Absolutely the best place I could have done business with. I was in the market for a new full size bed and I already knew what I wanted going in. I was immediately greeted by Cristy and she helped me, was extremely knowledgeable on ALL the products she carried. I looked through her catalogs that she had available and found what I wanted. She gave me the BEST deal on a Coaster full storage bed with nightstand, chest dresser and mattress. A few weeks went by and i got a call from Cristy, she told me my bed set was ready and they are going to deliver it today. When the delivery men arrived they got to business right away. The entire process was awesome! I could not recommend Furniture outlet enough, if you're looking for a bed set look no more. I was able to get a new bed set without breaking the bank. This place sucks really rude and not professional at all talked to some lady that told us that the bead we bought was going to get here in 2 days and was more like 2 weeks to get here then I told her to just sell me what I needed for the bead and she sold me more stuff than I actually needed when I called her to tell them that they sold me something that I didn't need she was rude and said that that wasn't her problem and that she was going to talk to her manager and call me back and it's bin a week and no call I will never buy anything from them again read more

Sometimes, you just gotta love Watsonville and its no-nonsense, straight forward, and reasonable businesses. What you see is what you get, no BS. This business is just fantastic. The showroom may be small, crowded, and cold, but at least you are not paying for a 6000 sq ft showroom that will charge you and arm and a leg for a recliner. If large showrooms are your thing, I would suggest going to other places like Ashley's Furniture, Macy's, and the like to see what you like. Then write down the brand, model number or sku and bring it back to Germain and have him price it for you. He can get furniture from anywhere. I went to Ashley's in Salinas and saw a recliner sofa that I really liked. They were asking $799 (original price $899), I called Germain and he said it would cost me $599. WOW! Terrible experience I went in to purchase a computer table. Quick to sell told me it would arrive in two days. I asked if they can assembled and they said no problem. I received a call that it arrived and asked if it was assembled and they said no but would be ready the next day. This would be Tuesday, I was unable to pick up until Saturday. When I went to pick up it was not assembled. Person said do you have anyone that can assemble it. I said no and they said it should be easy to do. The table ended up way to small and guess what no returns or exchanges. I guess I didn't read the fine print, bad on me. Now I have a brand new small un assembled table. I won't be shopping there again. read more

I ordered furniture on June 12 and only received couches still waiting on my sons bed that was supposed to arrive 2 weeks ago they called and said couches were here but bed would be here next week then the next week came and left and no one bothered calling I called them and cristi said someone would call me back no one called me back i waited till the next Day and when I tried calling no one answered my calls it was well within bussines hours I called the store and Cristis cell, I'm about to have a baby any day now which is reason I was getting my older son a bed now my sons room is unfinished for baby's arrival and he's sleeping in mattress on the floor because I got rid of his bed 2 weeks ago when I though his bed would be arriving :( its June 25 still no bed and no call from Furniture outlet.... read more

They have very kind workers. Sonia was so nice and helped me find the right furniture for my budget. They talked to me about the arrival time, and it arrived around the time they told me it would. I understand that they cannot control the companies and their shipment, but they did everything they could to make me happy. It was a lot cheaper than other furniture stores, and they are more friendly. Others seem to be rude, and not understand that the business cannot control every aspect of the furniture business. I first went to furniture outlet a few months ago to look for dining room chairs. Germain told me to go look around at other furniture stores. He said when I find something I like I should bring it back to him and he would give me a better deal. It just so happened we had to be in New York City for a weekend and I took some time to look in a furniture store. I found some chairs l liked. They were $129.00. Germain told me $49.00. I was amazed and quite pleased. I didn't order those chairs but I did order different ones and I also just ordered a couch that sells for about $100.00 more in a store in Santa Cruz.. His customer service is excellent. So go see Germain! read more

Their claim to great service leaves a lot to be desired. Expect to wait a long time without being acknowledged, and good luck if you don't speak Spanish (lucky for me, I do). They charge for delivery and I had to wait much longer than they said I would. Worst of all, they did not answer my five calls to inquire about a revised ETA nor did they return my calls when I left messages. So, I finally had to go back in person to get an answer. I met an upset lady while I was waiting who told me of her similar experiences and said that you can get a good deal there but that you have to decide if it is worth it with all that you have to go through. My good deal was on a used appliance, so time will tell how good it is (they only gave me a 30-day warranty without the option of getting my money back if it fails). I had not gone into this store for several years as my earlier experiences were not great, and I clearly won't be returning there anytime soon. read more

Since i am writing a yelp review on my other experiences with other business establishment, i decided to check all my previous reviews and found out that my review with furniture outlet is gone so i decided to review them again for my bad experience that will be helpful to other people before purchasing an item. Awhile back, I bought a dining table set and sofa here and the color i purchased is not the color they delivered for the sofa set and one of the chair for the the dining table is broken,they told me they will replace it with a brand new one, when they delivered the chair, i found out that they just put hinges on the bottom of it so if you are heavy you will break this chair. Called Germain because he sound so nice and he didn't return my call so i decided to pay him a visit but he just hides from us everytime we go look for him. read more

I had a Horrible Experience!! i ordered a Bedroom set and a TV stand. They said they would deliver my stuff Thursday by 4pm. Well they did deliver on Thursday, but almost at 8PM! My dresser was chipped, the bed had scratches and they didn't have the original screws to put my bed together. So i told the guys to take it back and they said to call back so i called back the next day and the lady told me they were going to reorder it and it would get delivered next Thursday. Well Thursday came and nothing. No call nor update and when i tried calling i would get an answering machine. Next day, Friday, i called many times and still nothing. Finally the lady answered and they said that they had my bed but the were waiting for the delivery guys and they said they would deliver it later that day. The day past by and nothing so my husband called back Saturday and they told him that my bed was going to be delivered on Wednesday. Well yesterday was Wednesday and i did not get my bed. I called and now they told me I'm getting it on Friday!! I also got into an argument with the lady because she said we needed to pay another $25 for delivery which we had originally paid the first time they delivered. Worse Furniture store in Watsonville. They have the worse customer service, delivery guys delivered my order late at night after they lost my order and delivered it a month later. You can't never call them because their answering machine is full and they never answer their phone. Had the worse expirence wouldn't recommended to anybody. read more

I purchased a dining set from them and they deliver it, set-up as promised but while they are setting up one of the chair they break one of them, they told me that they will order a brand new one for replacement, after 2 days they told me that they got it already.If you look on the chair it looks like its brand new but when i check underneath the chair which is the broken part, i found out that they JUST PUT HINGE on it to connect those broken pieces of legs. I called Germain & told him that i am not happy about that & he said that he didn't know that his staff just put hinge on it. As an owner/manager of that company, your staff is getting paid to follow what you just told them to do coz your company's reputation is at stake here.Well obviously Germain's reasoning is a BS! I called the warranty phone # and they said that they will only replace that chair if Furniture outlet will call them for replacement & all transactions will be handled by Germain but unfortunately he didn't return all my calls & everytime I go to his store, he keeps telling me that he is busy but actually he is just avoiding me coz he dont want to replace my dining chair. I already reported this to the Better Business Bureau and we might go to court if they will not replace it. I DON'T RECOMMEND BUYING YOUR FURNITURE AT FURNITURE OUTLET coz once they get your money Germain will not help you at all with your furniture problem whether its undder warranty. The owner and his staff sure talk the talk, and they may have the best prices in town, match or beat any other price, but when it's time to walk the walk, they hide and give you the run around, can not deliver and make excuses. I bought a bedroom set, the chest was not delivered and they forgot to order it, one of the night stand drawer is broken, and they forgot to drop of the main bed pieces. The owner said he would order a new one but needs the old one first, needs the other one first, why so he can try and fix that one and claim to have ordered a new one, I don't think so. Still waiting for them to pick up the night stand and deliver the chest that they forgot to order. It's been more than a week now. This place has extremely poor service and can't be relied and trusted. I will be calling them so they can come and pick up their furniture and if not i will take their sorry pathetic life's to court and sue them for a whole lot more. Ghetto service. read more
