My teammates also seemed happy with their food. There were also vegetarian options available. Then we played pool. Everything was set up neatly, and easy to access. The poolhall is dimly lit and has a cozy vibe. It's easy to get into your game, even though there are matches happening all around you.

My mother was in town and she wanted to do something unique. Bingo was the choice and boy did we get bit bad by the bingo bug. We came back twice in a matter of two days and stayed for two sessions on the Saturday. It's quite the happenin' place! I'd also like to add theres not just little bingo grannies waiting at the tables with their dabbers. There's a range of people here, it makes people watching fun. The actual place offers computer cards as well as the classic paper cards. The prizes are pretty good, usually $1000-$5000, depending on what you need to dab on your cards. They offer a limited menu, I tried but I'm not a fan at all. If your going to eat here, I'd stick to the chips and chocolate bars. Even then, the selection is mediocre. Sadly, we didn't win a dime but I still had a blast!

I ordered a couple of beers and my Wife Caesar, She has been craving them since the first lock down. There not much on the beer menu as I am a craft beer fan. But my Wife was very satisfied with her Caesar's she proceeded to order 2 more LOL. The food was okay. I found my BLT a bit wet at the bottom of the bread. The fries were just average. My gravy was a bit tangy. The wings from another table smelled devine but next time I might just stick with the drinks.

He was very hesitant to serve me, looks me up and down... He made me pay before even receiving my drink. I asked for a Jameson neat.... He serves it to me in a shot glass. If you are a bartender that's something you should be knowledgeable about. This place is not welcoming at all.. and definitely wouldn't recommend l, consider or even try to come back. Especially when the bartender has hygiene issues. Also he tells everyone that comes in that he can make them whatever they like; which is not possible at all due to limited experience in bartending and limited supplies. In my past, I have experience in bartending/service industry. As I know what they go through with people I'm a really great tipper. But for something like this, just broke my heart. It's really not welcoming and such disappointment in today's society when it's your first time in Toronto.

The beer didn't taste good, but that could have been because of the green food colouring in it.... The wings me and my buddy ordered were terrible. The size of the wings looked like they were from a poor emaciated stray chicken found on the road. And there was hardly any sauce on it. After waiting some time for our waitress to come around, I finally tracked her down and asked for 2 wing sauces to help ease the pain, but that didn't work. The sauce that came was way too sweet, and didn't taste like what was on the wing. And then there was the dill sauce. How can you mess up dill sauce? I don't know how, but they did. It was terrible! The girls at our table ordered various things, and no one had anything nice to say. I will never go back there again.

This is one of the more English pubs I've been to in North America, not that it's modeled after an English pub per se, but it does what English pubs do. It takes care of an entire neighbourhood in terms of giving them a watering hole and a destination and a place to spend their hours. This is the kind of place that gives a neighbourhood character. It's an adorable little bar, drinks aren't dirt cheap but it's worth it. The food is supposed to be good, but I've only gone here drinking so far. Cool concept if you're into that, but it's definitely a different vibe than choosing a track from a catalog and singing along. From what I gathered, the band was friendly and offered an alternative when they didn't know the song my mom wanted to sing, but she opted out and left shortly after. No big deal. The place looked decent from the outside, kind of like the kind of pub you'd slip into for a pint and some low-key tunes. Later, I mentioned the experience during a karaoke chat somewhere else, and people who had been to Queen Victoria Pub spoke well of the jammy-oke setup. So, while it wasn't the right fit for my mom that night, others seem to enjoy it. Probably worth checking out if you're open to a more live-jam kind of karaoke scene.

I kind of wished more restaurants/ pubs vented their boxes so the fries did not get too soggy. I did find my order came with a generous portion of tartar sauce but they served white vinegar not malt. A bit of a faux pas here. I did find the wings a bit under done. I guess I prefer a bit of a crisp so I popped those in my air fryer for 5 minutes at 400 ° F. After that they made a tasty side.
