Service was slow and the food was just ok. First time going to a Gabby's and not sure if I would try them again. The service was really slow and it wasn't that busy. The place looks ok and the atmosphere is good. The food wasn't what it should have been. The couple we went with said they used to go before Covid and it was really good. I guess things have changed. I put a 3 star rating because it's was ok not bad. We had the Parmesan fries (just ok) , pizza and an omelette. The pizza was the best part of the meal.

My new found favourite place. It looks new so sitting there for a long time feels very comfortable. Seats close to the wall have cellphone charging USB port, that's a nice touch. I had fish and chips dinner portion the first time. It was pretty fresh and big 2 pieces, definitely filling. It was a special price with Moosehead beer, I really enjoyed it. Looking at the menu they have special almost daily, so far I've been there 3 times already, will go back again.

We ordered takeout from here to try as we didn't really feel like cooking. Food was ready when we got there and piping hot which is always great. Food: 2lbs of wings in spicy Thai sauce. Wings were quite good. They had a great crunch on the outside, moist inside, decently large. Comes with 2 carrot and 2 celery sticks and ranch dressing. We really enjoyed the wings. French toast and breakfast potatoes. The breakfast potatoes were awesome. Super crispy exterior and soft interior, decent seasoning. The toast was a bit of a letdown, just kind of tasted liked regular toast. Also, we asked for maple syrup and they didn't give us any. Steak fajita - the steak is cooked well though a bit tough. The fried veges were cooking well and had good flavor. The lettuce looked towards the wilting end but the tomatoes and cheese seemed fresh. The guacamole was great, salsa surprisingly lacked flavor. Comes with 4 small-medium tortilla wraps. Price: I will say this is a bit pricier than other pubs but the quality is pretty good.

I usually avoid chain restaurants as there are so many dining options in the city to explore. However, I found myself at Gabby's due a a friend's request and enjoyed my time here. They have a large open space indoors and a sizable patio also. Service was good but let us chat as we liked. I had an order of onion rings while my partner had their special for the day: fish and chips. Both were well fried and delivered on it's expectation of crunchy goodness. I like that they have daily specials!

When i saw this was opening nearby, I was so excited! I used to go to another location frequently during school. So we decided to come in for an early lunch and so glad we did! The atmosphere is really cool! The layout is easy to navigate and the decor gives good vibes through-out. I loved the lights near the bar (I want to say it's a lit up Gabby's name but I'm not 100 on that). Our server was awesome and so friendly! She was attentive and was quick when we needed anything. The food was good! The Garlic Cheese bread was so soft and literally were so delicious! The Chicken fingers were just alright, nothing to write home about. When I come back I wouldn't order it again. My husband really enjoyed his brisket burger though to the point I didn't even get offered a bite. So it must of been good! We will certainly be back to try out more of the menu and just relax and have a few beers!

I have to start with congratulating the staff that have been assembled here. I had made reservations for a Birthday Party for my Wife, her 40th. Between my emails and phone calls the reservation was confused between a Thursday and Friday. I take partial blame and the Manager accepted blame as well. But amazingly the incredible staff here went above and beyond to accommodate myself and the 11 + people that were on the way. All things considered the staff with only being at their respective jobs for only a week did an amazing job with our party. If there were questions the waitresses did what they could to get the answers as quick as they could. The bartenders did what they could to answer my difficult Whisky questions. I look forward to coming to this establishment more often to enjoy the wonderful meals and good drink selection that they assembled. My only suggestion would be to include some local craft brewery selections on the menu like Common Good or Muddy York. But I guess that would be a corporate decision and not on the local management team. I would like to give a special shout out to Anthony the Manager and Amanda our main Waitress. They went above and beyond the call and made our meal and my Wife's 40th extra special. I am so glad we have a Gabby's near us and look forward to spending much more time here.

Supposed to be ground beef quesadilla & mozarella cheese?
    Sue Y.

It didn't look like what I ordered. Paid extra for ground beef quesadilla. It was thin beef strips with mozarella cheese. Quesadilla's usually come with cheddar cheese. There was tomato slices and green onions just thrown on top of the slices. Worst Quesadilla's I have ever tried. No taste. It was a BOGO promo through UBEREATS and wasted my money. UBEREATS didn't even reimburse my money. Had to throw it away. Super disappointed because it was the first time, Gabby's food was such a disappointment. If you're craving quesadilla's one night..DON'T ORDER FROM GABBY'S.!!

First time eating here and went on Monday, half price wings. Went with some friends as they've been many times. We ordered 6 lbs of wings, 3 flavors for each 2 lbs. Honey garlic, Bold BBQ, and salt/pepper. All of the wings were a bit dry but the flavors were pretty good so would give it 3 stars. Service was very good as our server was attentive and helpful with recommending sauces. Overall, good experience and value of food.

Came here on the 30th day of the month during the 30th anniversary of Gabby's. So what's the big deal(s) then? Well, order a 5 ounce glass of house red or white wine for $3.98 or a 30th appetizer platter for $7.89 today. Additionally, wings are half-priced on Monday and on Wednesday. My friend and I each ordered a single (9) wings, shared a platter and sipped on red wine. A delicious meal! Our server Justine was friendly and made our first dining experience at this new location terrific.

I ordered the Quesadillas to go first mistake. Inside I only got cheese and chicken. They were too lazy to chop up the green onion and tomatoes so they just threw them inside the box. First and last time I'm going ther

The tables were clean, and there were lively pool matches happening all around. We started off with lunch. I had a salad and got some extra chicken and wow... some of the most tender, flavourful chicken breast I've ever had dining outside. I went in with no expectations and was pleasantly surprised. My teammates also seemed happy with their food. There were also vegetarian options available. Then we played pool. Everything was set up neatly, and easy to access. The poolhall is dimly lit and has a cozy vibe. It's easy to get into your game, even though there are matches happening all around you.

(Low lighting) We went for happy hour (4-6pm on a Friday) and had $5 bar rails, $7 chicken bites, and full price pretzels $9. We played an hour of pool on the 9ft tables. They also have 7ft tables for rent. The chicken bites were really good in a Nashville sauce (a bit spicy). The pretzels were served hot with a honey mustard sauce. Both were great and I would definitely eat again. Overall the food this time was much better and the drinks weren't too watered down (ask for less ice). Positive experience!

We arrived at 6:30pm on Friday night. It was not too busy. More like families around, some tables were couples. We ordered this special. The shared App was Four Cheese Spinach dips, we chose the baked chips. Pretty good portion. The mains we got Alfredo Pasta with choice of Shrimp. Reasonable portion, cheesy and tasty, but original price was $19.99. Another main was Mediterranean Salmon (extra $4 for this dish), it was rice at the bottom and cooked Salmon. I like cooked fish, not fishy. Let's do it. We love that. The shared dessert was a piece of white chocolate cheesecake with choice of dark Chocolate or caramel on the top. It was too sweet for us. It was not too busy, but my water not got refilled, and the waitress was hard to find her when we needed. Based on the price and the food, here was still a good place to come.

I will say I've been to this Kelsey's many times and I'm very disappointed…read more I came with my friend's family for a lunch out. Walk in and was greeted very polite and that's really where the good experience ends. The waitress was the ONLY thing that was good about this experience. Firstly, it was slow so I'd expect faster service which we didn't get. And that's not the waitress fault, thats the management didn't properly staff the restaurant. Now on to the food, which honestly was WORST part of the experience. First the appetizer which was the spinach dip had hair in it. Thankful the waitress did get us a new one but the wait was long and we were already done our other appetizers. Then we got our main meals and I was disgusted with the price and portion of the food. I ordered a chicken fried chicken and got the beautiful big plate but what I saw was horrible. I had mashed potatoes and veggies with it and I was flabbergasted with what they put on my plate one scoop of mashed potatoes, one big piece of broccoli with a few tiny pieces and a small piece of chicken. Now I don't like to complain but I work in a restaurant myself and I know the proper way of portioning food on a plate. Which this was just wrong. I push it all together and it wasn't even half a plate of food altogether, the cost of it was $20.99. $21 for lest then half a plate. That is just disgraceful. I spoke to the manager and explained if the food was on a different size plate I probably wouldn't have been as mad. He had a rude attitude on his face and asked if I wanted anything else. I explain I have an allergy to onion so this is honestly one of the few thing I can eat of the menu and then he just repeat what would you like and I just said nothing thank you. But the worst part was as I left a new server had came in and walked over to my friend telling them that they over stayed and need to leave because they need the table. She told me after I had left good thing to because I would have been asking for name and number to call. For an empty restaurant really nobody should be rudely rushed out ever. Overall horrible experience. I'm disgusting and disappointed with the total out come of the lack of respect towards the customers with the staff here. We are spending our money on food and services, they should better than this.

Cool concept if you're into that, but it's definitely a different vibe than choosing a track from a catalog and singing along. From what I gathered, the band was friendly and offered an alternative when they didn't know the song my mom wanted to sing, but she opted out and left shortly after. No big deal. The place looked decent from the outside, kind of like the kind of pub you'd slip into for a pint and some low-key tunes. Later, I mentioned the experience during a karaoke chat somewhere else, and people who had been to Queen Victoria Pub spoke well of the jammy-oke setup. So, while it wasn't the right fit for my mom that night, others seem to enjoy it. Probably worth checking out if you're open to a more live-jam kind of karaoke scene.

But I found this pub had halibut on the menu so I ordered two dinners plus a side (1 lbs) of wings. The food arrived hot and the fish was very good. The portion size was decent and the fries were still edible. I often find when ordered for home delivery fries seldom make the trip. I kind of wished more restaurants/ pubs vented their boxes so the fries did not get too soggy. I did find my order came with a generous portion of tartar sauce but they served white vinegar not malt. A bit of a faux pas here. I did find the wings a bit under done. I guess I prefer a bit of a crisp so I popped those in my air fryer for 5 minutes at 400 ° F. After that they made a tasty side.
