The batter was bland and it was a bit alarming to watch how much vinegar and salt was added to the dish before it was served. The slab of fish was huge, however and you can easily feed 2 with the medium portion. Maybe the fish would have been better if I ate it right away. Tea is always served best in a magnificent teacup. The bluebell are testament to this. It certainly is a the perfect spot for tea and cake!
