After taking a few days to prepare our quote, he came back with questions about colors and material. It wasn't long before we agreed to his suggestions. We were surprised when we got to the bottom line. C & R Pool came back with a lower quote than the several other pool companies that quoted us,... and the ideas that they came up with, changed and updated our pool area and pool. We're very grateful that we chose C & R Pools to update our pool and backyard area. They were here when they said, always were here to supervise the work being done, everyday, and at the end of the job, checked on us to be sure that we were happy and followed up with care instruction. Got our pool about 15 months ago and it was a solid experience all around, quick and efficient. I dealt mainly with Holly but Billy was super easy to talk with and made quick decisions. I've heard horror stories with pool builders but this was about as smooth as it could be.

Save yourself a lot of time, stress, & money & read reviews on multiple…read moresites (not just on Google bc you can pay to have the bad reviews removed) to see people's experience with Billy/Kingfish pools. Go to multiple pool stores & ask people about Kingfish, they have a reputation in the industry & I often heard after having so many issues with Billy that other people in the industry can't believe he was still in business bc of all the nightmare stories they would hear from customers. I WISH I had read his reviews before I committed to Kingfish but I am here now to warn people so that don't make the same mistake. During the build, there were multiple issues where I had to pay more for this or that & ultimately my pool ended up costing me $15,000 more than the original quote. I also surprisingly had $5,000 worth of electrical issues right after the pool was complete, hmmm. Billy's plumbers installed the pool drainage into my sewer line, not just to drain there but pushed the pool drainage pipe through my sewer line, completely blocking it right down the middle. I had multiple sewerage back ups over the next 6 months bc of this. I paid multiple plumbers to come out to flush the pipe clear. I troubleshot the issue with draino, special plungers, & snakes wanting to pull my hair out until I realized the issues started after the pool was installed. I called another plumber to come out & he suggested he use the camera to see what was going on. The camera saw a pipe going right through my sewer pipe BLOCKING IT, I did not figure this out until 6 months after the pool was completed. I notified Billy & he never even offered to pay my cost for the multiple plumbers that came out or the troubleshooting I did over the 6 months, I had to ask him to do the right thing. His crooked plumbers came out to bust up my brand new patio to fix it & I had to chase Billy for weeks to reimburse me. Another issue, my pool immediately had splotches in the plaster, like as soon as it filled. I asked Billy about this multiple times over the next 6 months & he just said it's curing & will be fine. After becoming upset that my new $85,000 pool looked dirty things got very tense with Billy. He claimed the warranty on my plaster was only if the plaster was falling apart he offered no advice or assistance to help me with this issue or even bothered to come out & look at what was happening. After speaking with people at a pool store, this could have been solved very easily if he had told me to go buy a stain test kit to figure out what was going on 6 months ago before the pool got worse & is now covered in splotches. I asked Billy why he didn't simply mention this to me & he said it was for me to figure out & that after the pool is built he "breaks up" with his clients bc he is too busy with new projects to be bothered by past clients texting & calling him. Buyer beware, installing a pool is too big & expensive of a project to get stuck with someone like Billy. Now bc the business relationship has become so bad I have no service & no warranty of any kind bc he stops responding completely even when you threaten to sue him. Kingfish has lawyers on hand bc they have to deal with so many clients issues. Go somewhere else, anywhere else is better than Kingfish.

He required a 50% deposit to order the part which I paid him That was on July 17. I have not been able to get in touch with them they will not answer their phon, so I keep leaving messages and no response, I requested a refund of $110 no response they are racketeers do not use them.
