He laid out all of the options - with explanations, and did not make me feel pressured in making my choice. I feel they were honest, and were not trying to make the most money out of the job, but rather wanted me as the customer to be happy with the overall experience. When I chose the least expensive option, they still treated me like a valued customer. They completed the job on time, and within budget. I don't usually write reviews, but I feel their customer service and quality of work was so exceptional, I wanted to make sure to let others know about them. I will absolutely use them again if needed, in fact I won't go anywhere else now, and will refer all my family and friends to them as well. Finding a company that still operates honestly and with sincere customer service in todays world is very difficult. Wilf's is a GEM!!!

When my tow truck pulled up at 6:05 (they close at 6:00) they stayed behind to talk to me about what happened and were genuinely interested about the problem and getting to know the situation. When they diagnosed the problem (an almost destroyed timing belt) they ordered and replaced it the same day so that I was able to pick it up in less than 24 hours after I dropped it off. My car works perfectly now and I can be assured that the rest of my car is fine due to their thorough job. Pricing was as fair as it gets and more than reasonable for the job. Overall this was the best experience I have ever had with a mechanics shop and they took great care of my car. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

My cousin works for the government and all their company vehicles are serviced by Crompton Bros. In the past, trying to find a mechanic that would listen to me was extremely frustrating and just recently the problems with my vehicle finally manifested itself where my vehicle was running really rough and developed a loud humming/whining noise that would come on when I drove for long periods at a time which was very concerning as I felt that my engine was going to blow up or seize on me. Derrick, the mechanic at Crompton Bros treated me with the upmost respect and took the time to really listen to my concerns. After diagnosing my vehicle, Derrick explained in great detail, the issues with my vehicle, the cost of repairs and he was very accommodating with working around my schedule. I am very happy and relieved that my vehicle is finally operating in a proper and safe manner where I can now drive without frazzled nerves wondering if this was the day my vehicle would breakdown. I am extremely grateful and pleased with the staff at Crompton Bros as they went above and beyond with the repairs to my vehicle and also with their excellent customer service. As a woman, I have not experienced this type of professionalism for at least 20 years. The repair costs were very fair and reasonable and all parts installed are dealership parts not after market parts which tend to be faulty and it was discovered by Derrick that a faulty temperature gauge that was recently installed by another repair shop was one of the issues regarding the poor operation of my vehicle. I found Derrick to be honest, determined to find solutions, extremely knowledgeable, and a first rate, top notch mechanic with a very caring attitude. Just an all around wonderful human being! I highly recommend Compton Bros and they are now my forever mechanic repair shop as they definitely know their vehicles!

I was referred to Barrett by another local shop that spoke very highly of them, and I see why! From first contact, Mark was incredibly kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. He guided me through the diagnostic and repair process with ease. I was floored by how quickly they were able to find and correct the underlying thermal bypass issue. They connected directly with the previous technician that worked on my car to gain repair insight, pool resources, and solve my transmission issue within just a couple days! I was impressed by their level of expertise, professionalism, and care to help me get back on the road quickly. Repair technician Brad broke down what happened for me in a way that I could understand and clarified next steps. Barrett Transmission was fantastic to work with. They offered direct communication, went above and beyond to quickly diagnose issues, and gave an accurate repair timeline. Barrett totally exceeded my expectations and provided excellent repair work. I highly recommend them for your transmission repair! Thanks for all of your help and insight, Mark and Brad!

I took my beloved 2017 Ram 3500 to Barrett based on reading their reviews. The truck had 830,000…read moremiles on it when they serviced the Aisin Transmission, which is the original and never rebuilt. I noticed when I picked the truck up that the water and fuel light was on and I thought that was a strange coincidence. Over the years this light has come on two or three times after a car wash, and it's an easy fix to clean out the water in the sensor connection. I did that and even replaced the sensor in the rear fuel water separator. The light was still on, even though the fuel looked clean, so I ended up taking it to a shop in Oak Harbor before driving to the Tetons, as that light was bothering me. It turns out the technician at Barrett had inadvertently pinched some wires that ran along the crossmember below the transmission mount when he reattached the cross number. Thus the cause of the water and fuel light. Barrett was extremely honorable and covered the cost of those wire repairs, and the shops diagnostic fee. So the only thing I was out was the cost of a water and fuel sensor and time. At the time of this post, the truck has nearly 832,000 miles as I just did a trip to Teton Valley and back to Washington and the transmission ran beautifully. The service work the technician did was otherwise perfect and this type of mistake could happen to anyone, so I do not fault Barrett and I would gladly use them again and intend to. The fact that they honored this situation without question is an indication of a shop that has integrity.
