Veggie Spanish Breakfast Burrito
Sara G.

I came in craving a breakfast burrito and was NOT disappointed. I'm vegetarian so I asked the cashier if I could remove the meat and eggs from the Spanish burrito. He was super accommodating and made sure I got exactly what I wanted. My burrito was SO GOOD, wow. This is a cute little spot with 1-2 tables and self serve coffee in the corner. Highly recommend stopping in if you're in the area.

I believe this is under new owners from my last visit over 15 years ago. Very clean inside. It's not meant for indoor dining. I ordered a THEC SPK. There was hardly any cheese on it. I didn't taste any salt or pepper. And they almost forgot the ketchup. I heard the cook ask the counter person if there's ketchup on it. He had to open the outer foil wrap and add the ketchup. There were four slices of Taylor ham and they had char which was good. I think there were two eggs on it but it was hard to tell. There could've been more eggs. There was no cheese pull. The sandwich tasted good but could've been bigger and better. I also ordered a cinnamon raisin bagel with butter. The bagel seemed under cooked and doughy. The other bagel flavors seemed more cooked and bigger. It's iffy if I will be back. I can't recommend them.

It's pretty busy and for good reason. The bagels and sandwiches are delicious. When you think of a good bagel place, this is it!

Service is not always the best. Bagels are great. Customer Service could be better, food can be great however, customer service is key.

The restaurant is located in a small strip mall on Rt 46 East in Parsippany. I've heard the chicken cutlet sandwiches were very good here, but I was in the mood for meatballs. The meatball sandwich was unbelievable! Loaded with meatballs on toasted bread with a delicious sauce, I loved it! There were so many meatballs, I had to eat some before I could eat the sandwich. The guy working behind the counter was very friendly. There were quite a few tables and it clearly looked like a lot of "regulars" here. I'm really glad I finally stopped here. If you're looking for some great Italian food, stop by!

Decided to try this spot out for lunch when I was craving a sandwich. The setting is basic, actually totally different than what I expected. Lands somewhere between a sandwich spot and grandma's Italian eatery. I'm always excited, so maybe that was off-putting to the guy behind the middle of the room counter, but who cares- I ordered two of the most gigantic, delicious fresh tasting sandwiches- I've had in forever. Go get you one.

Lunch panic averted -- and what a find!…read more I didn't bring lunch to work and was deep in the "what am I going to eat?" struggle when The Great Wazu popped up in my search. I'll admit, seeing that it was primarily a sandwich shop made me hesitate since I need gluten-free options. But I was thrilled to see they offer gluten-free bread -- and even more relieved when I spoke to the incredibly kind server who walked me through their celiac protocol. As someone who worries about cross-contamination, that conversation alone put me at ease. I originally planned to grab something quick and rush back to work, but I was pleasantly surprised by how spacious the place is. For a strip mall location in Parsippany, there's actually plenty of seating, and the atmosphere feels welcoming and comfortable. Bonus: tons of parking, which is always appreciated. The menu has so many tempting options -- sandwiches, wraps, salads, chips, sweet treats, and beverages. Once I saw they had gluten-free bread, I may have gotten a little carried away and ordered two sandwiches: the Walnut Cranberry Chicken Salad and the Italiano. No regrets! Both were generously portioned and packed with flavor. I was especially impressed that they use four slices of gluten-free bread per sandwich -- which is thoughtful since GF slices tend to be smaller. For the price, that extra effort really stood out. I also grabbed a side of coleslaw and their homemade potato salad -- both fresh, flavorful, and the perfect complement to the sandwiches. Friendly service, great gluten-free awareness, generous portions, and lots of variety -- I'm so glad I found this spot. I'll absolutely be back to work my way through more of the menu.

Sandwich was solid. Tried the roast beef insanity which was popular on yelp. Sandwich was under $15 and was fairly substantial. Easily enough for me. Several tables inside. Its located in a place with ample parking.

I've stopped here to pick up lunch literally hundreds of times over the past 30 years or so. Sorrento's is as good now as the first time I went there, probably even better! The stars of the show here for me though are the bakery items. Whether it's the cakes, donuts, or pastries, I've never had anything here I didn't like. Some favorites for me are the Napoleons, Lobster Tail, Linser Tarts, and Black & White cookies. My wife loves the Red Velvet Cupcakes and the Cannolis. The Thanksgiving pies from here are always a huge hit. If you haven't been to Sorrento's Bakery, check it out. I'm planning on stopping here for many more years!

We were greeted ebulliently by the very nice server, and the service was great throughout the meal, with two servers and the chef or manager (both?) checking on us. There is an extensive menu, from which I chose the Jersey Carbonara and my dining partner had the Shrimp and Pancetta Risotto. Both entrees were delicious and filling, The restaurant bakes delicious bread, which is light and fluffy and somehow tastes vaguely cheesy also. We rounded off our meal with what I hope was a decaf capuccino--one of the smoothest coffee drinks I've had the pleasure to sample--and a truffle with two kinds of ice cream and a little jujube inside. 10/10 would eat there again.
