Mitigation of a roof leak after rain/wind storm…read more I woke up the day before my flight to visit family for the holidays and found a puddle on my living room floor. It turned out to be a leak that soaked two walls, and I had to find help fast. Oregon Restoration replied to me immediately while other companies took hours to respond. Their friendly office staff calmly walked me through what to expect in the process and sent help that day. Danny arrived right on time and was friendly, professional, and thorough. He let me look at his instruments as he assessed the extent of the damage, shared pictures with me, explained what they would do and helped me understand next steps. After that as I was traveling, he kept in contact with me to make sure I knew what was happening at home. He also worked with my roommates to help them understand what was happening and arrange work visits. Every person on his team was respectful and helpful, and they checked the progress of the drying process regularly. Danny worked with my insurance adjuster to make sure everything went forward smoothly. I found the team helpful, responsive, and diligent, and I've contracted with Oregon Restoration for the repair portion of this journey as well. Thanks so much Danny! This would have been a nightmare without you.

I'm still working through the final stages of repairs but overall responsiveness to me and insurance reps is excellent. Quality of repairs is on point (thus far), and flexibility of scheduling around existing work and family commitments is great. Special thanks to Nick Hook, Alicia Copeland and David Nevill for getting things handled immediately. Greatly appreciated :-)

If you give a review do you actually have experience with this company, Restoration1 of Portland,…read moreowned by Ty Hines, regarding water damage or are you simply employees getting a kickback? Apollo Plumbing broke our pipe, asked us for a good review for the possibility of winning $100.00 in a monthly lottery. We had water damages immediately. A company once trusted, but no longer, Apollo Plumbing sent these unscrupulous individuals to our home. Preying on frightened home owners. These guys are thieves. Terrible, threatening service. Overpriced, maxed out insurance because they went past home owners request to review bills. Be warned. Defiinate 5 stars for being Disgraceful thieving liars. Two documents from this company had opposite information. R1 DID NOT TEST for Asbestos, from Justin Lincoln. R1 DID TEST for Asbestos, from Steven Moreland. YET NO TESTING RESULTS FOR THE UPSTAIRS DEMO WERE RECEIVED. And we were still billed for it twice. So basically no testing was done and we were charged twice. Which is it boys? My family lives in this 1928 house. An honorable contractor always tests for hazardous materials. You should be ashamed. You win 5 stars for being hands down the biggest thieves in town! Really, read the bad reviews. They are specific and true. Awful company.

The demolition went fine for a water leak, but the restoration took 6 months rather than 2 to 3. Communication was awful -- the first project manager ghosted us for weeks, and no one at the company even knew he had disappeared. The new PM took another month to "get up to speed" on the project. We didn't get notice when workers would be arriving or what to expect for scheduling in general. There was no foresight about the scope of the project. We were encouraged to order flooring materials that ended up being impossible to use and then were charged a large fee to return them. Then they tore up flooring they were supposed to leave in place, causing another delay. It was a huge relief to finally finish and not to have to deal with their team anymore.
