My wife and I were looking for a cleaning service and after doing some research, we decided to go…read morewith Skillful Hands since we try to support small businesses in our community and they had high reviews from other customers. I spoke with Irina and scheduled a deep cleaning service for $420 (4br, 3.5 bath home); we have two yellow labradors and our primary concern was to get rid of as much hair around our home as possible. The cleaners arrived on time and I gave them a tour of my home per their request. They worked on my first and second floors for about 3.5 hours, and the basement was done in about 30 minutes for a total of 4 hours. I was able to inspect the first and second floors while they were working on the basement and I was very pleased with the work that was completed. They completed the basement and upon departure, I told them I was satisfied with the work and tipped them 20%. Unfortunately, I encountered a couple issues upon their departure, so I decided to reach out to Irina to provide feedback. I noticed a bunch of dog hair on the basement stairs and ended up using my Dyson vacuum to clean it up. The canister was full and you could tell it was very old hair since the canister was a greyish color and not bright yellow when it's freshly shed hair. I showed this to Irina and after some back and forth provided me with a $50 refund for the basement, which was fair since they clearly did not vacuum the stairs or most of the basement (cleaners were adamant that they vacuumed the entire basement and stairs). The whole reason I'm writing this review is due to the next point; the roller head of my Dyson vacuum had white scuff marks all over the sides because the cleaner ended up using my equipment during the cleaning session. They advertise that they only use their equipment, so why did they use my Dyson vacuum? When I showed this to Irina, she claimed I must have made these marks myself and there's no way the cleaner did this. I also specifically said that I'm not asking for them to replace the head or provide any compensation whatsoever, just to own up to what they did and apologize. I have 24/7 surveillance on my first floor and have video of the cleaner banging my vacuum against the baseboards, but she was insistent that I made those marks in the past and that I have no proof. So basically, if they ended up breaking my vacuum (which they shouldn't have used in the first place), they would have said it was already broken and I have no proof of the condition before they used it. I was able to scrub most of the marks out and sent more images to Irina to show that they were fresh white paint marks from the baseboards. I wasn't asking for any compensation for the damage, yet Irina was still was adamant that my wife and I had caused the white scuff marks from prior use. Irina offered me $70 to end the conversation, I told her to keep the money and that I would no longer do business with them nor would I recommend them to family or friends. I'm all about supporting small businesses, but when a business owner goes to blame the customer right away and continue to blame them, even when the customer isn't asking for any kind of compensation, that's exactly the type of business to stay away from. Best of luck in the future, I'm hoping you learn from this experience - Best, Charlie

Then we were contacted and asked to move the cleaning, which was not possible since we were having the photos the next day. This too got figured out and they came as scheduled on Monday. Cleaner arrived on time and was very nice. Majority of the deep clean went very very well. I noticed after she left multiple areas on the checklist we were provided on the invoice were untouched. The washer and dryer were not touched. There were areas that were still very dusty, or that were half cleaned. For instance, in my daughter's bedroom the night stand has a recessed area, and only the front half was dusted. If you look in, the back half was untouched. The windowsill in the master bedroom was untouched, the curtains were not opened. The floors in the kitchen and dining room looked like they were not sufficiently scrubbed, as I was able to get what looked like "stuck on dirt" off VERY easily. The TV cabinet had a large mark on the front of it, which I easily wiped off after the cleaner left. The baseboards were also untouched in the kitchen. Honestly, the house looks great, maid green did an excellent job with the bathrooms and making the house sparkle. But the attention to detail just seemed a bit off. I should not have been able to wipe so much dust off of my daughter's dresser. There should not have been a pile of dust left on a desk. I recommend this service but please take your time looking over your home before letting the cleaner go. I was able to finish up all the areas that were missed, but if you won't have time to do a second run, you'll want to make sure that your cleaner has gotten to every area.

Yes it was slightly more than the lady I had, but these people bring all of their cleaning supplies. All you have to do is supply them with a vacuum cleaner. They came when I wasn't home. When I walked in my place was immaculate. I thought I did a good job cleaning but they did a lot better. They even brought their own trash bags. I couldn't believe how much better this person was then my previous. This is a legit company with the reputation it wants to keep. Not like some random person you know from someone else. I highly recommend these people to everyone I talk to him.
