I used a coupon to have my oil changed at Midas; they told me I needed to spend $450 to replace something that was loose in my stearing mechanism. I go to Guys for a second opinion- they informed me that there was a part STARTING to get loose but it had another good year in it. So I got back a year later, and Guys replaced it for $310.00 2. A friend of mine had an issue with his car battery running out of power; he took it to the dealer and they sold him a new battery which did NOT correct the issue, new alternator belt etc etc but the dealer could not fix the issue. I advised my friend to go to Guys- the mechanic took some kind of thermal sensor to find where power was being lost- a shorted wire that cost all of about $20..00 to fix!

The car came with multiple problems that he stated would be fixed but never was. I have almost been in multiple accidents just bc my car won't move or pick up speed. tires was damn near bald, transmission mount shitty. I had to go the actually nissan dealership just to figure out the problems it was having. and my car was missing pieces and this is the only place i took it to be serviced. He added a whole extra $3000 to the total price day of. and keep telling me it can be fixed playing in my face bc this is my first car.

We were eastbound from Western Wisconsin to Eastern Massachusetts when our 2008 Odyssey's A/C…read morestopped working on the hottest day of the road trip. Since Syracuse was the next major community, we Googled "Honda Service." The first business to appear was "Honda City." We contacted them in hopes of getting in early on a Tuesday morning: no luck. Fortunately, they recommended Lamacchia Honda. We called them just past 0800 Tuesday. "Is there any chance we could get in mid-morning?" "Absolutely!!" We arrived shortly after 1000, and were whisked right past the queue of waiting vehicles. [Background: the A/C had been serviced in May in EAU for low Freon. When they recharged the system, they added a dye which would be a tell-tale in the event the system was still leaking.] The first report we got was there was no leak: now they were going to do a system diagnostic. (Lordie, my wallet had a $$$ contraction!!) After a brief interlude, the service manager came to us and said, "All done; you're good to go." It turns out that the A/C's compressor's clutch relay had failed. [Why does this sound like replacing a remote relay on the International Space Station?!?] Bottom line: We were in the dealership under two hours and the bill was actually reasonable! We were treated like VIPs and traveled in air-conditioned comfort on the rest of our trip! Very Highly Recommended!!

She was decent, when we got back and said we weren't ready to commit and weren't going to buy it today. She changed her tune entirely.. being really pushy. When she insisted we go into the show room - I politely declined. She pushed my husband to come in and get her card... he followed and as I said "thanks for your time Michelle" she said under her breath "f***** asshole" So disrespectful and hostile at the end. She says she's been with the dealership for years.. maybe she needs a refresher on how to treat customers. We won't be back.

(Long story short, great place, good people. 5 stars, 10/10, would recommend)…read more I'm incredibly impressed by the level of service that Jeff and his colleague (Marcello, I believe) provided during my recent visit. My tire had a leak and I initially brought it in to a different local discount tire place, who shall remain nameless. Due to the placement of the nail they wouldn't patch it. They offered to put on a new tire, which I was trying to avoid, so, I went to Firestone to see if they thought it was patchable. Jeff and the crew were a little busy and said it would be about an hour wait. I was hesitant to stick around, but after we talked some more and he asked the right questions, it was determined that it was leaking pretty fast and I should really get it taken care of. The waiting room was clean and comfortable, with a TV, a charging station (with all of charging cords), and free coffee and water. I had some issues with the charging station, but Marcello came over to help get it working for me without pause. While I was waiting I overheard Marcello helping an elderly regular customer and it was heartwarming. She was quite anxious about an issue her car was having but he handled the situation with patience, poise and professionalism. So often the elderly are talked down to, disrespected, or taken advantage of and that definitely wasn't the case here! Jeff, a service manager and the tech for my work, went above and beyond. He quickly noticed an issue with my key fob (it doesnt lock/unlock consistently, and I need to pair my fob to my start button in order to turn it on), and was able to fix it! A daily frustration, completely resolved! He also noticed that my inspection was due and was able to take care of that right then, too. I could have been out over $100 at the discount tire place and only had a new tire to show for it. At Firestone, I got the patch installed, my inspection done, fluids topped, fob fixed for roughly half that. The positive experience was worth the novel. Jeff and Marcello gained a customer. Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk. The End.

I talked to Jeff True, Service Manager, who very courteously assured me that would not be a problem. When I arrived, Mr. True met me. He was as professional in person as on the phone. He was courteous and listened when I told him what services I had scheduled and would he mind explaining the functions. He explained in detail what would be done and about how long it would take. I was extremely impressed that Mr. True spent the time explaining the services in detail and answered all my questions and I never felt rushed. After my interaction with Mr. True in the future, I will schedule services but only if he is there. I do not usually write reviews, but I was so impressed by how service-oriented he was and what an asset he is to Firestone. Paul B. Smith
