We ordered from the "menu del día" options. Me and my dad had the seco combinado and my mother had a lomo saltado, we all loved it. In case you don't know, the Menu del día option is more affordable than if you were to have a sit down meal of your Peruvian food favorites. If a Peruvian restaurant has your favorite as a "menu" option, go for it! I will definitely be coming back for more. The pan con chicharron was incredibly packed, I could not even fit it in my mouth, so much flavor yet little fat. The tamal was good, not the best I've had but pretty solid. Both were "true" Peruvian servings. The jugo especial was very good!! It took me back to going to the mercado back home and getting one. The service is absolutely incredible. The owner is incredibly sweet and told us his story about his family's restaurant back home. They have plenty of seating and a nice bar area as well. At Naylamp the food tastes fresh and the quality of the meats and vegetables seem to above a notch above most competitors in the area. To date, I have had the rotisserie chicken, lomo saltado and saltdo especial. Portions and flavors were all on point. And let me tell you... this place did NOT disappoint! From the moment you walk in, you know you're in for a real Peruvian experience. The restaurant is beautifully decorated with Peruvian artwork, sculptures, and cultural touches throughout. Honestly, I almost felt like I had walked into a museum! It's colorful, inviting, and there's so much to take in. The bar is another highlight. They have a full bar stocked with top-shelf liquor and an impressive selection of 40+ Pisco labels, along with a great list of signature cocktails. If you're a Pisco fan--or even if you've never tried it before--I definitely recommend starting with a Pisco Sour. What I Ordered I decided to go with one of my all-time Peruvian favorites: Ají de Gallina -- shredded chicken in a rich, creamy ají amarillo pepper sauce, traditionally prepared with milk, bread, and Peruvian spices. It's served with rice and potatoes and topped with toasted pecans, olives, and an egg. WOW. This was pure comfort food. Creamy, flavorful, slightly spicy, and packed with that unmistakable Peruvian flavor. Every bite was mouthwatering, and the toasted pecans added a fantastic little crunch to the dish. Of course, I had to pair my meal with a nice cold Pilsen, a classic Peruvian beer. It was cold, crisp, and incredibly refreshing alongside the Ají de Gallina. What I really enjoyed is that Inka Flames gives you the opportunity to experience different sides of Peruvian cuisine and culture. You can come for dinner, enjoy a Pisco cocktail, stay for the music and dancing, or make plans for one of their special entertainment nights.
