We talked on phone. No bs like the 2 drs I saw here. Dr Eifler gave me a plan to follow for rehab. If it doesn't work to my satisfaction, I am making a cross country trip for him to fix my shoulder. Is there is more money in attempted repair than the TKR I had originally requested? I now wonder. Regardless, it has been just over a week; I am off pain killers and moving around with only a cane. I can even walk a little on even ground unassisted. With Weinstein and I couldn't walk properly for months. So after four months I went went back and complained to his face... which was a complete waste of time. My advice (and I did it this time) get multiple opinions, recommendations and do not let your self get sweet talked. Also pick a surgeon that specializes in the particular joint you are replacing or at least that are of the body, not one that can, or does, replace all sorts of other body parts.

I am a competitive powerlifter and I tore my vastus lateralis muscle (one of the quad muscles) attempting to squat 650lbs in a competition. It was nearly a full rupture of the quad muscle and my 28 inch thigh swelled up to well above 30 inches in circumference. Due to the nature of the injury it was imperative to get it looked at and operated on quickly. The staff at SOS got me in and out faster than I would have anywhere else. I got an MRI scheduled the same day as my initial appointment, and a surgery within ~2 weeks, even around the Thanksgiving holiday. Marissa at the front desk is always happy to help and made scheduling and payments a breeze. The X-ray technicians are friendly and accommodating especially when I could hardly move my leg. The PAs and doctors are great and were very mindful when removing stitches. Dr. Weinstein is everything I wanted in my surgeon. He is very knowledgeable and to the point. He won't lie to you or beat around the bush. He gave me the pros and cons of surgery and the possible outcomes with the various choices I had. The surgery itself was very successful and I am nearly back to where I was. He has taken the extra steps to make sure I get back to my goals of squatting heavy again and not stopping at "it's good enough". He treated me like a powerlifter and never once suggested that I should give up on squatting, which was incredibly helpful mentally, especially right after the injury.

Well the ankle dr was only "maybe" going to see patients there. He is normally at StJoe. It was all ridiculous.

I've had CRPS, osteoarthritis, multiple herniated discs both cervical and lumbar and chronic migraines. In short, I'm a hot mess. I primarily see Dr. Nasser and NP, Amelia Campbell and their attention to my concerns and thoroughness has been incredible. When I was in PT trying to avoid spinal fusion, I mentioned how painful it was, I know PT can hurt, I've had both hips and knees replaced. However, when I told Amelia I was leaving PT crying she sat me down and encouraged me to remember that while it can be uncomfortable, what l was experiencing could be doing more harm than good. She also said it could just be a bad fit and maybe I could see a different provider as there are many approaches to PT. The extra ten minutes she spent with me helped me remember to self advocate. Anyway, she cared and her advice was very helpful. The office staff are efficient, friendly and kind. In all the years I've been there, they've only run behind one or two times. I highly recommend them.

I was Not only person who came in soaked. Signed in asked for paper towels so we could dry off. Told NO as she poined to a box of Kleenex!! This was strike one. I sat in wet clothes and shoes for over 2.5hrs. Met with Dr Ray who didn't even look at my feet or do the pin test on my feet! Zeroed in on my neuropathy then started explaining about a very expensive surgery that is covered by medicare! Stike two! Then sent me to another room to fill out more paperwork. Wanted MRI of my spin, see a phycologist, Ekg, all of this as I was soaking wet! Not offer a gown or anything to get warm! Strike three! Not impressed with this place at all. He was not super personable and did not come off as a friendly guy. He is all business. You better be able to explain what happened to you in 1 to 2 sentences max. He's not interested in listening to long explanations. I don't really mind this, but I do know that a lot of people like to talk (having work in the medical field). And if you'd like to talk, you are not going to like him. He seemed knowledgeable and helped me with my issue. Although I did feel rushed and questioned myself if I got all my questions answered. Luckily I do not need surgery so I do not know if he's a good surgeon or not. I think his bedside manner could be improved. But overall, it was fine. I would not recommend him to anyone expecting a bubbly, friendly personality.

It is shocking to me that there are so many positive reviews of this doctor/office. First of all I…read moregot 0 reminder emails/phone calls/text messages about my appointment. It's not really a big deal but was surprising to me. When I got to the office all of the information I gave them over the phone was wrong. My address was wrong despite me spelling out my street name. I told them that I had a surgery in the past, a discectomy at the L4-L5 level. When I got to my appointment they had written down that I had a vasectomy. It was funny at first and I just assumed the girl heard me wrong on the phone. Then I started to get a little worried that an employee of a pain management facility, where they do spinal injections, thought that "vasectomy at the L4-L5 level," is a sentence that makes sense. Dr. Sraow is hands down the most unprofessional doctor I have ever seen. He spent the majority of the appointment staring at his computer, talking about his sports betting habit and Netflix. I was the one who had to keep refocusing the conversation on my spinal problems, which was the only reason I was there. I don't care about your parlay bro, I care about my health. I wouldn't trust this guy to clean my toilets let alone stick a needle in my spine. They were then supposed to call me to set up an appointment for an injection but after not hearing from them for 6 weeks I called and told them not to bother. They claimed they were still waiting on insurance approval but my insurance company said they never received anything. Pretty much what I expected they would say.
