They have almost everything - An aisle in a hardware store with overhead fluorescent lighting, metal shelving units stocked with tools, electrical supplies, and hardware items. A display stand in the foreground holds boxes of light bulbs, with sale signs visible. The store has a tiled floor and organized product sections, with a shopping cart visible in the background.

I love fuseks- they have tons of stuff. They may not have the largest variety (since they're fairly small compared to the big shops) but you can find almost everything you're looking for. They always have great seasonal options as well. There is a special offer for Yelp users, if you check in while at the store. They have a student discount. AND they have a happy hour on weekdays from 4-6 for 10% off regularly priced items. On top of that, they have a great staff and are dog friendly. Oh, and free parking in their lot (not super common downtown).

Well deserved

Just an update to reiterate how much I love this downtown hardware store. They're incredibly friendly and helpful and lack a decent amount of inventory in a smaller space. On a recent visit I was able to stock up on canning jars and a door sweep for our front door. They not only have a great yelp check in deal available but price match Amazon. Price match or not, we always choose to go here first thanks to their friendliness and the convenience of it being right down the street from our home. Keep up the amazing work and thank you!

Unlike most big box hardware stores, this True Value is part of an existing building. The good news is that it is convenient for downtown residents and visitors who need to find something that they just don't find elsewhere. The bad news is that they are limited in space, so the aisles are narrower and the stacks of inventory aren't as high. This place does have a paint department as well as most of the items you would shop for at a hardware store. I was looking for a smaller watering can than the one I have. I was able to find them in three sizes at reasonable prices, so I gladly made my purchase. Another benefit of having a smaller store is that if you have any questions, it isn't hard to find someone to help. I was directed to the specific aisles right after being greeted when I entered. If you like having service as well as supplies, then consider stopping here when downtown. Review #3755

Really nice store!

This is such a nice hardware store! *They give you 10% off if you check - in on Yelp. Another great thing about this store is that they're a YETI Authorized dealer. Not many places are actually authorized. They had a lot of new colors to choose from. The Rambler wine tumbler is one I haven't seen before. They even had YETI dog bowls! I will be adding to my growing YETI collection. Plus, they offer 10% off YETI's. They have good prices on a lot of items throughout the store. The employees were friendly and helpful. Emily at the counter was very personable and nice. If you're familiar with Needler's market it's in the same parking lot. It's in a very nice building.

I'm normally very impressed with this store. Today the person checking me out was very rude. Not sure I will go back.

Great thoughtful staff, prices are inflated due to volume and location, but nothing too overpriced to make a trip not with it.

I think Fusek's True Value is the only other hardware store in the downtown area, so for those who reside near here (especially those who own homes with lawns downtown), there is now another option. It is located across the parking lot from the new Bodhi Cocktail Bar & Thai Bistro in the site formerly home to Indy Reads (which moved to Fountain Square.) Before you read any further, know that because I don't live downtown, I didn't engage in any transactions while here, so I hope others will soon add more detailed shopping information than I can. The shop is especially prepared for home owners in the area. Lots of items for outdoor work as well a the standard aisles of small items do it yourselfers need and can't find elsewhere. Note that when we visited, a "house" dog was lounging near the counter. So, I would advise not bringing your pets with you to shop since I don't know how they might interact. The dog did not move during our entire visit. Seemed well mannered. One of the benefits of shopping here is that they are open 24 hours a day. My wife asked and yes, they do get shoppers throughout the night! I am glad I'm too old for those all night projects now, but realize that when you get started on something, you sometimes just want to get it done and having a place to get the supplies you need is a huge benefit! The one negative that keeps this from an even higher rating is that the parking is very limited and if you wanted to bring a big truck for hauling larger or multiple purchases, you may have some difficulty in the small parking/loading area compared to most hardware stores I have frequented. But, the store did have a lot of needs covered. I think they are supposed to be a paint supply specialty shop as well. But I didn't realize that until I got home and read some info on their website. If you are downtown for some excellent food, stop by and check Trust out. It might save you a trip to one of those big box stores later. Review #3905

He told me he had never seen or heard of anything being online as I was offering to show him the info on my phone. I was confused about this reaction because it was this store that prompted me to sign up for the awards program online in the first place. He seemed agitated and cut me off mid-sentence and walked away from the register. He also said he would 'check with someone.' The cashier and I were both confused by this. She asked him to confirm whether or not he was talking to someone else about it while he was standing 10 feet away noticeably not busy. He scoffed and replied 'I'm not doing that today' while rolling his eyes. The cashier looked uncomfortable and apologized to me. The manager didn't care if I made a purchase or not. I'm not sure if he was in a bad mood before I came in, but he was unnecessarily rude and unprofessional in a situation that could have easily been treated with more grace. The other Sullivan locations nearby have been amazing with their customer service. I recommend shopping with any one of them instead.

In this ACE store, you won't make it to the first aisle without someone greeting you and asking if you need help finding something. Kudos to this mom & pop store.
