Nice guy!
Debbles H.

I've visited Funny Greek 3 times in the last 2 months and each visit has been a positive experience. I always base if I return or not to any restaurant on several things. - Cleanliness of store, especially the bathroom, floors and tables - Taste of food - Price - Ease of ordering Funny Greek exceeded my expectations and extra bonus points for serving hot fries made to order. I look forward to returning when I am in the area.

Funny Greek is my favorite spot to fish for a good price you will definitely be full the food is good the fry it just enough to where it's crispy but not dry on the inside the fries are ok it's like any other fish and chicken spot the service is good I usually call ahead so I don't have to wait.

The food was okay. However the portions are huge. They give a ton of food. It's not bold in flavors but you won't be hungry for the rest of the day. The fries are nice and crispy on the outside. You will get a bag of them. Like I said you won't leave hungry. Prices are a little higher than most but it doesn't seem to bother people because the line was long.

Food is always fresh and delicious. Quick to greet and give order. Gyro fries are delicious! And their falafel is top tier !

As you see they don't play with the fish!

If there was a 4.5 star rating on this restaurant I would give it, So many great things about this restaurant it a great place to go on a regular basis, If you can find something you like here, your not looking at the menu. Here they have something for everyone. Many places like this try to just put a-lot of options on the menu just to appease customers, but this place has a-lot of options on the menu that are made well, This place has food for every type of budget, and every type of lifestyle, from vegan, to the big meat eater. The decor looks great here, they just had a remodel and it was done well. This place is a great refuge to go to on a busy day. The cashiers here are very quick and responsive and know the menu well. The Owner is very engaging and remembers and acknowledges regulars. They have a great rewards program with the ap in which you can get a free combo meal after 10 visits. The only thing I don't like is that you have to get a key to use the restroom, and the sign says customers only. most restaurants don't force you to buy food just to use the bathroom, if you have to go, you should be about to go if you a public place. Other that I think this is an amazing place,

A consistent option for fast food in a hurry. A staple in the community not just delivering tasty food but jobs for local residents.

There is room to sit down and eat but I took mine to go. The two women I interacted with were great! Cordial, helpful and friendly. I received my meal very quickly! Where to begin...the fries, that I tried before I started the car to head home, were hot and perfectly cooked. Soft in the inside, perfect crunch on the outside. When I got them home, they were still crispy!! The gyro is huge! Should I eat the whole thing? No. Will I eat the whole thing? Likely. The seasoning on the chicken reminds me of the lamb I usually get with that same soft yet seared meat. The sauce is just wow! The baklava is 3 pieces in one, can't go wrong for $5.50. Tender, sweet, and delicious!

Generous portions for the King and just the right amount of onion. Some places go too strong with the onion. The standout was the sauce! Just had a nice garlicky zing to it. The fresh cut fries were a little greasy but still good. The sleeper was that Greek Custard tho. When you walk in you have a case of temptations staring at you. The custard got my attention. Cold and dense custard wrapped in filo dough then topped with cinnamon and honey drizzle. Dang. This thing played with my emotions. Just so good and sticky. I would make a trip here just for this. It all came to about $22 with a can of Diet Coke and it hit the spot. The gyro was in the top 3 I've ever had, the fries I didn't really care for, the dessert selection I would make a special trip for. Solid 4 Stars

We arrived fairly close to closing, which can sometimes be risky--some restaurants start cutting corners as the night winds down. Not here. Everything was incredibly fresh, and each bite took our palates on a culinary adventure that had us feeling like champions for choosing Brassica for dinner. The ingredients, flavors, and execution were all outstanding. If you haven't been here yet, do yourself a favor and go. Brassica continues to prove why it's one of our favorite places to eat whenever we're in town.

I started with the Cauliflower Tahini Soup, followed by a build-your-own salad bowl, a Chocolate Chip Cookie, and a Minty Pink Lemonade. The soup had a rich, creamy texture, though I found it a little too salty for my taste. Not knowing exactly what to expect, I loaded up my salad bowl with lentils and rice, mixed greens, hummus, baba ghanoush, crispy onions, pita bread, chicken shawarma, brisket, sweet beets, pickled cucumbers, pickled radish, pickled cabbage, cauliflower tabbouleh, marinated eggplant, and finished it with Brassica's roasted garlic sauce and tahini. Every bite was fresh, flavorful, and full of contrasting textures. The combination of crisp vegetables, savory proteins, and creamy spreads made for a hearty, satisfying meal that kept me full long after lunch. The Chocolate Chip Cookie was exactly how I like it--crispy around the edges with a slightly well-done finish and plenty of chocolate in every bite. To wash it all down, the Minty Pink Lemonade was the perfect balance of sweet, tart, and refreshing, complementing the bold Mediterranean flavors beautifully. Overall, Brassica is a great option for a quick, customizable meal made with fresh ingredients. While the soup wasn't my favorite, I'd happily return to build another salad and try more items from the menu.

I asked her where I go could get good Palestinian food and she suggested trying Lavash. I was expecting a small family restaurant, but Lavash is a large restaurant that apparently does a lot of catering also. My wife and I love Middle Eastern food and I can't recommend this restaurant highly enough. The Friday Special, Lamb Mencef was delicious and could easily feed a family of four, with several sides also. Basically it is large pieces of Lamb and lots of yellow rice, and a wonderful sauce, so you need to order (or make) side dishes too. We both are in our late 70's and no longer have large appetites, so this dish lasted through several meals. We both are from the Midwest and lamb is rarely on menus here in America, and the lamb on this dish is about as good as it gets. Very mild and not dried out. Thanks for the recommendation, Summer!
