Nava Health & Vitality Center - Front desk- nice and clean waiting area

Nava Health & Vitality Center

(98 reviews)

I am filing a complaint against Nava Health for ongoing billing issues, lack of transparency, and…read morefailure to deliver promised services. I enrolled in a one-year membership for myself and my husband on February 28, 2025. From the start, there were problems. Prices were increased without any notice--I only discovered this at the time of my appointment. I was also promised doctor-led reviews after bloodwork, which never occurred; instead, I only spoke briefly with a nurse practitioner and received generic recommendations. Additionally, after each visit, there was consistent pressure to purchase expensive add-ons, often supported by concerning claims such as exaggerated food intolerances, "gut permeability," or potential Lyme disease, which felt more like sales tactics than objective medical guidance. More concerning is a pattern of improper charges. I was repeatedly billed for "free" monthly IM booster shots and had to call every time to dispute the charges, often spending 20+ minutes just to reach someone. These recurring, unauthorized charges raise serious concerns about their billing practices. On February 3, 2026, Nava contacted me stating that our memberships had already expired, which was incorrect, as I clearly signed up on February 28, 2025. On that same call, I explicitly declined the offer to renew. Despite this, both memberships were still charged. Only one membership was fully refunded; the other was partially refunded. Nava claims I "used services" on February 28, 2026; however, on February 20 I was told to reschedule my February 21 appointment due to provider illness. I immediately rescheduled to the next available Saturday, February 28--the only day I could attend due to work and travel. This delay was entirely caused by Nava, and I should not be penalized for accepting the only option provided after my membership had ended. After reviewing other complaints, this reflects a broader pattern of billing and service issues. I am requesting a full refund of the remaining $200 and written confirmation that my membership is canceled with no further charges.

Option Care Health

Option Care Health

(9 reviews)

I never leave bad reviews on businesses and am not someone who is quick to complain…read more But dealing with Option Care Health was an extremely stressful, borderline traumatic experience. If you need a nurse, be prepared to spend all day calling them and leaving messages with absolutely no response. If you are told that the nursing staff will give you a call back, no they won't. This was not a one-time failure where maybe the phones were busy one day. It was a systemic, habitual failure to provide care or even minimally communicate with patients. My husband had a picc line following a septic infection to continue his IV antibiotics at home. The dressing protecting the picc line came off twice, exposing the picc line to any and every contaminant. The first time it happened, we couldn't reach anyone for two full days. Not one single person called us back. For two days. I finally directed the call to the pharmacy department instead and begged them to help us get in touch with someone. They successfully got an appointment somewhere far as hell from our home. I gave up on the nursing line. At one point I was told in a super callous tone by their answering service that if it's an emergency I need to take him to the emergency room. That's not acceptable. A wide open picc line exposed to all kinds of germs from people in the ER for several hours, when we are paying for home nursing care, is such an offensive and dangerous thing to suggest. I want to cry/scream thinking about the level of disregard that we experienced and that I'm sure others do too. The second time it happened, we called first thing in the morning around 8 am, no one called back (of course). BUT this time, a nurse just showed up randomly at around 4pm without ever confirming. She kept saying that she almost decided not to come over because traffic was bad, it was raining, and she wanted to go home, so that's why she didn't call us ahead of time to let us know she was coming. It was like a last minute decision to actually show up. LOL. She also didn't put any second layer of protection (no clear inside window or even that round thing that protects the entry wound) because she brought zero equipment with her like I mean we even had to supply the gloves and sanitizer. Also, no one showed up for the blood draw he was supposed to have despite that being scheduled over a week in advance. Again, no luck getting in touch with anyone on that, although a nurse did call and leave a message with my husband about scheduling the removal of the picc line (not the blood draw that he needed before then. That's right - they removed the picc line without having the blood draw results to confirm his blood was actually clear of infection. The nurse drew blood at the removal appointment only because I asked him to, and he said it really should have been done before. I was like, Yeah, no kidding lol). Oh yeah, they also told him that he didn't need any caps to protect the IV where the injection is administered so that's just fine with them if it's wide open apparently to collect dust and dirt or whatever. I had to get them myself. When you call, the automated menu informs you that Option Care "treats patients like family." I feel so bad for their family if that's the case. Just absolutely negligent care from start to finish.

Bethany is amazing! I had never done reiki before and was curious about how it could help me with…read moreeach of the 5 benefits of reiki listed on her website--see below. I wanted to focus on stress and other ailments stemming from the immense stress in my life. I booked a one-hour session with and the crystal enhancement 2x within about 2 weeks, and each session helped me improve upon each of those 5 benefits! What truly amazed me was the immediate feedback from Bethany about what she and I both observed during the session. It was amazing how we both sensed the same things and she had great insight on why and how to work with it. What I love about Bethany's practice is how thorough she was. I felt heard, cared for, and not rushed at all. Bethany also sent a very helpful follow up email summarizing what we observed from the session and I refer to it often. She also included information about the crystals she used and how I can use them in my daily life to continue alleviating the stress, etc. I experience every day. If you've been considering reiki, book a session with Bethany--you won't regret it! Copied from flowreikieandwellness.com: 1. Alleviate stress and anxiety 2. Enhance emotional well-being 3. Support physical healing and pain management 4. Improve sleep and energy levels 5. Beware of the Bait and Switch…read more BUYER BEWARE - this is a bonafide, back in the day, BAIT and SWITCH!!!! I never saw anything like the pictures displayed in the Groupon advertisement. No salt on the floor, no soothing deemed lights, nothing attached to the bucket of water for my feet - NOTHING!!!!! You sit in a small cold room, similar to a basic waiting room. You're asked to remove your shoes and socks. A lady comes in and pours water into a bucket and tells you to let her know if the water is warm enough. The water becomes cold really quickly. There's nothing in the water except a sprinkle of maybe tea (???), not sure.  However there is no aromatherapy of any kind.  She then flips a switch and says something should be coming out of the wall, I'm thinking this is the salt, but nothing ever comes out - just an annoying humming sound. So I'm just sitting there in this ice cold room, with my feet in this now ice cold water, just waiting for my Groupon purchase to happened.  At least 40 minutes pass by and she opens the door - doesn't say a word to me - at this point she's giving a couple a tour of the facility.  I'm now waiting for my second portion of my purchase, which was a 30 minute Salt Box Session for One (the first portion of my purchase was a 30 minute Aromatherapy Foot Bath for one). Back to my horrific adventure. About 10 more minutes pass and she walks in and says, "hey, are you staying with us all day?".  I explain that I didn't know what to expect with this particular portion of the purchase, but I'm not at all fond of my feet sitting in cold water.  So I'll make a mental note to not purchase this again. I also notified her that she opened the door, never said a word to me in regards to next steps.  I then ask, nevertheless, are we now going into another room for the Salt Box session? She says this experience was both the foot bath and the Salt Box session combined in one 30 minute session. I say "You must be kidding me.... the Groupon purchase stated "One 30 Minute Aromatherapy Foot Soak and One 30 Minute Salt Box Session for one person". The bottom line, I sat in this cold room, with my feet in this cold water, for 40 minutes, never saw even a speck of salt?  Are you kidding me right now????"... I ask her about the picture in the ad, explaining that's what "I" paid for, she responds, "oh no - that's another room and another cost".  At this point, I just put on my shoes and socks and prepare to leave (remember she never told me next steps).  To add "salt" to my wound, (pun intended) after I put my socks and shoes on and was heading out the door, she attempt's to hand me a 20% off coupon to use towards my next visit.  LADY!!!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME RIGHT NOW???? Bottom line, BUYER BEWARE...
