Amazing place. Great coffee, good tea, and last winter they had a red velvet hot chocolate that was to die for. Cheaper than Starbucks and higher quality too. I would recommend this place to literally everyone I meet. Parking is a little lacking, but seating is plentiful. They have card games and board games too. Quiet music, good lighting, and a friendly and helpful staff. I once described the color and flavor of a bubble tea (yes, they have bubble tea) and the lady helping me nailed the drink without me knowing the name. 100/10 would always visit again read more

great place for tea: Me and my girlfriend stopped here one morning.I had the black/green tea which was very good,hot and full of flavor. My girl had the oolong tea and I could tell that she was enjoying it. They also gave us samples of some milk tea that was different yet very good to drink. They have WIFI internet access at this place too. You can park in the lower level of the parking garage. One of the BEST coffee places I had been to. I cannot resist without going there almost daily. I have brought several friends of mine to this place and they told me that they never had such a tasty beverage. The ambience is lively with students from the university. They have some of the local bands playing live music there once in a month. If I had to leave bloomington, I will visit only for the coffee at fusion brew. This is by far the best coffee in the area! It's consistently delicious and the staff is always friendly. I cringe whenever someone wants to go to a different coffee shop, because I know we'll leave disappointed. If you haven't been here, you are seriously missing out. I got 2 bubble teas: jasmine and almond, and they were both undrinkable. They tasted like they were made from powder, the boba texture was not right from not being fresh, and the price was unreasonable for such low quality bubble tea. I do not recommend either of these flavored bubble teas, but the coffee and other drinks looked better. read more

I've been going here for years. The coffee is way better than Starbucks, the service is always fast. Fusion is known, however, for their bubble tea, which is basically just a milk tea, but you can add what they call "textures" to make it interesting. Fortunately if you aren't really sure whether or not you like something they're always happy to give you a sample. read more

Okay. Another review for a place in Normal. It's really sad that you can't get a descent ice coffee at this place. The order taker did not know what to do when I asked for the "coffee of the day" iced. The look on her face should have told me to cancel my order. She said that she didn't know if it could be done. She had to ask another employee about it. He said that they could do it but it would take about 5 extra minutes. It actually took 15 minutes. Again, I should have left. Once I got the long awaited for, difficult to make iced coffee...it was horrible!!! Oh my goodness. I can't believe that they can't make a descent iced coffee. I have been a customer of Fusion Brew for over 4 years, all through​ undergrad and graduate school - sometimes coming multiple times a day. Over the last six months, the quality of drinks has become inconsistent and can be downright gross. The new employees are extremely stand-offish, rude, and too busy talking to pay attention to customers. They recently made my drink wrong and when I asked if they could fix it they tried to blame me and state that is how the drink is made... although I have ordered it multiple times before (they literally just doubled up on flavor and classic sweetener​). They also spilled my iced coffee on their counters this week. They picked the cup up, added more ice and resealed the same faulty cup. The coffee tasted like dirty dishwater. For the price, I expect the drinks to be consistent. Also, for a coffee shop that condones people coming in to do homework, chat, etc., it is strange that the Wifi never works well. Also, if you are an espresso​ drinker their espresso has the stranges​t coffee flavor I have ever tasted. It is an acquired​ taste for sure. read more

They're seasonal drinks are to wake up for! The slushies are to study to! and the cinnamon rolls are to die for! I have loved EVERYTHING I have tried here, and it's always quiet and fun! The baristas could try to be a little more friendly or conversational, and maybe have a few more people working, as the wait to order is a little ridiculous, but their coffees and other drinks and snacks are just amazing. The staff is always friendly and it's a great environment to relax with friends, or focus and get some work done. 4 stars instead of 5 because sometimes the lemon bars on the counter have clearly been out there for too many days and are a nasty texture and consistency. This is not your typical coffee shop environment. It is so much more homey and it's a place I would bring my friends and family to chat, or even a place I am comfortable studying and working on business responsibilities. I love their Taro with BOBA! and that is something you can sample. If you are visiting in the summer, be sure to get a "snow" with your favorite flavors. Be careful if you are going there to work on a time sensitive assignment or test because if it is busy, the internet may be slow. Overall, it is a place I love and feel comfortable at. read more

I have been going to Fusion Brew since they first opened. They have good lattes and other coffee related items but I always opt for the bubble tea. I enjoy the atmosphere and the workers are friendly and know me by name. They make me feel welcome and they make amazing drinks. The only down side is that it can get really busy and they do not have enough seating sometimes to accommodate all of the customers. read more

I live in Chicago and had to come to Bloomington for work, so afterwards my boyfriend and I stopped by Fusion Brew. It was was cute enough from the outside so we thought we'd give it a try. We ordered the hummus plate and a mango bubble drink which was like a smoothie, slightly frozen. I paid 50 cents extra to add the "boba" tapioca balls. I order this all the time in Chicago and other cities, so I know what to expect. When I got it, the drink was half filled with boba, there was so much. It was overly sweet, almost undrinkable. I got one of those big straws. None of the boba would fit in the straw. I got 1 or 2. My boyfriend couldn't get any. The ones I got were completely frozen. Like ice cubes. Before leaving, I let the staff know. I wasn't rude but I used to work in a cafe, so I would always appreciate customer feedback to improve on product and thought they would too. I nicely told them it was hard to drink and the 2 people I spoke with became defensive and told me that's how it's supposed to be. It's a frozen drink. I've ordered this drink for years. The boba has NEVER been frozen ever before. Even if it's an icy drink. I didn't want anything from the staff. I just wanted to let them know as a courtesy, but they were completely rude back to me and tried to tell me that I was the one that didn't know how the drink is supposed to be served. The boba should not be ice cubes and all stuck together. Come on. read more

I keep trying to like this place. I go from time to time because it's one of the more-spacious yet less-crowded coffee shops around campus. It has its moments where it's nice, prompt, and delightful. However, most of the time it's more of a disappointment than finding out that the Joker really DID kill Robin. It's often really hot insight, like the thermostat is set to "Hell" and broken off. The staff are always very nice; but often overworked with just one on a shift at a time and a manager-like woman who spend more time on smoke breaks than on helping customers. (Incidentally, when you come back from sucking one down, giving off an odor of cheap Marlboros like Pig Pen, I really don't want you making my drink, food, or standing within my generally aura.) Free uke jam on Saturdays is redeeming; and with some of the better hours in the area are nice; but don't save it from being a bit overpriced, annoying wait times, and the ambiance being hotter than my cuppa. read more

Best place to get coffee and tea in town. Whether you have simple tastes or want an exotic treat, they have something for you. My personal favorites are their Fusion milk tea, and the white chocolate symphony iced coffee. They usually have seasonal drinks as well, and I haven't had one of those I don't like (pumpkin milk tea is a must have in autumn- it has real pumpkin!). I also like that their slushes and snows contain some real fruit concentrate instead of "artificial flavors." They use good ingredients, and it shows. read more

All of my friends are OBSESSED with Fusion Brew, and after going there this week I understand why! The atmosphere is very warm and welcoming, it's a great place to hang out or do homework. I told the barista this was my first time there, and she was more than willing to help! She explained to me their whole menu, and then gave me samples of their more popular drinks.
