I went to Galaxy Cleaners to drop off a comforter and witnessed poor customer service from the start. An older gentleman ahead of me was trying to pick up his suit. His total was $18.88, and he handed the cashier a $20 bill. Instead of providing change, the employee told him he needed exact cash. The man was clearly confused, and another customer had to step in and give him change so he could leave with his items. When it was my turn, I asked about the price for cleaning my comforter and was told around $37. I mentioned I had a coupon texted to me and pulled it up, but the employee said it had to be "added to my account." When I asked how, she simply replied, "I don't know." If you're going to send promotional coupons, staff should know how to apply them. And as a business, you should always have change available for customers. GO ELSEWHERE. I wish I had listened to the negative reviews, but unfortunately, I had to learn the hard way. This business fumbled my experience at every step. I brought in a garment for next-day service, which they agreed to. I pointed out a stain on the item, and they said they'd do their best to remove it--but assured me it would still be ready the next day. Today was the scheduled pickup. I called ahead, and they said it would be ready by 2 p.m. When I called again at 2, I was told they didn't even launder it--because of the stain I had already shown them. They then claimed they tried to contact me, which is simply not true. This was a poor experience made worse by the lack of accountability. There was no manager or escalation process available. At minimum, they should've offered to comp the service for wasting my time. That would've shown some sense of responsibility. If they don't start handling customer issues with more care, their already poor reputation will only get worse. read more

I'd been coming here to clean the same 6 items weekly for 4 months and every so often the price I was charged was $13 more. I attempted to give them more business but the owner/manager couldn't even be bothered with letting the attendant know if they could clean my bag or inform them what to change me... for an entire week. In case you are looking for a good cleaning service, this is their quality. A brand new silk shirt was dropped off. What was returned had three broken buttons and looked like I'd slept in it. I was told that they could redo it, but I'd need to pay the $8.63 for the crappy service and then hope they get it right the next time. No redo w/o charge for the inconvenience. Oh and by the way they do not fix the buttons and regardless of my decision, I was going to pay or get would retain my $150 silk blouse. If I chose to take it they would call the police. Needless to say, I paid for everything, took my blouse, and will NEVER BE BACK TO THIS ESTABLISHMENT!!! I arrived at the Goodyear Galaxy Cleaners two minutes before 5 unsure as to when they closed. The door had OPEN on it, so I ran to the door and saw the closing time was 5:pm. With 30 seconds to spare I had made it. The lady at the counter said "we're closing", I said "may I drop off this one item", her reply was "no, we're closing." Tried emailing the issues and photos as I would like a refund, and reimbursement for the ruined dress, but the email feature on their website does not work, and there is no contact listed other than phone, and can't get anyone to pick up phone. I have chronic illness and cannot drive all the items back in person. I dropped off a large dry cleaning order at the Goodyear location. Picked it up yesterday within just an hour or two of getting the text that my items were ready as I was at the doctor just up the street, so it's not like they sat there for long. I had a wool dress that had A DEAD MOTH literally tied into the bag with it attached to the front of the cleaned dress, and there was white moth dust all over the dress. Every item I pick up was super wrinkled on the bottom because they tied the bottom of the bag up way too high. At least 9 or 10 dresses that need to be completely steamed when I got them home. Everything had this very strange and gross dead fish smell, and lastly, I had a cocktail dress with a taffeta skirt that looked like it was covered in either heat or chemical burns. When one of my items was lost, not tagged, unidentifiable it took me a month of repeatedly going into the store asking about it and finally asking for reimbursement before they finally found the item. During that months time I was promised several items that they would call me, which they never did. I hate that I had to get assertive just to get them to bother. COMPLAINT I would not recommend Galaxy Dry Cleaners To anyone. This is the worst Dry cleaner for quality of work and customer service. They lost four items in September 2022--they ruined four things earlier this year. The items that were damaged we're new. I took them when I returned from a cruise. The manager, Lyle, gave me this long story about how previous management were screw-ups and how he would make it right. Well, long story short, Lyle does not return phone calls or emails. I provided him with receipts for the lost items and the damaged items, as he requested. I have sent numerous messages asking him to respond to me, and he has not. In three days, it will be one year that I have been dealing with these issues with Galaxy Cleaners. Lyle is the worst manager/Owner that I have ever experienced. I did reach out to business owner and no response. 1st drop accidentally tried to charge for coat cleaning, no coat, no itemization of bill, we knew price was way off, they corrected. Last week I picked up 5 shirts laundry only not drive cleaning, again picked up price seemed way off, they charged 3 laundry, 2 dry clean. All shirts were put in as laundry. Staff was rude about correcting and then just gave me a bill for 24.00, I asked for itemized and they were even ruder and furious. The last straw came last week when my wife requested dry cleaning to be returned in two work days for an upcoming business trip. When picked up on the third day, several of the items were returned wet and not pressed. She called several times to speak to a manager about the situation, but none of her calls were returned. Kept getting excuses - machine broke down, it will be in tomorrow, call back, we will call you, the manager is not in. Today I presented a demand letter requesting a shirt and the cost of the bill. I see a lot of posts when they have lost your clothing. Each of you should present a demand letter to have proof when you take them to small claims court. DON'T lose your receipt!! We're very disappointed with the lack of service on our pleated drapes. Worst service ever! I took a muff in to get cleaned and they completely ruined it. The muff used to be soft, big and comfy. They gave it back to me wet, ripped/ torn, stiff and smaller, like it shrunk. Horrible experience !
