan around. The facility is spotless and I like how hey take the instruments out of the sterilizer. The new massage chairs are too far back for me and hard to reach the front for a pedicure (I am 5'3). I took my Aunt (87) there for a pedi and she felt like a queen and loved the attention she got and enjoyed her day out. read more

This place deserves to be busier than it is. I found it after having a bad experience at a nearby salon (Em Nails). They were amazing! Not many places can do a gel manicure and a pedicure at the same time. They could! Easily and with smiles on their faces. And fast! I was shocked that I was in and out so quickly. My new favorite place! read more

It was horrible. The owner was rushing to get my nails done, she was standing up and was complaining about how long it was going to take to remove my previous nail gel. I ended up leaving after removing two nail polish. Never again. read more

I have been going there since they opened (2008 I think) and I have no complaints. They are always polite, professional and happy to see me. I think I may have had 1 or 2 very minor issues, but if you go back and let them know they are happy to fix whatever it is, no questions asked. I have tried other nail salons in the area, and I'm sticking with Galaxy. read more

Can't keep appointments. Personal and management are rude. If for some reason you still decide to go there, avoid Sundays and ask for Sophia. She is the only one there that knows how to do a pedicure read more

I've been going to Galaxy on and off for about 3 years - I tend to go where it's convenient for me at that time. I have never had a problem and I tend to be a walk in. I have had to wait a few times but that it he nature of the beast when not making an appt. Years ago, I had a gel that broke really, really low and although they didn't do it gladly took me for the repair because I needed the gel clipped away so I didn't start bleeding. I was really appreciative of that. Otherwise, I think it's clean and they are customer focused. I give them a 4 star rating. read more

Galaxy always does a great job with my gel manicures, and with pedicures in the summer. They are very good about trying to accommodate walk-ins, which I always do, so I rarely have to wait. I would highly recommend them! read more

This place will always make time for you. They give great massages while doing nails/feet. The only complaint is that I don't believe the gel stays on that long. I've went to other nails salons and it stays on my nails longer. Other than that this place is great! read more
