Walk-ins is really the only bonus about this barbershop... The older lady who cut my boyfriend's hair did a horrible job. She did a horrible line up and cut his hair super high to the top. She probably automatically thought he was military because he's not local... but he's not military. They also gave him an infection since she probably didn't clean her clippers. Post Covid 2/6/21: High stars for haircut, appointment availability, and no waiting at check in. I called in the morning, and got 2 spots for my sons in the afternoon. We got there exactly on time, and the stylist took my boys , showed them a photo of desired looks and they delivered!! Price, it's was good. Cheaper than hnlax and still did the same type of work. Here's where I need to take a star away. It was PACKED! every chair occupied with a customer and people in the waiting area. Eek. (This Place is small so....)No Social Distancing at all. When we got there I had my 2 boys, and my 2 toddler age daughters...so I opened the door just to let the boys in and me n the girls waited in the car. When my boys ( ages 19 & 13) were done,they walked out & watched the girls while I went in to pay. They did have sanitizer at the door, and everyone was wearing mask so that's a plus...just the whole packed like sardines kinda freaked me out. I went is for a haircut and was very disappointed with the entire experience, When I got there I requested for Louie to cut my hair. The lady said ok and sat me down in a chair and asked me to explain what I wanted, I explained what I wanted with a reference photo and lengths on all parts of my hair. Then she starts to cut my hair, I stop her and said again that I wanted Louie she ignored me and continued cutting my hair. She did not listen to word I said about my hair cut. I said I do not want a fade on the sides and just want a 2 guard. When she brushed my hair she stopped after a few strokes and cut the knots out. When she added the line on the sides, she only did one side and I had to remind her to do the other side; she outwardly complained about it with a groan and the lines we also uneven and poorly done. During the entirety of my haircut the lady was very aggressive and hard on my hair she kept pulling and tugging on it. When she shaved the hair on the back of my neck she used no guard on the buzzer and aggressively scratched across my skin repeatedly leaving it raw and red. When it came time to pay the tip options were 20%, 30%, and 50%. Which is outrageous for a haircut that bad. 0/10 the only reason to go is if you can get your cut my Louie. read more

I got to say not bad for a local Barber shop. The wait was longer then I expected especially after I called but getting back to the hair cut it was good for what I had done. I've never seen a shop this packed out to get a clean cut. Although they do suggest to call and make an appointment, walk-ins are definitely welcomed; and are usually seen within 30-40mins upon seating. The cool part is that they use Square Register and support Apple Pay! 5-Stars based upon their different experienced barbers who know how to cut, and their support for technology for Apple Pay. But...I went for an appointment last week and was assigned to a young man who I'm pretty sure has never cut hair before. Me and my family went to Sherwoods Beach and randomly decided to go to cut the boys hairs heading back in Kailua area....
