Dean, is and always will be a Staple of Wenatchee. Galaxy Comics is a wonderful shop of imagination and wonder. Thank you for the amazing service all of these years. The only comic book shop in town and is the best. The owner Dean is very helpful and polite and knows his comics. I've been going since the 80's and galaxy comics was the only place I could order comics at the time in the valley. This is not your stereotypical angry geek comic book store like from the Simpsons or the magic the gathering store in the same lot where a clique of angry gatekeepers will sneer at you. Please support your local comics book store instead of buying off Amazon who will ship your comics like they just got put through the wood chipper. read more

Dean's been the sole owner of this shop since I got into comics back in 84' one of the friendliest guys you will meet. He will try to get whatever you need and is happy to see you. read more

I've had multiple less than pleasant encounters that I have tried to brush off because there isn't many alternatives in the valley. He has trying to tell me a $60 item was $80, I'm assuming in hopes that I hadn't already looked at the sticker that he put on the box saying $60? Then when I pointed out that the sticker said it was $60, he decided to go on an unprovoked rant and guilt me for buying it because the distributor is hard to work with. I don't work for Bandai, I'm sorry? I also messaged the store Facebook page on a Monday to ask if they would take a trade and he told me that they are closed on Mondays and I should respect that and not message him... Like he is somehow forced to work and couldn't have just checked it the next day? The message wasn't from James Bond, it did not expire after opening and could have been responded to any of the seven days that week. It's not the customer's fault if you don't know how to take a day off? The store is clean but the inventory is very limited and rarely changes. Can't say I recommend stopping by because you'll spend longer walking inside from your car then it takes you to peruse their two shelves. One of which is just filled to the brim with basic Funkos so if that's not your thing... 1 and 1/2 shelves. I support small businesses but not bad business owners. If you were up for a short trip to Leavenworth, I would recommend Krampus Kave which is everything the time capsule wants to be with a much better inventory and more inviting atmosphere. If that's too far, this is the one time I would truly say Amazon is the better option in every way which is really sad because I do not say support Jeff Bezos lightly

There's a huge selection of Magic the Gathering sets to choose from, not just the most recent couple of releases. The prices are right, and Gus is always willing to help you find what you're looking for. My only gripe with the place is the hours. They usually open at 12 (1pm on Sundays), and that's so late. This is a problem with all the hobby shops in town (and elsewhere, I'm sure), so I won't mark him down for it.

The prices were good, the customer service was wonderful, and the whole atmosphere made us feel like it was Christmas in the middle of the year. I picked up a couple of ornaments that I can't wait to use on my tree this holiday season. If you love Christmas and the holidays, this is a must-stop shop in downtown Leavenworth!

After checking the shops in Phoenix a week earlier I had given up hope on finding it. I went into the shop looking to find not much compared to the shops in Phoenix...Music Galore & So Much More had more! Dozens of each, if not hundreds of retro video games and the more pricey games were fairly priced compared to city prices. The owner was more than friendly, and helped my get the game I was looking for. I will be coming back to this store for more games. As the owner, the neat little shop, and the overall experience were much more then what is offered even compared to similar shops in the city. Not to be taken lightly, a solid 5 stars!

My mother-in-law received some bad health-related news so we decided to cheer her up with a…read morebouquet. We don't live in Wenatchee so we found Apple Blossom Floral on Yelp. I placed the order online for a $80-$100 "Beautiful" category arrangement and noted that I would like for it to include some roses. Within 45 minutes, I received a call from Jeanne who informed me that roses meant it will be on the higher end so $100. I told her that was fine. She then proceeded to tell me about peach and yellow roses that she had along with small white spray roses. She seemed somewhat distracted; I could hear some background noise as she was asking other staff about what flowers arrived that morning. When I received the picture of what was delivered, I was very disappointed. There were no peach or yellow roses; only some small white spray roses and others flowers that I felt didn't warrant the $100 price tag (see pic). I called and spoke to Jeanne again. She said there was a misunderstanding and that she told me this morning they DIDN'T have any peach or yellow roses. Ummm....ok. She also said she should have told me their arrangements start at $100. She asked if I wanted for them to go get the bouquet back. Seriously?! Who does that?! Clearly she can sense that I wasn't happy so she offered a make-up 3-rose bouquet. Apparently, 6 roses start at $75 so that was not going to happen. I appreciated the gesture and ask for it to be sent the following week. I understand everything is more expensive nowadays due to inflation but I guess spending $125 on flowers won't get you as much as you think...atleast not at ABF.

My friend lives in Wenatchee so I googled a flower shop in the area and came across this gem. I…read morefilled out their questionnaire on their website and the next morning got a very nice and helpful phone call from a someone that works there. She explained that they can put together a nice spring bouquet, how much it'll cost, that delivery will be that afternoon, and all I had to do was to provide payment over the phone. Then she confirmed the delivery address and phone number of the person it was to and asked if there was any additional message I wanted to add. She said my credit card will be charged later this afternoon, and an invoice will be emailed to me. Although the invoice never came to my email (perhaps wrong email address?), my credit card was charged by Apple Blossom Floral for the amount she had said, and my friend received a beautiful arrangement waiting for her when she came home from work that evening. The entire process was super easy and the woman that called me was very pleasant and nice.
