The person who made the yummy brownie I got last time was there and we conversed a little. Both associates were friendly and I was glad to support a local business. They do have a big selection of loose candy that you can buy by the pound but I wish they had more chocolate options with that as I am more into chocolate than sour sugary things. It is fun to go with the family and wander around, looking at the knickknacks and funny things. They also have really funny sodas with disgusting flavors like earwax and also some political joke items. The staff here is really friendly and Young. Everyone who works here is so nice, and they're great with kids who ooh and ahh when trying to decide what they want to try. Downstairs they have : - A bagel spot (get there early for the best selection and don't be disappointed if they run out- that's what it means to have fresh baked daily!) - A great BBQ spot (this is coming from a KC native and BBQ critic!) - Apres coffee - a cute coffee shop with alternative milks and Italian sodas options. - A stuffed pita restaurant (I'm sorry I don't know the name!) - Gluttony and Graze, for salads and gourmet hot dogs and burgers - And don't sleep on the cute little kiosk to order Mexican food! The smell was enough to lure me to their stall. There are a variety of different roasted nuts that they were selling from almonds to pecans to cashews. We got a small one but it came with a plentiful. This was suppose to be a snack to last me a couple of days. However, I devoured it in one go. I am very glad that they have an online store to order from so I can get my fix of nuts.
