I didn't know what to expect when I posted for my first appointment but was quickly impressed. The massage room is small but adequate and quite cozy. Soothing music from an interesting array of musicians and eclectic instruments shared the air with pleasant and complex herbal scents. Nothing overpowering. On the contrary, I felt very at ease and calm. When Jen started, I was pleasantly surprised that I felt very little pain as she freed up fascia and scar tissue that has been accumulating for almost 80 years. I have made Jennifer's massages a part of my routine and will continue to appreciate her skills for as long as I am able. She adds quality to my life!

I've been coming to see Jennifer on regular intervals for over a year now…read more I consider my visits here to be The Majority part of my self-care regimen. It gives me an opportunity to check in and observe the ups and downs of my energy level, my mental state, and how I'm doing physically. And then when I'm on the table I get to just fly away for a while - sometimes while snoring... ;-). It's quite a privilege. Sometimes I come in with a "symptom" and we'll "go after" that but as time goes on I have come to find that some of my best experiences come from completely trusting Jen's expertise. I don't need to control it. My body tells her where to go. When COVID became a Thing Jen completely re-tooled her shop to uphold standards of hygiene commensurate with Maryland regulations. She spaced out her patient load and disinfects between each client. At the time of this writing masks are not optional. Not yet - because she works with folks who are immuno-compromised and so she takes no chances. If you're looking for a regimen of personal healing and you're willing to see where it takes you then look no further. Sage's Massage is the Gold Standard.
