We stopped by here today for some coffee early in the morning. When we entered, we noticed there was barely any people. One of our friends had to use the restroom and asked the cashier but she bluntly said she wasn't going to let us unless we ordered something first. So we did that but some of us felt quite uncomfortable with her rushing us so we didn't order and stepped out. Some of us really wanted coffee (we hadn't even had breakfast) so we ordered something. When we got our coffee, we noticed it tasted weird and not good by any means. I ordered a latte and it literally did not taste anything like a latte. I would say it was some sort of combination between almond and oatmeal, but definitely not coffee. When we got in the car, we saw the lady come outside and sprinkle salt after we had left. There was no visible sign of snow or ice so it confused us at first. Not sure why she thought sprinkling salt would clean the "vibes" after us leaving but that was super unprofessional and rude. Not to mention, there was a bunch of rules all over the coffee place. There was stickers on the table saying you couldn't bring your own food inside and using the wifi was only limited to an hour. There's also only one coffee size so if you wanted a large, forget about that. Imagine having to choose this place to relax or get your work done, I don't see it as having any sort of welcoming vibes. It's more intimidating than anything. Never coming here again + coffee wasn't even worth it. 0/10 don't recommend :( read more

Truly stellar coffee in a very unassuming spot. Service was quick and the flat white I had was one of the best I've had in a while, cafes in large cities like NYC included--silky smooth espresso and perfect roastiness without being too bitter or over-extracted. Oh how I love to support local coffee shops! I walked over after dropping the car off for some quiet time and chai, the gf pumpkin bread from Outrageous was a bonus. The place is small but in the short time inside (no seating due to COVID) it was oh so relaxing. They take their coffee seriously as they have a roaster right in house for all to see. I'm normally a coffee drinker but on the cool fall morning I felt like chai. It's perfect middle of the road chai, which is a good thing! It's not weak and watery like most places but rather warm, inviting and well rounded. I personally like chai with more of a punch but I'm not the average chai drinker. The digital art is amazing as well! The view from the picnic table outside the door isn't bad either. read more

This place boasts: * A few small tables for working or catching up with friends * The standard coffee drinks we all love * A selection of unique drinks that I've never seen before (i.e. Cherry Blossom latte) * Clean, modern look * Their own coffee roaster! * Free wifi * A rewards program (punch card) * Surprise Milano cookies that can with my drink! The only things that would make this place better are: *A description of all the unique drinks! I wanted to try them, but was hesitant because I wasn't sure what to expect *More customers! Since this is a new establishment, it was a little quiet for my taste. I'm in love. Just came here for the first time today, and I feel like I've been transported back to Asia with the cute accents and aesthetic of this place (totally complete with adorable sticker stencils on the walls, cute fonts, and endearing quotes). Located close by to Rayback, Gabee Coffee has easy parking right outside, reliable Wi-Fi, a nice space to work in, and the sweetest employees. This place is completely spotless inside, and has a nice and relaxing feel to it. The space is relatively small (almost all spots were taken when I came in at 10AM on a Tuesday) but has adequate seating. When I came in, I was greeted with a smile and although I initially wanted to order the cherry blossom latte, the barista told me that she didn't think it had much flavor to it and suggested I may want to try something else. I ended up ordering the milk tea latte, which was served to me in a pretty blue ceramic latte mug with the matching saucer. This is by far the BEST milk tea latte I've had in years - it was steamed to the perfect temperature to drink right away, and had a wonderful balance of sweetness and lightness. The milk was so rich and creamy, and I could see the residual tea grounds on the bottom that makes me think that was made with actual tea leaves, instead of a pre-made teabag. So happy this place opened up in Boulder! Although Boulder has a plethora of coffee shops, this is one of the few that I have encountered that I feel has a comfortable working space and unique, quality drinks at the same time. They don't do cafe au lait. This is a new shop. The staff weren't native english speakers. We asked for a cafe au lait, which is an Americano with some steamed milk on top. They said we could only order off the menu. So we asked them for some drip coffee with some steamed milk on top. They said they don't have drip coffee. So we asked them for an Americano. They said they could make us an Americano. We asked them if they could do a side of steamed milk, they said no because they can only do things from the menu. They said cafe au lait is french coffee. French people come in and ask for french coffee, british people ask for british coffee, italians come in and ask for italian coffee, but they only can make the coffee on the menu. Then they nicely asked us to leave. They didn't say "leave," but they said sorry, we can't help you. There were two other drinks we wanted, but decided to go to another local coffee shop. read more

Most weekends, my wife and I try to stop by our favorite coffee spot, all the way from Thornton. We love the unique menu and being pleasantly surprised when we order something new. If it is your first time, I recommend the sweet potato latte. You get good flavor from the coffee with a slightly sweet finish from the sweet potato. My wife would recommend the chestnut latte. My second favorite. Since we live far away, we make sure to buy a bag of the espresso blend. It keeps us content during the week until we are able to make another stop into the shop. We also like exploring the other roasts for our daily drip coffee. The owners are very kind and make you feel special with the artwork they put on the foam. Presuming this might mean a healthy break from the green label goddess coffee getting our "bucks" lately, we ventured in. I'm a bit of a coffee snob, and this was some of the best that I've had in a while! They roast their own, and it is excellent. Gabee is a bit different than many coffee shops - they have many of the standard coffee drinks (I had a very tasty mocha, half sweet), as well as non-coffee, non-dairy lattees, such as sweet potato latte. Note that they only have one size of coffee (most places would call it small)...it's worth coming to taste their delicious concoctions. The inside space is small, although there are a few picnic tables outside. Check them out! I have to return so I can try some of their alternatives! read more

Good coffee. I came here every day on my way to work. One day they decide to no longer offer complimentary simple syrup for iced coffees. The barista didn't care when I brought up my concern. Just went in on a whim as I usually frequent boxcar and ozo. The customer service was great, incredibly kind and knowledgeable. It's a small place but we'll put together and incredibly clean. Covid precautions were well done and felt very safe. I purchased a bag of single origin Kenyan beans which were delightful and the owner gave me a smaller bag to try for free-- a nice touch. Really great spot, but it would be great if they sold all their whole beans in smaller bags as I had to buy a 1lbs bag which will be tough for me to finish before it starts to go bad.
