They literally saved the day for us. We were in Oregon on a multi-week motorcycle trip which we were filming for our YouTube channel. Adam von Gaertner is an expert dealing with computers. I took him a desktop computer that I purchased 7 years ago. It would not upgrade to Windows 11 and Microsoft will no longer update Windows 10 computers starting in October 2025. He purchased a Beelink mini PC for me and copied everything (programs, documents, photos, etc.) from my old desktop computer to the new Beelink mini PC. The new computer has been upgraded to Windows 11... and over the last two days I have tested everything on the new computer and everything works great. My husband just walked in with this old as dirt computer he wanted to use with his HAM equipment and Adam was so helpful to us. He had an old computer in the trunk of his car that he was going to recycle. He went out to his car and proceeded to take an hour to put it back together for us at a very reasonable cost. After calling around Bend and talking to different people about some computer troubles I was having I decided to go with Adam at Gaertner PC. Out of everyone I spoke with over the phone, Adam sounded the most confident about what the problem might be and that he could take care of it. So I brought my computer in and he immediately started taking a look and showing me different things going on inside my computer. He took the time to explain some different issues and it all made sense. Ultimately it came down to my computer having a bad power supply which he was able to have quickly replaced. He also took care of the malware and different things that had been plaguing this particular computer. So ultimately, for about $130 I ended up with a computer that works better then ever. It had been sitting in the garage as I couldn't figure out how to get it running smoothly again. I was so happy with the whole experience I brought in an old iMac for Adam to take care of as well. Now I've worked with a couple different companies that had IT departments and although the guys have always been great, Adam is the best I've every worked with. The fact that he also very reasonable cost wise and actually less then some of the alternatives makes Adam my go-to now for all computer related help.
