I looked in the Better Business Bureau and saw the A+ status and the great reviews for King Cole and called them up to schedule a free estimate. He was able to come the same day and within a week, he gave me an estimate. He also gave me estimates on the incompetent construction company's mess ups as well. He completed my master bath and the mess ups from the other company in less than 3 weeks and he was very thorough. In fact, he would pop up while other jobs were going on just to ensure things were going well and going well according to his schedule, like a good project manager should. I am extremely impressed with Cole. He is organized, he knows his trade, he is trustworthy and has reasonable pricing. He does not accept credit cards but he does use the square app if you must use a cc. I plan to have him do more projects around my house, I just need to save some more money before that happens. I should have taken that as a sign and took my business elsewhere. Kevin May was hired to do a job that he clearly was by NO means qualified to do. He half did the job. So many errors so many imperfections. He tried to get away with not properly doing things then when told about them he had an extremely nasty and unprofessional attitude as though this was a service that he was doing for free. He went to lowes to supposedly purchase materials. Only to later find out that he thought that it was okay to purchase chips, and drinks at my expense. Complete and total ignorance. He left trash outside of my home boxes old cabinets ect. he did not clean up after himself neither did he haul off trash from the poor job that he completed. The job remains to have many errors that he feels like I should be okay with. I attempted to report him to the better business bureau but he's not listed. I can definitely see why. Based on the quality of work or lack thereof its clear that he is by no means licensed. I'm not sure who could have given him five stars and why because he is horrible and lacks professionalism and his work is garbage. I will never in life use him if he were the last person standing and I would never recommend him to anybody. I strongly urge you to find you a reputable company that embodies skill and professionalism. I will be taking him to court if I continue to have problems with the job that he was paid to do. They carefully covered the floor and furniture from any further damage. As soon as the electricity was back on, they were there with the dehumidifiers and fans. Keith checked in every day until the place was dry. His careful and conscientious surveillance prevented mold from setting in (which would not have been covered by our homeowners insurance), and his documentation allowed us to collect from insurance. Keith was there for us every step of the way, and thanks to him and his team, the damage was minimized. I could not have asked for better service and I would call them again in a second. Their charges were very fair.
