Also, due to the current situation only one person was allowed in the pool so it pretty much made it pointless. What I also like about Hyland Fit are their HUUUUGE accessible fitness rooms (3 plus the main 2 gyms) with tons of equipment, massive locker rooms with couches and actual sitting areas vs. a bleacher. Also, there's steam rooms and a dry sauna, all kinds of fitness classes included. This is definitely a much higher end gym without the huge cost!

I would highly recommend looking for a more helpful gym and a gym willing to help you enjoy your workout instead of begging people not to hang out on circuit equipment.

As I entered my 40s however I realized that some of the exercises that worked for me prior were no longer effective. I lost strength, energy, muscle definition and worst of all, motivation. At the beginning of 2026 one of the Vasa specialists recommended I try a strength class. I was intimidated but intent on trying anything. In comes Danielle, the trainer. She brings the fun, plays great music and let's talk about the knowledge she imparts on her students. Why every move and the science behind it.. I learned so much in every class. Each session i felt challenged yet supported. Danielle thoroughly observes everyone regardless of how full her class is and makes note of progress being made, or needed corrections. I'm now 10 months in. I feel stronger, more confident and have wayy more energy. Thank you from the bottom of my heart! I've never felt better..
