He was the first of several trainers I have worked with over the years, but I can confidently say that is still one of the best. One of Kyle's strongest talents is his ability to work with you as an individual. He does not have a one fitness plan fits all approach to training. Rather, he carefully considers your individual physical issues like prior injuries, prior training experience and your overall fitness profile to create a custom workout that addresses your needs best. He is always carefully observing your movement and interpreting it to refine and improve your overall mobility. Do you want to train for improved flexiblity and function? Kyle's will find the right program for you. Do you want to train for strength and endurance? How about weight loss and mobility? He will make sure your workout is attuned to reach your individual goals by creating a unique routine based on your ambitions and abilities. You owe it to yourself to talk to Kyle and see what he can offer. His manner is good humored and personable, leaving you feeling motivated to move and give the best workout you can. This guy is the real deal Jedi trainer.

I highly recommend him to anyone looking to take their fitness level up a notch or two or three. He is great at taking complex fitness concepts and making them understandable to laymen. Therefore, he would also be a great trainer for anyone just starting down the road to better health. Kyle is also quite knowledgeable when it comes to nutrition which works hand in hand with any workout program. This is a great asset to find in a trainer. It's also worth noting that Kyle is always striving to learn more. There are constantly new developments in health and fitness and Kyle stays on top of them. I've never known a trainer so committed to continuing education.

From resistance bands to kick boxing, running and med balls, sand bags to kettle bells, the workout is ever changing so I don't get bored or feel like I am in a rut. That keeps me rolling out of bed each day. Not only does the Summit Fit boot camp offer such a wide variety of workouts, the trainers are fantastic nutrition coaches as well. We all know that a workout without nutrition is a waste of time, so it is great to have someone looking out for both your physical fitness as well as your nutritional fitness in one location. I am so glad that my wife (after attending for nearly 10 months) convinced me to sign up for Summit Fit Boot-camp as well. When they instituted the 6 am class, I didn't have anymore excuses for not being able to go. After the first month i was able to notice a clear and significant change in how i felt and how all of my clothes fit me. It didn't take long and i had reached the point where all of my belts were cinched to the last hole and there was still more room. I am not as lethargic anymore, and i love the energy it gives me for keeping up with my boys at home. Attending Summit Fit Boot-camp has become so much more than just an individual endeavor. All of the boys get involved and have improved their health right alongside me. They are benefiting from the better meals that we are preparing, the host of better snacks that are available, and they love to participate in try the workouts after i come home. They each set up new challenges against me, or against each other (i.e. how long can you hold that plank? or I bet i can do more push-ups in 1 minute, dad). On top of that they chomp at the bit to see who gets to attend on the family fitness day. I have the opportunity to go as often as I like without extra charges. This has really given me the opportunity to put my fitness and wellness into my own hands, and give me the clear responsibility to keep it up. Signing up for Summit Fit was the best thing I have done for my self in years. This is something that I consciously take time for me, and reap benefits for my entire family. Thank you Lynn! Thank you Javier! Thanks for teaching me how to workout right, and making it fun. Thank you for teaching me how to eat right, and showing the results of some simple changes. I feel great and I am a HUGE fan of Summit Fit. pete

The staff at the Westminster location is great and makes cleanliness a top priority- which is very important in a sauna environment. Since joining I have probably told 20+ friends, family and acquaintances about Hotworx and how it is truly a life changing workout both physically, mentally and emotionally. Being lazy hasn't hindered me in the past, but recently I've upset my metabolism with all the eating out and drinking. (I think some of you may feel my pain?) So, I've been watching this group of people run up and down the hill by my house, then do push-ups, squats, bear crawls, and a million other exercises under the direction of one man. After a while of watching I made up my mind to head down the hill and see what all this movement was about. Turns out Trainer Scott operates a boot camp 5 days a week at Wash Park (at Downing and Ohio). Monday through Thursday at 7 pm and Saturday mornings at 10 am. You can go to all 5 of these classes for $75 a month. It's almost like he doesn't give you a reason to not sign up. So I did. The first hour-long class I thought I was going to die. I almost threw up 3 times and I almost passed out 4. I know, I know. You are probably thinking why did I go back? Well, I may be exaggerating about what I felt, but that's because this workout seriously kicked my ass. Like, I could barely roll out of bed the next day because all my muscles were so very sore. I am really enjoying the classes though. Scott has a way of making time fly while making you sweat your guts out. And each time I feel myself getting a little stronger. And that is a very fantastic feeling. Plus, I've been going for about 3 weeks now and I still feel the soreness from working my muscles so hard and I think my belt is getting loser even.

All these class styles offer many benefits; I have personally seen improvements in strength, endurance, and agility, but in all my time at the gym, the improvement I am most proud of is a change in attitude. Four years ago, I would have never thought I would enjoy working out consistently, let alone join a group training class. At that time, I was occasionally going to a normal gym and sticking to basic exercises thinking that was enough to offset the sedentary lifestyle of a person working in the corporate world. A good friend convinced me to attend Scott's boot camp one day and that was the day I realized that not only was I not pushing myself hard enough, but also I had been underestimating the value of working out and the benefits it could bring to my life. The first day was tough and it made me realize just how out of shape I really was. Luckily, I found that the class was in itself the best support system. You meet all sorts of different people who all want to enjoy the workout and lead healthy lives. The positive atmosphere I felt starting that first day is one of the reasons I decided to stick around and luckily, with five boot camp classes offered each week, going after work is not a problem. Through many push-ups, pull-ups, planks, towel drags, and burpees I have achieved more than I ever thought possible. I have made many friends at the gym who motivate me and challenge me, especially Scott, who has been with me every step of the way encouraging me through mental and physical plateaus. Now, I see these classes as an essential part of my day and even look forward to the "eight-count body builder" birthday challenge (something you have to be there to enjoy). I highly recommend going to the boot camp classes. It will change your life.
