Updated: I had lots…read moreof issues with my double iron door that i ordered. First it took a while to get the doors which was fine. I did get them in time. It took forever to get them installed -still not a big deal however my builder told me he never could get a hold of them and asked me to handle the communications. Then it took an eternity and about 150 calls and texts to get the touch up and repairs which were numerous: -lock set was placed inaccurately and cut out looks ameture -handle piece wont pop out from door -nicks all over the threshold -the trim between the doors was not even attached 100% I finally nagged Javier so much that he finally came and made things right. I thought we were done. I was glad to have washed my hands of this business and then I noticed a significant amount of cold air coming through the entire length of the door where the two meet! It had weather stripping but then I noticed at the top there was a 1-1.5" gap where the door was not technically flush with the metal frame. Looking at the threshold I wonder if they cut the locking pin holes in the wrong place or what. I was even more alarmed when I saw all the condensation on my new home/custom trim!! So then we began the calling and texting into the black hole again. He once got back with me and agreed to come and see the doors, stood us up, rescheduled and arrived to say he needed to come back. Gave very little information and said something about how much work... having to take them off....he did not tell my spouse what the next steps were and I had not been able to get a response back from him for almost a year. I continued to try and was successful finally. All thanks to Claudia joining the team and ensuring things were right. She was receptive, very pleasant to deal with, quick to have an assessment made and also prompt for scheduling the repair. The guys out were very polite and worked quickly to get everything taken care of. A huge thank you for making things right. This place offers beautiful iron doors at a great price.

We reached out for quotes and specifically required them to outline the repair and why they thought it was best. Capital Welding was able to properly identify the root cause after inspection and even identified deficiencies performed on a previous repair. They did an amazing job, paid attention to the little details and obsessed about the quality of their work. Great price, exceptional service, open and honest communication, and stayed late to make sure everything was to expectation. As an added bonus, they told me that they were going to come back and add a plate to cover a whole that they saw wasps coming in and out of. I had no idea how to pick a welder, so finding out that he's certified gave me even more confidence in using him because I knew his work would be done right. Our gorgeous really heavy iron gate had broken off its hinges. He came out to our house quickly and got it fixed. It looks fantastic and he guarantees his work so we know if something happens, he'll come back out and make it right. He also fixed some broken spindles on our iron fence, and gave us some advice about how to maintain it so it'll last even longer. I'm very happy with his work, and we'll definitely call him if we ever need ironwork again.
