Located inside of the Pheasant Lane Mall upper level near Sears, this FYE has been a long time mainstay at this mall, offering a pretty good selection of new & used CDs, DVDs, Blu-Ray movies, video games, accessories, toys, books, magazines, posters, candy, small electronics, and other cool gifts. The layout inside this store is very cramped with lots of merchandise, seems like you're bumping into lots of things especially near the front of the store. With Newbury Comics located at the other end of the mall, this FYE location offers very competitive pricing and some pretty good sales and promotions such as Buy 3 Used CDs or DVDs, Get 1 Free, $7.99-$9.99 CDs, and $5 (with any purchase) impulse CDs & Movies at the counter. I've shopped at this particular location for many years since no sales tax is charged in New Hampshire. Back in May 2000, I preordered my copy of the Britney Spears Oops! I Did It Again CD at this store. This store has organized several CD signings and meet & greets over the years in conjunction with Simon Mall events including Natalie, Dream Street, Plain White Ts, AJR, and others. I've spent plenty of time shopping inside this FYE and I usually comparison shop online before making my purchases. I've found that the sale prices here on several of the popular/new release CDs are sometimes priced lower than the nearby competition (Newbury Comics, Barnes & Noble, Bull Moose) . Recently, I bought several popular CDs here for $7 each during the Black Friday weekend events. It is unfortunate that many music retailers including FYE have been closing stores and /or cutting back on CDs due to online music downloads and Amazon. The FYE in Concord closed this year and the FYE in Hanover MA is liquidating, which has been "The Place" for many popular meet & greets and signings for the Boston area. The FYE (Crossgates Mall) in Albany NY also hosts meet & greets and signings for several musicians and WWE wrestlers. Additionally, the other remaining NH location in Newington also offers pretty good sale prices and selection. With Best Buy and Target cutting out most their music CDs and focusing on movies, FYE is still the place to shop for my music CD needs! You can also order CDs on the fye.com site too! read more

Well, until today I thought this was a great store with a good selection of products. That was before I realized they had been tricking me out of money through their terrible and deceptively sold rewards program. I signed up on the promise of free discounts and thought it just came with some cool benefits outside of the store itself. Thats how it was pitched to me at the register. Turns out they have been charging me an insane $12 a month that I was unaware of and was not warned about at the register. When I called to cancel and refund, the guy kept pressuring me to keep it by singing its praises and ending every time with "so I will not be cancelling it today". When I finally got it cancelled, they still refuse to refund me any of the money they took. Such a shame and I will never visit this store again. read more

Horrible management. Management gives their associates very little hours, treats new hires with very little respect, pays employees extremely little in conjunction to working such few hours, and punishes employees for singular offenses rather than giving them the training they need. The store always closes early because they don't give associates the hours necessary, and there is very little inventory selection to satisfy customers. Do yourself a favor and spend your money at Newbury at the other end of the mall. If the managers refuse to pay their employees then there is no need to pay the managers. read more

I've come to this store often. Because it has a great source of used and new videos. Every time I go the store has what I'm looking for, great prices. Great selection. Wide variety of items. Great sales. Staff seems to disappear when you need something. read more

This FYE is located in the Pheasant Lane Mall and I always stop by it whenever I'm in here. There's also a Newbury Comics here.. but in regards to the two, FYE is better for what I want. FYE is located at the end where Starbucks and Sears is located. Newbury Comics is located right next to the Target entrance which is great since I also frequent the Target location all the time. The reason I like FYE better than Newbury Comics is because the stuff I'm interested in is cheaper at FYE. For instance, their Blu Rays (Used and New) are cheaper and I collect them. I also like the layout of FYE more. read more

Overpriced NEW RELEASES, older releases, sometimes ones not even a year old are fairly priced. The one I go to is in the Pheasant Lane Mall and there's a Target in the same mall with cheaper new releases; don't complain when you know of the better options. Wider selection than Targets electronics and they actually have open cash registers and employees (unlike the Target at Pheasant Lane). read more

I have always... ALWAYS... been disappointed in my local FYE. Other FYE's (counting their swallowed up affiliates Coconuts and Strawberries) I've been to in the area, as well as ones I've visited all the way down to Florida while on Vacation, are always nicer. Mainly in the regard that practically every other FYE I've ever been to separates out their used DVD's and CD's, at least as far as a "new arrivals" bin. The Nashua location never really did, and their used stock has always been CRAP compared to any other location I've ever been to. This is a huge pity as FYE's prices aren't competitive in the least, so pretty much the only stuff I've ever bought from them has been used. I've bought stuff from plenty of other FYE's (and affiliates) over the years, but from THIS location? It's been there longer than I've had my own personal disposable income and I've probably actually made purchases there MAYBE enough times to count on one hand. And most of those times were probably crazily marked down to clear action figures or some other miscellaneous non-CD/DVD items. Every now and then there will be a decent sale on CD (chain-wide) but even then you can still most likely get it for the same price somewhere else. I just don't see much reason to shop at these stores at all except for the occasional browse through new arrival used-bins... and this location doesn't have one, never had one. read more

Decent movie selection, but they didn't honor the recent sale they had posted up all over the store on a fairly rare used movie i had been looking for for quite some time since they didn't have it in their computer system. Staff Was unhelpful in regard to this, they validated me when I said this was disappointing and did not offer to correct the issue, they flat-out just refuse to offer the sale price since they could not look it up on their system. Terrible customer service. I ordered something on line for in store pick up and tried to call the store all day to verify the order. Rang 4 times then recording saying no one available to take your call and disconnects. A few times someone actually did pick up but then hung the phone right up without acknowledging me. If my card hadn't been charged already, I would never go there again! read more
