I am eager to share the story of our perfect RV buying experience. We came to Funtime RV Sales to look at some pre-owned Class C motor homes. Salesman Tim J. assisted us. We found two that met our qualifications. There was no pressure applied to us to make a purchase. We did make the purchase at a very agreeable price. I asked for some additional information, not usually requested, and Sales Manager Randy H. readily agreed to obtain it. The "walk-through" was provided by knowledgeable salesman Jim H. and the paperwork/signing conducted by Floyd S, the nicest dealership Finance Officer I've ever dealt with. During our first camping trip, I noticed a loose brace. On our way home, we stopped by, unannounced, the Funtime RV service department. Service Advisor Bruce N. greeted us and I asked him if someone could show me the attachment point and I would fix it myself. Service Technician Joseph V. did not show me how to attach the brace, he obtained parts and tools and reattached it "on the spot". That's service! I was shocked by the high level of service. No sales pressure at all, they were just there to answer questions and help out. They made the buying process enjoyable. Once we bought our trailer the great service continued. We had training on how to use our camper then they gave us a free year at a thousand trails campgrounds. My wife and I purchased our new 2018 Renegade Valencia 38' RV, December 2017. Our first few trips were in the 3,000 to 3,500 mile range. A good opportunity to find the bugs and understand how our new RV worked. Like any new product, we had our list of items that needed attention. Since our repair experience was not at the "summer rush time", when people are trying to drop off there rig and expect it back within a few weeks (not a realistic expectation), we had a very good experience and found the staff at Funtime to be very professional. And, they resolved our list of repair items in a timely manner. In talking with other travelers, when we are out RVing, it is a common experience to have a good list of repair/attention items in the first 5,000 miles. These guys are the best! This is our second RV purchased from FunTime. Both purchases (one new and one used), have been fun and after-sale service work outstanding. My wife and I live nearly 800 miles away from Tualiatin and were looking to purchase an R Pod 179 and make a trip out of it. Dave was a top notch salesman every step of the way and made our purchase seemless as well as Floyd in finance. The price was the best on the west coast without a doubt along with a great rate. For some reason the RV business is full of flakes and empty promises but not these people. Their service is an A+ rating from us. When we arrived our R Pod was waiting completely cleaned and ready for the walk through. As soon as we walked in the door we were greeted and our keys were taken to add a trailer brake controller to our pickup. Our next RV will be purchased from Fun Time in Tualatin. We purchased our 2011 Cyclone from Funtime in 2010. There was no pressure to buy and they made sure we felt supported as a first time owner of a fifth wheel. We recommended Funtime to many of our friends with two more family friends making purchases with Funtime and also having an excellent experience. Since the time of our purchase, the service center has been absolutely awesome to us! They have always gone above the call of duty, fixing things we may not have had on our punch list and making sure they gave us the fairest price. As long as we own a fifth wheel or motorhome, Funtime will be our go-to service center. Be sure to call them in advance! I delivered an RV from Elkhart Indiana (manufacturer) to Fun Time RV on 12/22/2021. They were extremely rude and racist. The manager wanted me to wait in Portland with the RV for 5 days over Christmas. He told me to take the Barnd New Sunseeker and sit over Christmas till they opened back up after the holiday. He told me to "take this piece of shit and take my black ass of his lot". When I reported them to the Tualatin police they lied and said it didn't happen. My thing is if you are man enough to do it bean enough to admit to it. This is not the place you want to do business with. There are plenty of reputable businesses that will stand by their word. No stars if I could. One star because it's the only option. read more

Brought our new FR3 in for some warranty work after our shake-down trip and Bruce was our Service Advisor. He took great care to discuss and document all of the issues we found during the shake-down. He was really great to work with and kept us informed of the status of the work. The work was done on time with the exception of some parts that needed to be ordered from Forest River. His tech, Aaron, also did an outstanding job on the warranty work. He even found a couple of things we had missed and he fixed them also. That was a nice surprise. Funtime RV is a great place. We just started looking for RVs ahead of the summer season and did not know much about our choices. For example, I did not know you can easily rent an RV. So instead of buying one, we are most likely going to rent one. They really helped educate us based on the style of travel we are planning and with two little kids, what would most likely work best for short trips vs. longer trips. Needless to say we were a little overwhelmed by all of the information but in a good way. While we did not make a decision that day, we will go back when we are ready. read more

They don't pay their salesman at a fair rate. The hire retired men that don't care if they are paid going rate. Time Kipers the head guy he is a kink,, he will steel you blind. No morales no controls This company only cares about today not tomorrow. They want instant profits. Run to someone who wants a long term relationship. Funtime Rv does not.
