I have been coming here for years. They do not disappoint. I judge Chinese food spots based on their crab rangoon and boneless spare ribs. Both at Fusion are on point. The Rangoon has a great flavor and the pastry is crispy. The boneless spare ribs are thin and flavorful, not fatty like you get at other places. I might have to go back today after I post this! Staff is always nice, and the spot is cute with several tables. It can fill up quickly on nights and weekends though. They have a small bar area as well. We typically get the crab rangoon, boneless spareribs, rice, and general gao's. The most recent time was a few weeks ago, I got what was pictured. Ordered food for New Year's Eve. 30+ hours ahead of time for 630 pick up on New Year's Eve. Understandably they were behind. I arrived at 630, expecting to wait 20-30 minutes. Every single 630 order went out before mine. Still. I am ok with this. The longest wait for a 630 order was 25 minutes including a very large $300 order. (One 6PM order waited 40 minutes, no one apologized to her), I had nothing else to do but pay attention. I was told at 7 that my order would be ready in 3 minutes. 20 minutes later, I had watched SEVERAL orders that were set for 7 PM go out before I saw my order. At which point I asked for a 10% discount. I was the only 50 minute wait and no one apologized for this until I complained. Even with that wait, I might have been OK if I was the next order. I was not. Many orders, even larger ones than mine, went out that were scheduled for 7. At this point I was chastised by the staff for asking for a 10% discount, which I don't think was unreasonable. I used to love this place. We ordered every New years eve and have never waited this long. And have never been treated so shabbily. Shame on you fusion house. Been going to Fusion house for a long time. I always have major cravings for their sushi and crab Rangoon. We recently got the sweet potato roll and the Valentine roll (the Valentine roll is my ultimate favorite). The sweet potato roll did come out a little mushy which is don't love in a tempura, however the Valentine roll was great. Definitely a great spot for some takeout or a great bite to eat. read more

Mi gente!! I never post on social media like that but this time I have to: I will never go to this restaurant again! They are very disrespectful and very money hungry. I went for lunch and ordered a lunch plate that does not state that it is "spicy" on the menu. I returned it because of how spicy it was and I was still charged for it. I complained about the spice and they basically said well that's what you ordered. I decided not to leave a tip as it was not good service to charge me for something we could not eat and there was nothing on the menu that advised that the food would be spicy. Mind you that they have plates that are spicy that have a spice indicator next to them and this one did not have anything. The owner came to me and demanded to know why I didn't tip and I explained. I am very good tipper but i refused to tip a place that served me something I couldn't eat and still charged me for it! Ok, I have heard so often that Fusion has the best Chinese food. I have given it 4 chances, and I do not agree. The Chicken in the Ginger Chicken was like rubber. The eggrolls have hot mustard in them. The regular PuPu Platter items are ok, but far from the best I have had. Their prices are on the high side. Fusion House is consistently delicious with all their food services. The drinks are always nice especially the Mai tai's! I suggest trying the sashimi. Sit at the sushi bar and watch the sushi chef make sushi right in front of you. Crab Rangoon's are awesome. So is the fried noodles. The owners are very friendly. Update: my last post was to describe the early-covid days and how I felt very comfortable with the pick up process. A year later, the pick up process is still the same with the plastic barrier. My mom was very excited to take me here for lunch because she knows how much I love sushi. She seemed disappointed when we got the lunch menu because she said there were a lot more choices on the dinner menu. However, I thought the menu offered quite a few great options for lunch at very reasonable prices. In the end, I opted to order off the regular sushi menu and my mom tried a lunch bento box. Holy cow, the bento box was enormous for only $10.95. I definitely think that is the best deal on the menu. She got two dumplings, a small salad, 6 large pieces of california roll and a large portion of orange sesame chicken. My sushi came out beautifully plated and I couldn't wait to dig in. The rolls were large and very fresh. I also tasted my mom's sesame chicken, which was crispy and full of flavor. We both left very full and very satisfied. It turns out, this is a sister restaurant to Sato II in Stoneham (which I've been to and loved) and also another in Arlington. It's tough to find good Asian food in Methuen, and I think this restaurant is a slam dunk. I hope it sticks around for a long time! read more

I got take out from Fusion House, and I will be definitely getting take out from Fusion House again! I ordered Sweet Potato Maki ($5.25) and Avocado / Kappa (Cucumber) Maki ($4.50), and 10 minutes later, it was ready! The Sweet Potato Maki was nice and warm, which is a great sign that it was actually made right then and there. It was not as crunchy as I would have liked it to be, but I still thought it was tasty nonetheless. The Avocado Maki came with a GENEROUS amount of avocado, which I personally enjoy but might not be for everyone. The seaweed seemed a bit too chewy, but again, tasty nonetheless. While I have never actually sat down and eaten here, I would still recommend Fusion because of the yummy and reasonably priced sushi. read more

I ordered lunch takeout from Fusion House, which serves Chinese and Japanese cuisine. The place is very cozy which offers a full service dining room, sushi bar, and takeout service in a corner strip plaza space. For lunch, I ordered the Sweet Ginger Shrimp ($6.95) served with pork fried rice and choice of appetizer (I chose egg roll). The food was ready to go in about 10 minutes. The portion of food was just right for lunch. The Sweet Ginger Shrimp had tender jumbo shrimp with water chestnuts and a mix of fresh vegetables (yellow & green zucchini, snow peas, carrots, onion) in a semi thick sweet & mild spicy sauce. The fried rice was prepared fresh with a soft rice texture, carrots, peas, onion, and tender pieces of roast pork . The egg roll was crispy and not greasy, filling had shredded cabbage, spices, ground pork, and shrimp. The food overall tasted fresh and had good flavors. I would definitely order again from Fusion House, one of the top Asian restaurants I've been to in the area. read more

The food is 5 stars here. I'll start off by saying that. The service though is why I only gave it the 3 stars. We came here the other night to celebrate a special occasion. We weren't in any rush and didn't particularly care that it was busy and that we would have to wait a few extra minutes for sushi. The waitress warned us about this ahead of time, and suggested ordering an appetizer as well to have before the sushi comes. Well....we ordered and all the food came out at once. No big deal...but we were sitting at one of the small tables, so space was at a premium. The food was amazing. I got a couple oysters (they were having $1 oysters that night). Quality was amazing. Then we got the beef tataki and quite a few nigiri pieces and 2 rolls. we were planning on ordering more sushi but when the waitress came back, she took our plates away, but also took the chopsticks and the soy sauce dishes. We looked at each other and kinda laughed like "guess we are all done." So there goes another $15 she could have added to the check if she just waited.... Then we order dessert (still hungry cause we didn't have the extra sushi). We split the lemoncello dessert. AMAZING the sweet and the tart was perfect. I had put my spoon down and was done but there were a few more bites left that my boyfriend intended to eat....SHE CLEARED THE DISH BEFORE HE WAS DONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I ordered a Pupu patter for 2 and a pepper steak dinner. 1st the Pupa patter was not enough for 2 people. 2nd the pepper steak meat was so chewy it was almost like rubber. I really love this place, the Spicy Tuna Appetizer is simply a phenomenal dish. I tired something new off of the Sushi menu it was had a blueberry on the top of each piece it was very good. I was in Fusion House mid week and brought a friend who was wanting to try sushi. She is a Vegetarian, and had a few dishes and she even tried the Spicy Tuna Appetizer and loved it all. I saw a dish that looked phenomenal on the plate, and I was very pleased with it the Chilean Sea Bass special with a brown sauce over noodles. I went to Fusion House for lunch with a bunch of co-workers. There was plenty of parking available. From outside it doesn't look like much but inside the place made a nice and stylish impression and everything looked very clean. It was not very busy and we were able to place our orders right away. My choice was the Orange Flavored Beef with brown rice and a spring roll and Miso soup for $6.95. Although my co-workers got their food very quick I had to wait for almost 10 more minutes until my order was served. The food was well made and decent portioned. Overall it was a nice experience, good food for a very reasonable price and since the place is down the road from my house I will certainly go back for more. 4 Stars from me with the hope to be served at the same time with all the others at the table. read more

If I could give this place a 0 star I would. The service here, coming from the owner of this place, was RIDICULOUS and UNPROFESSIONAL. The owner is cheap and does not care about their customer service. We came on a Monday evening and the place was empty. He was fighting and willing to lose customers over an $8 dish. I came with a couple friends, one of whom does not eat noodles. He ordered a plate, and asked for the noodles to be substituted with rice. The server, who barely spoke English, said ok, but still brought back the noodle dish. So we tried to send it back with rice this time, she said we still had to pay for the original dish. We asked to speak to the owner, and he comes over very hostile, and yelled, "you guys order the noodle dish, we give you noodles!!" When it was actually the servers fault who did not understand our order. I was appalled the owner was yelling back and forth, unwilling to satisfy our needs. It is not a difficult task to scoop rice out from the rice cooker to serve and make their customers happy. Unwilling to do anything about it; we just had to pay for the food and leave. Fusion is an upscale restaurant. My family and I have been there 3 times and every time we were there, the food was always great. We intentionally tried not get the same dish since we wanted to try most of their dishes and we weren't disappointed. We still have to try their sushi and I don't mind going back. It has become one of our favorite family restaurant. Appetizers were exceptionally good. Notable dishes to try are House Fried Rice, Crispy Duck, Sizzling Seafood Platter, Hunan Spicy Beef w/ Broccoli, Egg Foo Young, Pork Cutlet Katsu, etc... This is also where I first tried the "soft-shell crabs" appetizer and they are to die for. Hmmm, I can still taste this in my mouth. If you live near Rt 110, visit this restaurant or if farther away... it is worth the trip. The place might be small but cozy and warm. Had to wait over an hour for new order. Employees kept encouraging to buy drinks at the bar - why would I give them more money when they can't even remember my order?
