The brow appointment took 4 hours since she is newer, but I was appreciative of her attention to detail and her dedication to making my eyebrows look perfect. Their new studio on Burlington is absolutely gorgeous. It's spacious, girly, and cozy. On top of lash services, they offer brow and nail services as well. I've been seeing Jess since day 1 and she is fantastic. I always do a volume set and since I've been seeing her for so long now, she knows the length, style, and amount of volume that I like to a tee. I've never been disappointed by a set from her. My lashes usually last 3-4 weeks (sometimes 5 weeks) before I need to get a fill, which says a lot because in the past my lashes never lasted more than 2 weeks from other studios. One of my favourite things about Meraki (besides walking away with gorgeous fluffy lashes) is the family atmosphere. All the technicians are so talented, friendly, and funny. There is always good music playing in the background, which is a plus when you're laying there for 2 hours. I genuinely enjoy coming to get my lashes done because I find it extremely therapeutic. I mean, you get good music, great conversation, fluffy lashes, and potentially a nap while you're there? Win win, in my opinion. I came in early, got sitted and waited for my stylist to come. This place has no free parking available, but they have plenty of street parking. The rate is $3 per hour. Miyo was my hairstylist and she took a really good care of my hair. Before she started cutting my hair, she asked my preferences; such as my habit (how I style my hair or if I just uses hairdryer, my plan (growing hair), and what kind of style I want to go for. Then she started cutting, and after she cut my hair half way, she asked me to move to the washer station to wash my hair. Once I got seated, she gave me a blanket to cover my legs. She covered the back side of shirt around the neck area with plastic wrapper and some towels to make sure the water did wet the shirt. Afterwards, she setup my chair and the foot rest. Then she also gave me a cover for my eyes. While she was washing, she also gave out some massages. It was such a relaxing moment. After, we were done washing, I got seated back to the haircut seating area, and she begun drying my hair. After drying my hair, she started cutting my hair again more carefully this time, especially the bangs area. She took a great care of my bangs, and I loved my overall looks. After she is done, she gave me suggestions on how to style my hair with the new haircut. After paying, I got escorted out by her. Overall, I would recommend Miyo, she went above and beyond with her services.

Initially, the pricing seemed a bit pricey but now that I come regularly, I wouldn't go anywhere else because their 10/10 quality is incomparable. Although yoga helped making me feel better, I decided to go for a massage. I was trying my luck that day to get accommodated without reservation. I walked in, was greeted by the lovely receptionist and asked how she can help me. I told her I wanted a massage. She checked her computer and luckily I only have to wait 1 hour. This Eccotique branch is conveniently located inside Metrotown mall. I could definitely spend 1 hour window shopping. Five minutes prior to my appointment I was already back at Eccotique. I was lead inside and was asked to sit on a couch and wait for my masseuse. I was offered water or tea while I wait. After five minutes, my masseuse came and introduce herself. My masseuse' name is Paige. She then lead me to a private room. The room is of adequate size. Enough for a massage bed and for the masseuse to move around. I was asked to sit on the bed and was told to close my eyes. Paige then pressed her oil damped thumb on my forehead as she asked me to inhale deeply. She did this 3 times each with different aroma oil. I ended up choosing the Rosemary Mint oil. Paige then stepped out of the room and asked me to undress and go under the sheets face down. While waiting, I noticed the relaxing music playing in the background. I hear the sounds of the ocean and then birds. It was really pleasant to the ears. Before starting the massage, Paige asked if I have any injury or if I have parts of my body that I don't want pressure on. I am typically healthy so went for a full body massage. It was heavenly. I like that Paige would always check if the pressure is acceptable. I'm not a masochist. I don't like hurting myself more so paying the person who hurts me! I like my massage to be just right. I can say I went out of that spa a changed person. I felt so relax and loose. It felt like I can do another round of 90 minute hot yoga. This spa is highly recommended.
