My family and I stopped by Fuzzy's Taco while in town for my daughter's class ring ceremony. Overall, it was a positive experience with good food and quick service. We did encounter two minor issues. First, their POS terminal was malfunctioning but eventually accepted my card after a few attempts. Second, one person in our party ordered a salad with chicken, but the portion of chicken was surprisingly small--barely two square inches. However, the manager promptly resolved the issue, took the plate back, and returned it with the correct portion. I appreciated the quick resolution and customer service. My only gripe, and this applies to many places like this, is the tipping prompt on the POS system. Why is a tip being suggested when I placed my order standing at the counter and picked up the food myself? Just a personal rant, but it doesn't impact my rating. read more

I have been here a couple of times now. Once after their grand opening and this weekend while in town for the big game. Both experiences have been really good. I have had the brisket salad and the taco plate. The salad was very fresh and had a good amount of meat mixed in. I added a little of their Original Butt Burning hot sauce which raised the flavor in a very good way. The tacos were also very fresh. I got the crispy shells and was very pleased that they were indeed crispy and not soggy like in many places I have been. The atmosphere is really good and they had the patio garage doors open this weekend which made for an outstanding dining experience as the weather was perfect. There is a bar with a side facing the dining room and a side facing the patio. There are also several televisions for watching sports while you eat. All of the employees were smiling and very nice. Well the chicken burrito is pretty good. But it's drop ratings becuase it's a drive thru and ask for a tip. And by the way the staff acted they aren't getting the tips anyway. And the rice was hard. And it wasn't much better than Taco Bell at 4x the price read more

In the south, it is difficult to get non-bastardized versions of Mexican food. Fuzzy's is unusual because it actually attempts to get you to imagine that it's dishes are more exotic and wacky than they actually are. When they give you cotija cheese, they call it feta. When they fry your shrimp, they call it tempura, despite pretty clearly not being fried in a tempura rice batter. They've gone from Mexico to Greece to Japan to try and explain something as simple as a shrimp taco. They are, perhaps, appealing to a general dismissal of Mexican cuisine by making it seem adventurous in a way that seems more sanitized, safe, and unthreatening to the unacquainted. The actual food? Pretty decent! Got to be a bit pricey for what you get, but there was nothing we ordered that wasn't satisfactory. Give em a solid B-. read more

I have been a few times now. I absolutely LOVE their breakfast tacos, especially the bacon potato one. The chicken and beefs tacos were good, I was a little thrown off by the feta cheese at first but it works. Be prepared to wait at least 10-15 minutes for your order, even in the drive thru. The last time my friends and I visited, we went inside for the first time. I was surprised to see a completely new menu offered inside that isn't offered in the drive thru. My wife and daughter went with me to this restaurant. We did not know what to expect. It is like a sports bar that serves tacos etc. we went for lunch and were very pleased by the results. If I put in the wrong address and you tried 470, a house with no occupants, why not try the house next door WITH people? And why in the blue moon would I order ice water? I'm from Texas and that's where I have originally had Fuzzy's Tacos breakfast. Texas is big on breakfast tacos so when I saw a new Fuzzys open in Auburn, I could not wait to have it. Let me start by saying the staff is very inviting and friendly nice people. However, the breakfast tacos were good but the amount of egg is ridiculous. There was more tortilla then egg. It looked like maybe a tablespoon of egg was in the tortilla. Mind you that the taco is $2.99. Not worth it. I'd rather go to Taco Bell or Sonic for there breakfast. We decided to try Fuzzy's as there always seems to be a lot of people there. My son had eaten at one in Colorado and said it was good. The front counter folks were nice. I had a burrito with chicken and black beans. The chicken was okay not great. They forgot about the sour cream which would have helped the taste since the spices were a bit hot. Hard to explain... the food was spicy yet tasteless. The chips and queso were an extra $5.00 and small portions. My wife's mahi-mahi taco was fishy smelling and dry as if overcooked. Her rice was salty and spicy. She didn't eat much. My son enjoyed his burrito but he has non discriminating taste. The atmosphere was nice and customer service good. However I would not eat here again as there are numerous Mexican restaurants in the area which serve much better food at the same or lesser cost. read more

I wasn't able to pay on the website so I reached out to Brooklyn and she immediately responded and was able to fix my problem so I really appreciated that. Everything was warm, fresh, and SUPER easy to set up when Brooklyn delivered the food! Normally I expect catered food to be soggy or cold, but that absolutely wasn't the case. Finding affordable options when you are ordering for large groups can be difficult, but I was shocked by how cheap it was and we still had a ton of food left over. All of that to say, Brooklyn and Christi are catering angels and deserve a raise and a trophy for making the catering process so easy! read more
