I didn't expect Craddock, with its relatively high-property-value location in the heart of the Medical District, to have the cheapest prices, but they did. Craddock's price was in some cases HALF of what other lumber yards quoted me (I wonder if those other places were upcharging because they realized they had the homeowner on the line and thought I was incapable of comparison shopping). Craddock also had wonderful customer service, and delivery only cost $50. Tell your contractor.
