I'm very dissatisfied with the services rendered at this place which is not hair related. I found this girl through a friend who did her hair with Samra whom he referred to her as " the best in town" for microblading and eyebrows shading. First,I was the one reaching out to gather the info related to the procedure which she replied in a reasonable time. Then she sent me the release form with all the steps to follow prior to the procedure ( keep in mind this was Monday and my appointment was Friday ). In the release form she reported the aftercare treatment and what vitamin supplements I was supposed to stop prior the appointment (7 days prior according to her instructions) which she didn't send in a timely manner . Then Upon arrival to the salon , the people were very welcoming which I have no complaints about that. Once the girl who's name is Atenea arrived , she was very good explaining the whole process and based on her experience she recommended me what to get. So I went for the shading since what I wanted was to look like I had a soft powder look. Upon arrival to the room everything was very clean and seemed spotless . The procedure took more time than expected ,but anyhow the point was not the time , the point was that i left with uneven eyebrows. After she said she was done with my eyes brows and I looked at myself in the mirror I was shocked with the results and I told her " I think I have one eyebrow higher than the other one and more rounded than the other one " she told me , " no worries I can fix it, let me measure you again " aren't you supposed to do that since the beginning ? Long story short , I have one eyebrow more arched than the other one and I told her to stop fixing it since I personally thought she was doing more harm than good. According to her,I'm supposed to loose 50-60 % of the pigment which is fine but how can you trust someone who left you un satisfied with the service that the customer paid $500? Then she wasn't humble enough to accept that she messed up and was acting like she was offended and calling me dramatic for me telling her I wasn't happy with the results since the beginning referring to me " that I was hating her at this moment for the way I looked " Hello wouldn't you ? I'm honestly furious cause she claimed that it was her time , supplies and so on , but do people realize the amount of trust a person place into someone when doing something in your face and doesn't come out as expected? Girl if you screwed up at least be humble and stick your tongue were you don't get sun and be humble and apologize,don't act like you did a wonderful job cause you didn't . I don't recommend her at all and it gives Gabriel Samra Salon a very bad reputation for poor ethics, unprofessionalism, and decreased customer service. Now I have to stick to funny looking eyebrows for until a professional fix my eyebrows if they can. Ps: Getting nasty text messages after asking for my refund makes it even worst , not for me but for the person with the childish and unprofessional behavior towards a customer. read more

I have to completely DISAGREE with the last review by Britni G!!! I understand her having a bad experience and respect her right to post a review, but I also believe she was not fair and acted impulsively. I've been coming to Gabriel Samra's salon for quite a while now and since the first day I was treated like a queen. I do my hair with either Manny or Gabriel and they treat EVERY SINGLE ONE of his clients with the upmost respect, they're always attentive to our needs and more importantly you will always come out satisfied. Factory treatment? Absolutely NOT, we have to understand this is an extremely busy salon and Gabriel makes a point on seeing and interacting with everyone of his clients. Are there bad people in good places? Of course!!! That's life!! What you're supposed to do in those cases is voice your dissatisfaction with the service and I'm pretty sure it would've been taken care off. In regards to the very discriminatory comment about her being a non Spanish speaking person, awful!!! Gabriel's clientele is diverse, and everyone gets treated the same. So after driving by this salon everyday, twice a day... I decided to come in and give it a shot. I previously had done highlights else where, and my hair needed MAJOR color correction. I literally had 5 different colors in my hair... I had PATCHES.... yes patches of black, red, orange, blonde and God knows what else! I spent all day there.... not because of Gabriel or his staff... that's just how much work my hair needed... and it was worth every second! Him and his team are AMAZING!!! Very professional, kind, and fast! Great team work!! I didn't expect to get the results I got my first time there.... but Gabriel corrected my coloration and was able to give me the exact same color I was looking for! I've been coming to Gabriel Samra for over a year now and I must say I travel all the way from North Miami just to get my hair done here! My stylist/colorist is Harold Quiroz! He is amazing! He does my roots and highlights and they look simply spectacular, natural and healthy! NOT the fried, over-processed or dull look that I have experienced in other salons. Harold is super knowledgeable... he's a true expert! If he recommends something, trust his experience, you will look beautiful! Gabriel is truly a talented stylist and I always enjoy the energy at his salon. I leave with my hair looking fabulous, always! Gabriel's advice is unfailingly spot on and I know I'm in very capable hands. All of the staff is so sweet - warmly greeted at the front door, the best head massages while being shampooed, complimentary chocolates and wine seem to regularly come around. Believe it or not, they also have the best cafe con leche in town! Gabriel and everyone at the salon exceed all expectations and make you feel like part of a big extended family! I don't like to write reviews but I want to say that Manny is the best hairdresser in Miami.I couldn't find anyone in months who wouldn't damage and treat with care so my friend Yare recommended me to Manny.Let me tell you he is amazing! I spend a little extra on my hair than I used to before but it's worth what he does with your hair.He treats you like a guest in his own house with cafecito or snacks.Im in love with my balayage.He knows professionally what he is doing. THE BEST HAIR DRESSER!, from black to blonde, from long to short and everything in the middle. I trust Gaby 100%. I've been going to his salon for a few years now, and I have to drive almost 3 hours back and forth! But I don't care. I will follow him anywhere he goes. Why ?because he listens. That is it. He doesn't do anything else buy what I ask, no more, no less. Most of hair dressers love to just cut cut and cut hair more that you ask but he always respected what I wanted.
