This place is amazing to find your inner-child again!!! I definitely did that during my first visit to Funland, which is still very fun for adults! The variety of old-school carnival-type games for a really really good price made it impossible not to have tons of fun. First, all the games are super cheap! Like $0.25 to $1 cheap. They make their money off of volume, but it's still very fun! I wasn't very good at any particular game, but we played whack-a-mole, the horse racing game, the frog game, skee Ball, and we went on the Haunted House ride and bumper cars! Haunted House is 6 tickets and bumper cars is 5 tickets. We got the 50 ticket pack for $18. It's a great stop if you're walking around on the boardwalk after dinner or something! I recommend trying all the games if you can! Some things you need tickets for, but most of the games you can pay with cash directly. They also have machines conveniently located to change your bills into a coins if needed! read more

I remember how much Funland was when I was a kid growing up and the only thing better than that is seeing how much fun my kids have now. The only downside of how much fun they have is that we frequently have to wait to leave Rehoboth until after Funland has opened for the day, which slows us getting home on long weekends. The array of fun games and rides that span the gamut from slow boats that are good for even 2-year-olds to the spaceship that plasters you to the wall so your feet don't touch the group to the huge dragon ship that goes completely upside down and everything in between and all in such a small space is simply amazing. The last few times we came we did the following in no particular order: rode the little boats, rode the little rocketships, rode the spinning swings, rode the firetrucks, rode the motorcycles, played skiball, played in the tots jungle gym maze, played giant space invaders, launched rubber frogs at lilypads, did the big fast cars that go forwards and backwards with hills, and rode the monster trucks. That's just what you could do easily with a 3-year-old. There's also the haunted house, bumper cars and a ton of other stuff. It's hard to imagine anything could be better than being able to hang out and have fun by the beach here with your family. It's also really not that expensive. Tickets are priced about $0.25 if you buy them in a reasonable quantity and that makes most rides less than $1. The result is it's pretty easy for us to have a complete blast for 1-2 hours for ~$20, which is just hard to beat. read more

Super cheap casual and family oriented small amusement attraction for toddler through adult. There are not many rides there but what there are you can find to be very cheap. There are also carnival type games which adults enjoy. I recommend going early before 9 PM when the teenagers start to come and hang out and congregate. This is a small amusement park located on the boardwalk. It had rides for all ages but I was most impressed with the amount of rides for younger kids. Very reasonable with some rides being only one ticket. Public bathrooms are located nearby. All the workers were friendly and helpful with the young kids. Great timeout stop from the beach! Tickets are40 cents each and rides take at the minimum 2 tickets. They have deals on higher numbers of tickets. If you are standing at the front facing the jungle gym, rides on the right kiddos have to ride alone and the kiddie rides on the left they can ride with adults. Our son is only 8 months so we were very limited on what rides he could do. We rode the carousel, the mini Ferris wheel, and a slow moving car/Jeep ride. He enjoyed them all. They have lots of midway games, including my favorite, skeet ball. Nine balls were only a quarter! There is a haunted mansion ride that opens at 5pm; other rides open at 1pm. They had some fun looking "thrill" rides I would have ridden pre-baby! I'd definitely say this is worth a stop, especially with the kids! read more

My family and I have visited Funland almost every summer since 2014, when my daughter was eight. We were just there again yesterday, and it was as fabulous as ever. The staff are very friendly and helpful, the games are fair and amusing (prizes galore and frog hop, wow), and the haunted mansion and bumper cars are great blasts from the past. One of the best parts about coming to the beach! We have been bringing our now 7 year old here since he was a baby and my husband and I have been coming since it was just the two of us! Wonderful memories to be made here year after year! I'm always surprised at how many rides they actually do have....a great selection for younger riders and older ones too. They have lots arcade type games, carnival type games and grab machines to play. You buy tickets to ride the rides and although the tickets are fairly cheap some rides cost up to 6 tickets each. Most of them cost 3 or 4 tickets each. The arcade type games give tickets which can be redeemed for prizes. This is a wonderful family fun place...a must when you are at the beach! read more

What is nice is being able to add rides into an afternoon/evening as part of the day at the beach or boardwalk and not having to dedicate and entire day to a theme park. I've gone here since I was little. This time around I accompanied the kids I nanny. We went right at 10 for the arcade portion which is very fun. It's a little disappointing that the rides are not open until 11. The kids really wanted to go on the rides, but they are not open until later. 3yr old loved this place, plenty of rides for toddlers, all with safety belts, there weren't any long lines, and staff were ensuring all the kids were buckled up. Cute little spot to take kids if you are in the Delaware area. The ticket situation is a little tricky because there is not much rides depending on your size but we made the best of it. Nice gem on the Rehoboth boardwalk. They have the standard games which attract the crowds, but the young kids rides where a fantastic find. These were reasonably priced (1 - 3 tickets per ride, priced at $0.25 - $0.35 each depending on quantity purchased) and had enough variety to keep the kids busy for hours. Our 3 year old daughter enjoyed it so much we went back the next day and rode all the rides again. All of the workers were very nice and spoke English (unlike the rides on the boardwalk in OCMD). read more

As soon as I saw this place, all I could think of was that episode of HIMYM where Marshall is wooed to the dark side by Tuckahoe Funland. Funland! It wasn't a magical place where dreams come true, but it was a good time. It's so awesome that tickets are $0.30 each or less. 48 tickets for $12 was a total bargain. And rides are just 1-5 tickets each. We rode the bumper cars, fake tea cups, parachute thingy, carousel, and haunted mansion. And they have a good range of arcade games too. And skeeball is just $0.25! We played and played until my BF finally won me a tiny stuffed dolphin. Most rides open at 1:00pm during the busy season. However, the haunted mansion didn't open until 6:30pm. And the haunted mansion is definitely their most popular ride. So plan on a longer wait there than any other ride. In short, we had a blast here. All wet and salty from our dips in the ocean, but a blast nonetheless. read more

I've decided on this visit that my son has more or less outgrown this place (save bumper cars and paratrooper). My girls adore Funland! Funland is a relatively small amusement park geared towards younger kids. They have a lot of rides geared for the under 8 set and a few for older children. The price of the tickets is relatively low and each ride doesn't require a lot of tickets. The ride attendants check each child to make sure they are securely in the ride. Lines move fairly quickly. The only negative to Funland is that it opens at 1:00pm. The rest of the boardwalk and games area opens at around 10/11 am, a late opening doesn't make much sense. read more

In a word: Nostalgia. When I was little I used to look forward all year to coming here. They have some of the best prizewinning games, as well as a shooting gallery, rides, arcade games, skeeball, Pinball, bumper cars, etc. All of this with reasonable pay as you go prices. If you have children or just want to relive your childhood this place is... well, fun. If nothing else you have to go on the Haunted Mansion ride. It never gets old. Also, the rides are reasonably priced too. It's one of the best interactive attractions at the beach or on the Boardwalk. They have 19 rides, 16 midway games, and a vast arcade. I'm not a huge fan of amusement park type places in general - I usually find the amount of noise and people overwhelming. And they're crazy expensive, especially with a lot of kids! A friend recommended Funland and we decided to make the 1/2 hr drive from our OC vacation rental place and try it out. I loved that it was mostly in the shade. Not indoors with a/c but under a roof and way cooler than being in the blazing sun. The area is way less sketchy than the OC boardwalk tends to be, and felt way cleaner. We got the $30 book of tickets which made each ticket .30. The rides ranged from 1 ticket to 6 tickets, and we made 2 of the books work for 7 kids ranging from 13 down to 2. They were all happy!! The bigger kids went off on their own to ride the Gravitron and bumper cars and the big ship, and the younger kids had fun on the little boats, helicopters, planes, and fire engines. There was also a playground obstacle course thing that our kids from 8-11 said was a blast to go through. We went on a Thursday around 2:00 and there were few lines to speak of. Only for the bigger rides and they weren't more than 10 people deep. The attendants were fine with our 5, 8 and 9 year old daughters accompanying our 2 year old on any of the little kid rides. They had to also pay a ticket but at least we didn't have to squeeze onto them ourselves! We didn't do much in the way of games, although my 9 year old daughter found a quarter on the ground and was excited she could use it to play skeeball. Overall it was a great time and I am sure it's going to become an annual tradition for our family. read more

I'm going to go ahead and say this was as good as it gets in terms of boardwalk family entertainment and for parking. I mean this place has it all. There were some rides and games that I have never seen before. My curious 2-y.o. was perfectly happy with the 1-ticket rides which is cheaper than those electric rides that you find outside of department stores or malls. As you would expect, there are change machines to change your bills to quarters, which is extremely useful if you are short on quarters for the parking meters. read more

We all have to adapt to new changes as a result of Covid 19 but one of the great times on the boardwalk missed the mark on this one. Requiring reservations makes total sense and $20 per person for 2hrs with unlimited rides is a good deal. The problem is that $20 applies to everyone entering regardless of whether you are going on rides or not. Charging adults full price to stand and watch you kids go on rides is a little steep. We had a great afternoon of fun at Funland! As someone else mentioned, parking near the boardwalk gets a little crazy by afternoon, but we were okay with the walk from a few blocks away. The metered parking was kind of a drag, but luckily we weren't ticketed for spending too much time at Funland (our expired meter wasn't noticed by anyone who would do anything about it? ;) ) At Funland, we were thrilled to get 48 tickets for $14. It was a perfect split between the four kids we were entertaining, and everything was close enough that we could stand in the middle and see what the little kids and the big kids were up to the whole time. The rides were clean and the attendants were helpful and friendly. After spending a week at the shore, I heard of a lot of other boardwalks we could visit, but driving from Bethany Beach to the Rehoboth Beach boardwalk and Funland was a great afternoon for us. read more

This is THE place in Delaware. If you're from the state, you have fond childhood memories of Funland. If you've never been before, go!! Funland has old fashioned boardwalk games, like skee ball and whack-a-mole. It also has classic rides, like the Paratrooper and an "award winning" haunted house. The prices are unbelievable too! None of the games are more than a dollar, and rides are similarly affordable (you have to buy tickets for the rides; the tickets never expire). My family of adults loves to take over the bumper cars, and this year we got to introduce the next generation to the childrens' rides. Funland has been around since I was a small child and the nostalgia is one element that makes this place so special. The games and rides are awesome and reasonably priced so that a family can really enjoy themselves without breaking the bank. One of our favorite things to do is ride the bumper cars with our entire extended family. Skeeball competitions also tend to spring up whenever our family gets together at Funland. Funland is our favorite place to take the kids when we are in Rehoboth. It is much cleaner and much more affordable than Playland in nearby Ocean City. There is a nice selection of rides for all ages - bumper cars, haunted house, umbrella ride, etc. and the staff really does a great job of making the experience fun for everyone. Parking can be a bit of a pain during the summer months but it is definitely worth the extra effort plus if you use the Parkmobile App you can monitor the time on your meter and extend it if need be. read more

I ditched my young nephews and continued to make use of the 100 tickets for 25 dollars after they went to sleep enjoying the scarier/faster rides. Zero looks for riding alone.
